My husband and I were driving through the Salt Lake City region at dinner time so decided to stop in based on the rave reviews. My husband ordered the pork dinner and I had the tri-tip. I saw on the menu board that his was going to come with asparagus and I asked for asparagus too since some reviewers had given the green beans a thumbs down. Bottom line: we were both very happy with our meals. The meats were seasoned and cooked perfectly and the asparagus was excellent, tender yet still a little crunchy. Service was friendly and efficient. (BTW, a previous reviewer said they did not tip -- this is misleading. The servers work hard and they deserve a tip. We asked and learned that they do accept gratuities so just leave it on the table!) We will definitely return when we travel this way again! read more

My goodness was this delicious. I was in a little bit of a rush so I didn't get a picture of my trip tip steak sando. Nonetheless the flavor and tenderness of the steak was perfect. Steak sandwiches are sometimes hard to bite through but this steak was so tender and sliced so well it was not this way at all. Loved the addition of an avocado and ranch to the sando as well. OH MY GOD. This is my new favorite food truck. To be fair, my old favorite has been usurped because it NEVER around anymore and when it comes to food trucks, absence does NOT make the heard grow fonder. Anyway, this is my new favorite food truck. The service is of a fairly average speed for food trucks, meaning that it's slower than I'd prefer to be standing around in a parking lot like a dork but in actuality is probably much faster than if I was sitting down at a restaurant. I got the tri-tip (which comes with delicious mashed potatoes and sugar snap peas) with the barbecue sauce and I'm never going back. The beef was tender and well seasoned, the barbecue sauce was sweet but tangy, the sugar snap peas add just the right amount of crisp and crunch and the mashed potatoes were the perfect medium for the whole rest of it. I have yet to try any of the deserts but I'm very much looking forward to it and I'll report back as soon as I do. read more

They also had no type of hot sauce? That was weird. Everything I tasted was very bland. Not worth the price at all. I got a bacon cheeseburger (they had a special name for it, I think DC burger or something). I'd rather go to Crown or Astro for half the price and a lot more flavor. I had the Thatcher burger. The meat was nearly an inch thick and soft as butter, the onions perfectly caramelized, and a great sauce to top it all off! The French fries were thickly cut and crispy with fry sauce for dipping. I'm happy that American fork is getting more food places like this!
