This store is quite large but can be quite crammed. Make sure you have time to look. My last experience a couple weeks ago involved buying sheets. My husband was determined to have a specific kind but wanted me to go "feel" them 1st. After research, BB&B was the only store to carry them. Went in, felt over 50 types of sheets. The guy in the bedding department that helped me was amazing! He was super nice and very informative. After locating the sheets they didn't have our size. He said he could order them plus the extra pillow cases all with free shipping, he even gave me an additional discount and had it ordered and shipped all with in a few mins. I know where I will be for bedding needs here on out!

If you aren't familiar they have just about everything for the interior of your home. Art, kitchen ware, bedding, bathroom, drinkware, vacuums, shelves ... a little bit of everything. Most of them are laid out pretty identical so that each one has a familiar feel when you go in. This location really didn't have that going for it. Also, compared to other locations, it just didn't feel like it had the same selection that you would typically find at a Bed Bath & Beyond. Being the only one in this area, it isn't bad, I just wouldn't say that it's as good or better than the Birmingham locations. Wouldn't prevent me from going here in the future if we are in the area needing something they have.

I do have to admit that their store set up is difficult to manuvear with a toddler and a buggy. The aisles are close together and full of stuff. This seems to be true at all locations that I have been to. This location stands out because of the customer service I have recieved on multiple locations. First when looking to replace my cookwhere, the employees informed me of the warranty and no hassle return policy. That saved me money. Secondly, when I did return with my cookware: It had been discontinued for several years, the assisstant Gidget spend a lot of time with me looking for a replacement. While we weren't able to get the exact replacement, she was able to find one pretty close. It was at the Birmingham location. She contacted that store and had them ship the item to my home free of charge. While I was waiting on some employees to find or locate and item for me, I was standing by the front check out for 10 mintues or so. I witness the most excellent customer service. A line began to form and the one cashier called for back up. Three others came and opened lines to check all the people out. I noticed how swift they were to response with politness and extreme courteousness. All customer interactions that I witnessed were excellent. The team at the location know how to meet their customer's need in a great way. It will be a pleasure shopping here in the future. Thank you Team Oxford!

There's stuff crammed up to the rafters, it's all a tad too clever and a tad over-priced (if you don't have a 20% off coupon, you're not even remotely trying), and mainly it's a great place to find all sorts of things you didn't realize you desperately needed until, well, right now. This being a college town, they also have a few odd seasonal variations. Looking for patio furniture at the end of July we were told that they had cleared all that stuff out already in order to make room for back to school. Honestly, I would avoid this place (along with Target!) anytime from July to September, unless getting stuck in line behind someone outfitting an entire dorm room or apartment with the help of multiple parents, siblings, and friends sounds like a good time. So yup, if you need the kind of things you can buy here, this will do.

When my order shipped, they used a delivery company called Roadie, who couldn't communicate properly and wasn't able to navigate to my house. When I offered to meet them somewhere easier, they instead tried to refund my order and return it to the store without even delivering it. I contacted Best Buy support and they reshipped the order, and this time I chose pickup at the Hoover location to avoid any more delivery issues. The pickup date said Sunday, so we waited all day to pick it up--only to find out nothing was ready. When we asked an associate for help, they were rude and acted like they had no interest in helping us at all. At that point I'd had enough. I ended up getting everything refunded and I'll be taking my business somewhere else. Save yourself the frustration--I wouldn't recommend wasting your money or time here.

It proved nothing but trouble, as every time I turned it on it required me to sign in by typing on the remote my email and password which I entered in set up, thinking it would be a one time thing, or scan the QR code on the screen, but that took me to the sign in box again. I used the tv about 3 times, and the last straw was when it did not recognize my email or password. So, it was a completely useless device and wasted much of my time. (See similar reviews of Samsung 32H5000FF, and avoid it!) I tried to put this review on the BB site, but could not, probably since I took the tv back yesterday. They would only give me an in-store credit, so I took it. My other option was to smash the tv with a hammer or brick. I understand their rule about returns. However, the man who issued the credit was condescending, as much as said the geek squad would check it out and would just sell it again. He said I could send it back to Samsung. I said, why doesnt BB send it to Samsung and tell them to quit selling defective products. Anyway, he assumed that I did not know how to set it up and use it. So, he was arrogant, and rude. I have never liked BB, and even less now. At least I can give the credit to someone for a gift, if the store doesn't go out of business this year.
