The prices are reasonable and they cover most of the basics. They dont have cheese cloth which I needed one time. And the supply is limited to basics nothing fancy. The lid was priced seperate and not as one unit as part of the container. Which I though that was weird. Prices are in line with Amazon on most items. Yes I am an Amazon junkie especially when it comes to price comparison. Hey who doesnt love a deal and save mucho dinero by looking online before making store purchases. I wanted to be sure we had the right team and we spoke to many of the contractors here and got a few quotes. We spoke to a lot of good folks but there was something about Mike and Angel when they came to look at the space. My wife is a great cook and had some practical kitchen wishes and I wanted a pocket door, so the powder room door would no longer swing into the dining room. Sounds simple but I heard a lot of reasons why not. Really? Not Mike; easy, he said. And it was, or at least it seemed so. And not only did they do what we wanted, they did what we needed and did not know. Like hiding heating pipes we had lived with for years. The workmanship and clean finish they brought to the simplest things; even two weeks after completion we continue find neat little touches to please and amaze us. In the end the job came out better then we could have ever imagined. My wife had to go back and update her dreams to catch up with the new reality. As if that wasn't enough, these are some of the nicest guys you will ever meet and frankly we missed them after they were done. So if you have work needed around your house or apartment, these are the guys to call. But get in line, I have another job I need done....

Angel went above and beyond with getting the project done in the face of some major unexpected problems (helped to bring a 400 pound fridge in the building when the delivery company abandoned it outside). I would gladly recommend them to anyone!

We had a couple of false starts on the first appointment, bur from that point on, John was incredibly responsive, professional and clear in communications with us. We must have had him develop and tweak the drawings 8+ times before we arrived at the final drawings. He personally came to the site to measure a few times. GKD only supplies stock cabinetry - nothing custom. Their warehouse is in New Jersey. As a result, the cabinets were delivered to us 7 days after we approved the final drawings; as promised and in good condition. One back panel was in the wrong material; the correct panel was delivered the next day. We also needed to modify and order other panels, and John was very accommodating and helpful in arranging that immediately. Other cabinet suppliers we talked to seemed to specialize in expensive custom cabinetry, which we felt was unnecessary for our needs, and the timeframe for delivery was 6 to 8 weeks (from Europe). Heaven knows what would happened if one piece was damaged or incorrect - it could protract the cabinet work by months. Speaking of costs, GKD was very affordable - again, a consideration that mattered greatly to us. The quality of the cabinets was very good, including the soft close features of the drawer and doors. The range of cabinet designs and materials was also very good. We felt we got excellent value for our money, but more than anything else, we got wonderful, personalized service from John. I highly recommend GKD and John. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I like how they update their products with newer stuff but you might have to wait a year or two for a completely new refresh of products. I've gotten kitchen counters and island counters from here before as well as tiles and kitchen cabinets. The kitchen cabinets are holding up pretty well. The counters scratch and stain easily - you have to be on top of wiping the surface immediately. The tiles are not bad. I also got a small sink from here and even though it doesn't look as nice as my fancy one, it's holding up a lot better and doesn't rust/stain as easily.

I'm based in California so surely I could not make the trip to their NY store, but the customer service was superb and amazing. The model I wanted for my kitchen was apparently on sale but sold out, so I reached out to their Message box and was assisted to order the sold out hood with the discounted price!! Who would have thought there was still some in stock for me? But what really convinced me to write this YELP review was how they handled their business after I have paid the invoice. After the 2nd day of paying, I reached out to follow up on the shipping status as I'm in dire need of it. They assured it was shipped (and yes the shipping label was created right then). However, the carrier took forever to update their tracking status which gave me anxiety it would not come in time. Pacific Hoods was so patient and understanding of my situation that they offered me some credit back for the trouble. Gosh when did a business ever take responsibility for the carrier's job? But these people did!!!! This business 1000% deserves support and more awareness, and yes their hoods work fantastically for the money and are cheaper than the Western brands that do not have as much CPM. I can only speak for myself, I had a really bad experience dealing with this cabinet store. First…read moresaw all the great reviews and that's the reason why I came to them for my kitchen. First promised me it's all good quality CHINESE brand and it's very price friendly. Saw couple red flags including keep on raising price every time and always asked for more money. Should've avoid but thought maybe just communication as the store owner told me they'll solve any problems. Then the cabinets arrived wrongly, the female staff was nasty even told me to keep the wrong cabinet and install it, disregarded the wrong size wouldn't work for the layout at all. And this is coming from a person who works at a cabinet store, whose professional opinion. The cabinet came in has flaws and I reported to the store, they told me because it's been "a while" so the manufacturer won't replace the drawer. It "looks" like I damaged it. Then I told them these are untouched because I was not around and not even installed any handles, meaning the drawers are not even used. They just kept emphasizing it's been a while. I asked many times to define "a while" and what's the warranty. The owner just won't answer the question. Not to mention their so called good quality CHINESE countertops quartz. When they delivered the stone wasn't cut right, it was not straight and also cut short. I had to order the backsplash to COVER the 1/2"-3/4"gap from the wall. Then the backsplash also arrived all wrong. They cut it upside down had to come a second time which at the time I was traveling, and that's why it's been "a while". These are just bloodthirsty people that want your money and not being able to deliver. AVOID!!!!

I've bought from its adjacent and possibly affiliated Qin/Jin Lumber (recently renamed to something…read morelike One Corp Lumber), but this tile store holds its own court in the very specialized tile, ceramics, kitchen and bathroom supplies. We came namely to get tile for a quick repair but we've on and off noted and wanted then forgotten this place during 4 major rounds of tile-buying for our current home's ongoing progress. Finally, at last, we came and it's as good as it looks outside with immediate attentive service from the admittedly not-busy shopkeeper and tile specialist who knew what is in and out of stock which is crucial given the ongoing major supply chain problems which styme the atypically easy possibilities. We easily found tile we liked from its prominent and easy-to-peruse tile display stand and ascertained it was in stock so after easy negotiating (still a thing here), calculating, and payment, we got the car ready which thankfully is easier as this part of the block on New Utretcht Ave has some spots and loaded easily. I look forward to returning for the next round of tile as we have a stairs project which will benefit from their nice selection, very fair prices, and expert knowledge.
