We moved in July 31st of 2018 and found the issues during our walk through. How can these issues be my fault when we weren't living in the home? I heard very excuse under the sun, we were too rough, used the wrong chemicals, it was the tile installers and the company that painted our home. Funny story, we didn't paint any of the walls. Excuses, excuses instead of hearing you are correct and we will do what is necessary to make it right. It's now over a year, I spent over five digits with this company and now I have to pay a different company to touch up the mediocre job they did and refuse to stand behind.

We were referred to RCP by another contractor whom we had dealt with in the past and we trusted but was too busy. Javier, the owner, came out to measure and get info for an estimate. The estimate was very complete and clear and a lower price than I expected. It did take a bit to get on their schedule, but once they started everything went great. The dry-wall installers were amazing, even repairing some damage I had caused between the time of the estimate and the start date. They were clean and quick. Their work was great. Then the painters arrived. I've hired painters before and had plenty of tricks tried on me like painting one coat and claiming they painted it twice or using a paint other than what you specified, that kind of thing. None of that with RCP. At one point I thought they had already second coated a wall and they corrected me and said no and they'd be back tomorrow to finish it. This was a pretty big job and I found a total of two 'goofs', both of which were small and easily missed, but were taken care of immediately and with no pushback. Every RCP employee we came into contact with was courteous, friendly and professional. I was very happy to write the final check because I knew I got great value for my dollar. I won't hesitate to call on them again and would gladly refer them to anyone I know.

A couple of years ago I needed a kitchen cabinet drawer rebuilt. This company did it and did a…read morenice job. It was a well built drawer and they attached the drawer facing. They performed the job at the reasonable price of $40.00. I needed another drawer rebuilt so I went back to Jeremy. This time I'm not so pleased. The drawer is well built with good material but he didn't bother to reattach the drawer facing. His employee said that Jeremy didn't want to spend any more time on this small project which took him all of 30 minutes to do, undoubtedly, considering he had the tools, material and expertise right there. He also charged me 40 bucks for less of a job and took six months to do the job. The mistake I made was telling him that it wasn't a big rush. But c'mon, six months and three calls? The second call he said don't call me, I'll call you. Two months later I said screw this and called him. Two days later he called back saying the drawer was done. What Jeremy doesn't know that my wife and I are remodeling the house. We just spent 30 grand on three bathroom, 1300 to have a concrete patio and front walkway resurfaced and 12 grand to have all the windows replaced. We now plan to have the interior painted, wood shutters installed and the kitchen redone. Guess who isn't going to get the opportunity for the kitchen which will come to another 20-30 grand? Sounds like Natalie P. and I had a similar experience. I know what's going on. Things are busy and Jeremie can be choosy and not so responsive. I've experienced this attitude before from other contractors during this pandemic. What these guys don't think about is people, like me, and potential customers not forgetting about such poor behavior and lackadaisical treatment. Finally, my wife asked me why the drawer facing was scarfed up. . I know that I didn't cause the cosmetic damage to the wood finish. During the six months Kingswood had the drawer in their possession they were not careful handling the original drawer to which the facing was attached.
