I needed new ball joints on my 2004 E350 and also wanted to replace the front and rear shocks. I trusted the good reviews on here and Kevin & co did not disappoint. They also did me a solid and replaced the wheel speed sensors when the ABS light went on because they weren't sure if that had been caused by their work or not. When I first called for a quote for the work Kevin gave me a really competitive offer. So basically these guys are doing really good work and charging very fair prices. I agree with the rest. This place is great! I live in Seattle and bring my car over on the ferry to have it worked on here. The Toyota dealership was going to charge me just over $1,000 for a 100,000 mile service, and here they quoted me $400 for the same service. I brought the car over and went to breakfast and to see a movie, after which the car was ready for pick up. The final bill was $378. Who actually charges less than they quote you?! Super solid and trustworthy business. I called last week suspecting alternator problems and possibly something up with my pulley system. I took it in pretty close to closing time because I work night shifts and they were able to call me before closing with my car already diagnosed, an exact quote, and said they would be able to replace my alternator the next day. Called me around 11:30 AM and my car was ready to go! Prices were very fair for the parts and labor. They already come highly recommended, but I had to leave something here because it was such a good experience. I've had some pretty negative experiences with shops before but after this never again because I will only take my car to Mike's from here on out. read more

I can't recommend this place enough. We've been there three different times and all three times service was great and incredibly reasonably priced. One time they didn't even charge us, saying "it only took us a few minutes." I was quoted $1400 for a 60k service at the Subaru dealer. When I looked to see what was involved, I found that besides an oil change (which I get for free) and a tire rotation, all they do is "inspect" everything. Kevin quoted me at least twice what he ended up charging me. I also tried another mechanic who I used to use, but they now cost as much as the dealer. Mikes will be my mechanic from now on! My husband is gone a lot being military and never got around to writing a review so I will! They are so amazing and I couldn't say greater things. My husband took his scion FRS here to have them fix an issue that wasn't super major but enough to make the engine light come on (been awhile so i can't exactly remember the issue) They fixed it and we continued to drive it. The engine light came back on so we took it back and they basically told us the transmission was shot but since he didn't know if it was them that caused the issue they replaced it for FREE. In that time were dozens of brake jobs, probably sixty oil changes, a couple of engine swaps, two transmission re-builds, stop-ins for trivial things like bulb replacements, questions about mysterious trouble lights, a couple of used car surveys, etc all done competently, competitively, without fuss or bother, within estimate, and completed on schedule. We were out for a drive one Saturday and a belt came loose. Lost power steering and battery light came on. We were able to get it to Mike's, where we've had work done before on our Subaru. They were closed so we left the car there, dropped the keys in the slot and Lyfted home. When we called that Monday, they'd already diagnosed the issue, ordered the part, and we had our car back that day. I was impressed. I was so nervous it was going to be something big (and expensive), and since I had to rent a car for a few days for work, I needed a reasonable repair. I love this shop. Every time I bring my car in they always go above and beyond. I swear sometimes I get my car back after an oil change, and my windows look like they've been washed or my headlights polished. My best experience with them though, came a summer or two ago. I had a bearing go bad while I was visiting my family in south king county, and my dad offered to pay for it to be replaced, until Firestone told me that it would cost $1300 to replace the bearing, and that the part had crumbled in his hands when he took it apart. They told me on the phone they couldn't put it back together, and basically held my car hostage. Luckily I had taken four years of auto shop in high school and knew damn well I was being scammed, so I let it sit in their garage taking up a lift for three days, and then stormed in calling bull shit until they put it back together. I then drove it the sixty or some odd miles home on a now very broken bearing and dropped it off at Mikes after hours with no prior notice. I wrapped the firestone estimate around my keys and dropped them in the mail slot. I called the next day early afternoon to see if they had found them and they told me not only was it done already, but it was only going to cost m $130. I highly recommend this shop. These guys are trust worthy, honest, and go out of their way to make sure your taken care of for a reasonable price. They don't tack on extra services, and they don't try to fix what isn't broken. read more

My car is a 99 Lexus and was due for major service maintenance and the Anti Skid and Check Engine lights were on plus the rear brakes needed work. Keith kept me up to date during the whole process and got my authorization for each emergent problem. They still got me in and out as promised even with the new work. I have been to this place twice, once for each of my cars,having read reviews on Yelp. And the reviews are true. This place is awesome and professional service. The location and lack of a website may steer people away, but let me tell you - these guys are always booked. They have 20+ cars waiting outside to receive service last time I was here. That's saying something for a shop with no website. Their prices are VERY reasonable. Both my car repairs were under $80. That's no joke. Granted they were minor issues, but Kevin always takes the time to explain his findings and never adds anything more to my request. I tell him my problem. He fixes it. Mike's auto repair is awesome! My Jeep engine temperature gauge was too high and the check engine light was on so I took it to B&B. Upon checking, I was told that I needed a new thermostat, new radiator (due to radiator was blocked from excessive corrosion-so they say), and the biggest problem is a cracked engine head gasket (lie!). And not to mention, I needed a tune-up (with the check engine light staying on). With all that being said, the owner told me I was looking at $4500.00. Hell, I can buy another used Jeep for that much. I decided to take it to Mike's auto repair. I spoke to Kevin and told him about the issues I was having without telling him what B&B found or thought they found (without really checking for the problem). Kevin called me the following day and he said I needed a new thermostat, a new radiator cap (just a cap not a whole radiator) and tune-up. I asked him if the radiator was corroded and leaking, he said no. Just needed a new cap. I asked him if he found anything else he said no. I gave him that OK to fix it and reiterated to ensure that that radiator was not corroded and leaking. When I went to pick up my Jeep, he said he did not find other issues and ensured that the radiator was not clogged and/or corroded and no other leaks were found not even on the engine block. So I went from a possible $4500 to $462. What a big difference. I've gone to Leavenworth and driven my Jeep daily for the last 2 months without anymore issues. Mike's auto repair to my opinion will not take advantage of people (unlike B&B) by thoroughly inspecting for any possible problems and without over charging you to fix it. So please check out Mike's auto repair before or after you visit B&B and I assure you they will meet and exceed your expectations without taking advantage of you and fix it for a very reasonable price. read more

I have a giant praise for Mikes auto repair. They've serviced my old vehicles for years, I love them. I usually come to them as a damsel in distress and they fix my car on the spot. Today, I was leaving Winco, something broke or blew like a belt or hose or thermostat or turns out a power steering pulley. I gently drove it down there, overheating. I tell Kevin and other kind younger mechanic, they look, find the problem, give me a 80$ estimate, wow, who does that. They ordered the part and I'm home an hr later, dumb happy, praising God.
