I ran through the door ten minutes before closing and was greeted within 5 minutes. The tabs were ready and off I went. Alicia was professional and no nonsense. It took her less than three minutes to process my tags and I left with them in hand out the door in five minutes. Incredible. At the rate they processed customers even if there were a line it wouldn't have taken very long. Just saying this is the kind of experience you want to have all day every day. Thank you for having such a competent staff. PS this is a family owned business. For 57 years. Amazing value for the time.

I had visited this site awhile back to deal with a title change…read more My car license tab and registration was coming up due soon. Usually, I have it mailed to me. However, since I've been temporarily across the sound for nearly a month, figured it was best to pick them up in person. Tight angled parking out front, plus saw signage for additional parking out back. It was very busy with limited onsite seating. All license agents were occupied with customers. Pro tip: complete tab/registration renewal and payment online. This allows you to bypass the main line. I showed my driver's license and my receipt received via email which enabled that agent to retrieve my 2027 tab and registration. I was in/out of that busy office quickly, easy peasy!

One of the ladies behind the counter looked it up and saw that he was incorrect and printed out the correct amount for me. It was one of the fastest bouts of karma I'd ever seen. I doubt he learned from his mistake, old grump. Terrible attitude and worse customer service. I'd recommend going anywhere else but here. Why? "Because I said so!"

It is one thing to have no signage directing people to where the online pickup is located, but then…read moreto have the woman that was supposed to catch me at the door joke about being on break so she must have missed me is infuriating. I stood in line during my lunch break for 30 minutes just to find out I was in the wrong line and she has the audacity to say "Well I need a break just like everyone else" when I expressed my frustration. I very quickly explained that a sign would literally solve the problem and even pointed at a sign that incorrectly noted one of the windows I had been waiting for as the online pickup window. She didn't apologize. She just said "I see what you mean." I would sure hope so. So let me get this straight: 1) You went on your break without any coverage or anything out to indicate to people that you would return and they should wait for you there. 2) You wasted 30 minutes of MY break by doing so 3) You then got sassy with me about YOUR break that clearly did not get wasted It is one thing to be lazy but to be lazy and rude when I did all the work to renew the tabs myself at home is horrible. All she had to do was hand me the paperwork which would have resulted in 5 minutes instead of 30. But thank god HER break wasn't wasted....

I called to ask if they could mail my tabs since I couldn't make it in before closing. They said no, but added that if I was just a few minutes late and they were still around (sometimes until about 5:30 while closing up), I could knock on the window and they'd let me in to pick up my online tabs. That alone was pretty great. I hustled and got there at 5:05. The front door was locked and they were wrapping up with their last customers, but just like they promised, the folks at the desk pointed me to another door and let me in to grab my tabs. Even more refreshing: when I walked in, the atmosphere was genuinely warm. People were chatting, in good spirits, and there was music playing.
