Have been a customer here for over 20 yrs. Ken runs a first class operation. He and his staff are always friendly, and he matches that with fair pricing and results. If you have a problem following service on your foreign car, just bring it in and no questions asked, he stands by his work til you are satisfied. Best foreign auto shop around the Kitsap Peninsula. He does not do in depth work on say transmissions or engine rebuilds etc but for most everyday wear and tear items, he is the guy, bar none. Awesome and attentive shop! I was so impressed with honesty and determination to correctly diagnose and correct the actual issue. I was told by another place that I needed a new Steering Angle Sensor ($600+ for a BMW). My car only has 78k miles. Instead of replacing, These guys looked closer and determined the real issue and I didn't have to replace that part and saving more than 1/2 the money I thought I was going to spend. Needless to say, This is the only place I will be taking my BMW moving forward. They are great with communicating too which is why the other BMW shop in town lost my business. read more

I've had them work on my 71 VW Beetle and they performed standard maintenance and checked on a few things. Hey did more than i asked and made sure she was road worthy and i walked away paying half what i expected. I've sent multiple other friends there for emergent repairs or just to check something and everyone has said the same thing i have. Honest, Reasonable, and Knowledgeable. I recently broke down up the hill from them on my 77 kawasaki and i rolled down the hill where the mechanic helped jump my bike and gave free advice on how i might fix it. Providing an update not from a recent service, but from the maintenance done on this rig in Aug-11. Turns out iridium-tipped sparky's are called for in the maintenance sked, but they used copper ones instead. No big deal - until you realize on this car you have to take the plenum off to replace them! Realized it when getting quotes for a 150K service and reviewing my invoice from Triangle. Although the different plugs will cost you $75 more total, it's also an additional $200-300 in labor cost to do this. So my recommendation to Triangle are these. First, on the invoice listed the manufacturer and type of spark plug you used. Don't use a code that I one must look up to decipher if you got it right. Bosch (German) should never go in a Mitsu (Japaneese) make. And second, review the maintenance sked with your customer before commencing work. Break out the books and take a looksy at the car if you need to. read more

I have to start this off with the disclaimer that I haven't had any work done here YET (thankfully) and my review is solely based off of the level of customer service I have received here over the phone (recently) and once when my car had a diagnostic done (almost a couple of years ago). The owner is kind and extremely knowledgeable. He took time out of his busy day to explain possible situations that could be going on with my vehicle. He was very kind and didn't make me feel like I was a bother to him and he reassured me that all of the problems that had occurred could be fixed. He spent at least 10 minutes on the phone with me and wasn't in a rush to hang up (like so many other businesses I've called who just tell me to bring it in and they'll figure it out... for a hefty price tag and no guarantee they find the actual problem). I've spoken with a lady over the phone before as well and she was equally kind and courteous. I came to them based off of a recommendation and I'll continue to recommend them to family and friends. Decent customer service can be hard to find in their industry, based off of personal experiences. But excellent customer service like I've received here (without shelling out a dime)? Unheard of. They are a top notch team! read more

The check engine light came on , I called made a appointment they were busy about a week out . Brought the car in 8:30am and they called to let me know what was wrong with it and what should be done to it and how much it was going be . Came to pick up the car about 4:30 . Spoke to the owner/ mechanic ,very nice guy ... did me a big favor by fixing all the coils & worked out a great price for me . My BMW X5 is running great . I have an Audi A5 and they are the only place I trust to do anything to my car. I have tried several other places around Kitsap and something always went wrong (i.e. they forgot to put something back...yikes.) First took my Honda here 17 years ago (great experience), Ken has worked on my E46 a few times and solved a difficult to isolate noise I had. Recently I took in my girlfriends E83 for a suspension overhaul and he tackled all of the difficult bushings that I would not try, (even if I owned a lift). Hi! I recently took my 1995 Subaru Legacy in to have the clutch cable adjusted. Based on my experience with Peninsula Subaru, I'd expected to wait a couple of hours and spend a fair amount of money to have it adjusted.
