Zachary worked hard today to get me a quote that came just under the other shop's quote. He knew I was shopping around and encouraged me to do so, which definitely built trust with me. He showed integrity by telling me that the other shop's quote was also reasonable and gave me some things to ask about to make sure I was covering all my bases. He took the time to not only build a competitive quote for me, but explained transmission maintenance to me in a way that made sense without making me feel unintelligent. Though I believe the other shop to be trustworthy as well, this shop is closer to me and I will be giving them my maintenance business as well as recommending them to my Kitsap friends and family.

Our '84 Mercedes convertible and our '64 Nova wagon have been there oftens ... seems like we'd maybe get some transmission work done and then some other issue would crop up. Didn't matter if it was undercarriage or exhaust system or window problems - your mechanics could handle it. We've always been happy with the work we had done - and when it was done it was done RIGHT ... didn't have to go back for 'tweaks' or more work. Mike - at the desk - is a great asset; he always had time to discuss what needed doing, and was great at explaining it to someone whose car-work experience was limited to one oil change I did on the Nova. It's a GREAT place to take a vehicle for service and repair. And they even have an outside fenced area for cars that have to stay for an overnight ... or perhaps a MONTH of overnight :D as my Nova did not too long ago while they searched for and ordered parts, and tried to figure out the 'tricks' my husband had used to do things like have the passenger door on that '64 wagon unlock when the driver's door was unlocked ... a really unusual feature for that car but VERY handy. Bremerton Transmission is where we always took our cars for service and repairs, and will continue to be for me now that my husband is gone. Sure glad we found this place all those years ago!! I found this experience to be inconsiderate and unprofessional. I could have been informed that there would be a delay, the lease they could have done given I had an appointment. Zero communication unless I asked, and a waste of time. With a number of choices in the area, my money will go elsewhere... I won't be back.
