Such a great experience, and I keep staring at my new kitchen with wonder…read more When we bought our house 7 years ago, I did not love the kitchen. It was serviceable, but the honey oak builder-standard did not go well with the grey floors. Oh well, we made it work. After 7 years in the house, the finish was wearing, and some of the drawers wouldn't stay closed; we could finally say it was time to make the kitchen ours. I got quotes from several contractors and ended up going with Dan from Better than New Kitchens for several reasons: 1. He spent TIME with me to understand what I wanted; he also wasn't afraid to make recommendations to change what I initially thought in the interest of budget and what would actually work for my needs. 2. The quote was detailed. It included all the special features that we discussed, including separate pricing for some options I wasn't sure would fit the budget but wanted to consider. In quotes from other vendors, I couldn't tell if they had actually had listened to me and they did not include all of the features and options discussed. I work in requirements myself (software) and having all of it spelled out was very important to me so for sure I knew what I was paying for. 3. Dan's passion. This guy loves his work, and you can tell. All of that came to fruition in the build. Super efficient, professional team, and my kitchen is beautiful. No surprises! We didn't just refinish the existing kitchen; we also extended the kitchen against the back of our dining area wall. This gave me an amazing appliance garage, a mixer stand that pops up from a cabinet, and way, way more storage space. Highly recommend Dan and his team.

We purchased our floor independent of Floor One at Floor & Decor (F&D) on Highland Ave. in Phoenix…read more I will review that excellent experience in a separate review. Our project involved the replacement of the wall to wall carpet in two bedrooms in our condo. We installed luxury vinyl laminate planks (Nucore Techtanium) over a very high quality sound deafening underlayment (Sentinel Protect Plus) on top of our concrete subfloor. The Floor One salesperson, Nick Nocero, came to our home to measure and provide his professional opinion of the two luxury vinyl laminate flooring products we were deciding between. We found Nick to be patient, informative and very attentive to our needs by the installation team. Floor One offers a pickup & delivery service which we chose for the additional cost. Enrique, the gentleman who does the pickup and delivery, an employee of Floor One is wonderful. Our installation was to begin on Monday. Unfortunately, the Valley was having a major monsoon. F&D shrink wrapped the pallet of our flooring in plastic and Enrique delivered it in a closed box truck. However, given the inclimate weather, Enrique coordinated with our installer Cesar, to deliver once the rain stopped, late morning. Enrique and his son are polite and professional and extremely accommodating. We were expecting an installer and his team (at least one helper) but Cesar did the entire project himself. There are not enough positive words to describe Cesar. Cesar has been working with Floor One and its owner for over 11 years. He is focused, friendly, professional, accommodating, and honest. It was important for our primary bedroom to be completed in one day so we could sleep in it each night. Cesar moved all the primary bedroom furniture, removed the carpet and padding, the carpet tack strips and our baseboard molding. Cesar's honesty and integrity were highlighted when he informed us that no concrete leveling of our floor or grinding was needed, despite "Floor Prep" at an additional $500 included in our original quote. Cesar laid the underlayment, flooring and replaced our baseboards in one day. He returned our large furniture so we could sleep in the room each of the nights during the project. The great news continued when Cesar confirmed that the second bedroom subfloor had also been previously leveled. We were happily surprised but knew that when we did the carpeting 8 years ago that the installation company was also thorough and spent the time to do proper preparation. We're waiting to receive the updated final "change order" (invoice) with the $500 credit. We also anticipate additional $credit as Cesar also honestly shared he laid less square footage than the original estimate. We got to keep a box of flooring, a good amount of underlayment and still return 4 full boxes of flooring for a full refund from F&D. Thanks to the fabulous coordination by the office staff including Carly, Isabella, Ben/Ops Mgr., any hiccups of the project were overcome including the challenges of the weather, having Cesar dedicated to our project from its beginning to completion, Enrique's flexibility with the initial delivery and then unexpected pickup of the extra materials. Our floor is complete. We enthusiastically recommend Cesar and Floor One. Another rarity of Floor One is the high level of satisfaction the Owner, Victor Romero wants for his customers. We had the pleasure of chatting with him upon the completion of the project to discuss our insight about the project. Considering new flooring? We highly recommend hiring Floor One and requesting Cesar to do the installation. --------

They removed a load-bearing wall, installed a structural beam, enclosed a doorway, and replaced the flooring throughout our entire home. Abel Alvarez and his crew were phenomenal. They took great care during demolition and cleanup, and their attention to detail with the beam installation and drywall repair was outstanding. Since our previous contractor had already purchased the flooring, Caesar and Jesus handled the installation. They did an excellent job, and the finished floors look fantastic. We also asked our Project Manager, Jason Rodriguez, if we could receive the baseboards before installation so we could paint them, and he happily accommodated our request. The project was estimated to take four weeks, and the team actually finished one day ahead of schedule. What impressed me most was their communication. Throughout the project, we always knew what work was scheduled, when the crew would be onsite, and if there were any changes. That level of professionalism made the entire experience stress-free. I couldn't be happier with the final result. Thank you to the entire Floor One team for turning a difficult situation into a wonderful experience. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality workmanship, professionalism, and excellent customer service!

This is a top-notch company that delivers excellent customer service and high-end results. Definitely would recommend checking into this company for affordable kitchen cabinet refacing. They truly transformed our 30-year-old kitchen into such a warm and beautiful space. We absolutely love our beautiful new kitchen and it's all thanks to the wonderful Lenzi family and their amazing team at Re-New Cabinets in Chandler. We had been wanting to remodel and update our kitchen but really didn't know where to start. Everything needed to be replaced as our kitchen was over 30 years old. A new remodel or replacing our existing cabinets would be very expensive and we were quoted about 2 months for it to be completed. We considered painting the cabinets but were not sure how they would look due to their age and condition. We decided to look into cabinet refacing as it would be much more cost efficient, and it could be completed in about a week. After much research we came across Re-New Cabinets. My husband and I were so impressed with all the positive 5-star reviews and the wonderful comments from previous clients. We decided to go to the show room in Chandler and check it out for ourselves. Once entering the show room, it was so clear by all the beautiful kitchen displays that this was top notch company that provided high end quality work. We were greeted by the owners Arlette and Robert Lenzi. They were so welcoming and really cared about finding out what our vision was in updating our kitchen. We also met their amazing designers Veronica and Carlos Lenzi, and they were all so helpful in showing us all the options available. As we spoke of what we wanted to do they each started pulling doors, hardware, crown molding and countertop samples. They were creating something that we could look at to visualize the possibilities of what our kitchen could look like. We really loved their passion and sense of design, and we knew we had found the people we wanted to work with. We were happy to know that every aspect of our project would be handled in house and completed in their workshop by their team. We had so many custom options to choose and over 100 different doors to choose from in whatever color and style you like. All the doors and drawers are soft close and the new drawers they make are all dove tailed. We picked out beautiful crown molding and handles, and all of this is included. Other companies had quoted us extra for all of these items. That same day Arlette also arranged for us to view full size quartz and granite countertops so we could make sure the colors, and pattern would be to our liking. This was so helpful and we were able to get a much better idea than just looking at small sample squares. ReNew installed custom crown molding and hardware, a gorgeous backsplash, under counter lighting with a remote and dimmer, decorative panel doors on our island and all the countertops were finished in a beautiful quartz. In addition, we had a trash cabinet installed and we were able to do a drawer conversion which gave us large drawers for pots and pans and no longer will have to store them in my oven. Everyday someone from the Lenzi family stopped by to see the progress and would call or text us daily to give us updates. They truly make you feel that you are a priority to them. The installers were so amazing as well. They are more than installers as they are also the team that create your kitchen in their workshop. They take so much pride in their work, and they really are true craftsmen. They work so hard to ensure that every part of the installation is perfect. Every night they would clen up and leave our kitchen spotless. A big thank you to Manuel, Homero and Edwin! We cannot say enough about how pleased we were working with the Lenzi family and the team at Re-New Cabinets. We are beyond happy how everything turned out and we definitely got our dream kitchen and yes, it was completed in 5 days. I can understand why they have been in business over 30 years and have such glowing reviews. We feel so thankful and blessed that we found Re-New Cabinets. We really want to thank the wonderful Lenzi family and their amazing team for all their kindness and dedication to our project. They made this such a fun and stress-free experience, and we have some future projects we look forward to working with them on.

We just completed a whole-house remodel with Tanner--including the kitchen, bathrooms, flooring,…read morepainting, etc.--and we are more than pleased with the outcome. The Tanner team, both Al and Bryce, are the best. For such a large-scale remodel, there are 3 important qualities we were hoping for in General Contractors, and Tanner met all 3 hands down. #1 - Flexibility: A remodel such as ours had quite a lot of changes midway, delays due to decisions that we had to make, backordered materials, etc. Tanner was very flexible and accommodated last-minute changes with reasonable cost additions. They did not nickel and dime us; instead, they focused on ensuring the end result looked good. #2 - Dealing with issues: Any remodel is guaranteed to have issues. What differentiates a top GC like Tanner is how they deal with those issues. The control that Tanner has over their subcontractors is amazing. Any time an issue arose, Al would make a call and the subcontractor would pick up on the first ring--even when we couldn't reach them ourselves. That's the power Al and Bryce have over their subcontractors. We had issues where subcontractors were pointing fingers at each other, but one call to Al or Bryce and they immediately worked with them to fix the issue together as a team. This is something I believe is extremely important in a general contractor, and Tanner came through every single time. #3 - Having your back: You need someone watching over the work and the outcome at all times. Al and Bryce truly care about the quality of the work. Al has an eye for mistakes and has literally made contractors redo work when it wasn't up to par. He genuinely cared for us and wanted us to have the best. He ensured we got the best floor tile installer, who did an amazing job with large-format tiles. He also found us THE best Taj Mahal slab that we literally could not find anywhere else. Bryce stepped in when the cabinet colors were delivered incorrectly--even though we didn't initially recognize the mistake. He worked behind the scenes with the cabinet company to have all the cabinets redone. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the final outcome, which looks amazing. We are incredibly grateful to Al, Bryce, and the Tanner team!
