I love going on Monday for there special on a 2 topping pizza. I believe it's $10.99. I always have the pepperoni and jalapeño pizza with white sauce. It's my favorite. It's just as good as Traders which I love. Might be better. Ranch is a must for pizza with me and their ranch is perfect. The service is great. Just moved to the Central Valley from San Diego and went exploring in Exeter. We got hungry and decided to grab a bite to eat at VIP pizza. We ordered a large pizza, cheeze sticks, and fountain drinks. The guy at the reguster was a complete a "douche bag" who didn't understand the concept of customer service and hospitality (no eye contact, no please or thank you-simply rude). We sat and waited for 30 minutes to receive our pizza(no cheese sticks). The guy basically threw pur pizza on the table and left without saying a word to us. Once we were done eating our pizza, I went up to the counter to ask about the cheese sticks and the guy had a "whatever" attitude about him, so I asked him to take the cheese sticks off the bill, as we hadn't received them yet and we were done with our pizza. He proceeds to give me the menu cost of the sticks without tax included, no sorry, no eye contact...just a totally a$$@%*e! I didn't make a fuss about the tax because I knew it would go no where fast...especially with him and his attitude. I do NOT recommend this place...atleast not the one in Exeter. What an awful experience and bad for business. That guys should be fired. read more

Came here on a Friday evening around 8pm. We walked up to the counter to order a pizza to go and the girl behind the counter just stared at us. Didn't say hello, no smile, nothing. Didn't catch her name. We asked for a menu and her attitude was slightly disappointing. Waited about 25 minutes for our food and brought it back to our hotel as we are from out of town. The pizza is okay. It's on the dry side. About 2 bites in I realized the pizza has absolutely no tomato sauce. It's pure dough, cheese and meat. Thats it. Went in on a Wednesday afternoon around 2pm, place was empty aside from a worship group sitting in the corner & 2 boys at the counter. I stood at the counter for a solid 5 minutes before being seen at which point an incredibly unfriendly guy came up to take my order. This was my first & last visit based SOLELY off of the lack a service & FRIENDLY faces. Guy was too interested in chatting with his friends & hanging out in the back room. Anytime I needed a refill of mine or my grandson's drinks I had to wait to be seen from the back. When I asked for a large box to take my full large pizza home (2 slices had been eaten) I was handed a small styrofoam box to put my large pizza in & remaining potatoe wedges in. This was just my experience so I thought ok maybe my resting bitch face is showing thus the poor service BUT NO!! An elderly lady came in while there & she was treated WORSE!! We stopped in late after an all day trip through Sequoia National Park. Fantastic pizza crust (airy and light) and sauce! Great mix of imports and domestic beer on tap. Salad bar was exactly what one should look like...fresh ingredients- crispy greens (not just iceberg), croutons, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, etc...excellent ranch dressing. Clean, clean, clean. Adorable setting with comfy benches and long family style dining tables. Small game room for the kids. I am Italian and I was impressed. I am a local in Exeter California where I have just been cheated from VIP Pizza. When I went to purchase a beer, the menu stated it was 5.50, but then the lady charged me 7 dollars plus tax and said that their menus haven't been updated!! Well 1.50 is a pretty big leap to just go from 5.50 to 7.00 For 1 beer!! And then the place was absolutely dead and it took 30 minutes for just wings. Only wings. Went here as we arrived Exeter en route to Sequoia. Restaurant was completely empty and no one offered to take our order until we stood at the register for a whole 10 minutes.... The sour dough pizza crust was great! Good texture, chew and just a wonderful thin crust that wasnt too thin. The sauce was richly favored and the toppings were fresh and flavorfull. We drove over from Hanford to try a pizza with a sour dough crust. It was definitely worth the drive. read more

One of the Worst Experiences that ive ever had at a restaurant. I Would give Kirmans VIP pizza a 4 star rating but a couple months ago my brother had to use the bathrooom there so i took him in kirkmans VIP pizza to use the restroom and as i was approaching the bathroom door when the owner stood right between me and the bathroom and said in a mean firm voice "are you guys customers" and i said no but ive ate there many times before, so he had me and my brother leave the restaurant just because we werent customers and i thought that he was very Rude and i Didnt get treated like a VIP as said in the name of the restaurant and i was treated like an outlaw. i would NOT Recommend eating at this restaurant because of this experience and i wouldnt want anybody else treated like this either. What is would expect the owner to have done instead was to kindly say that the bathrooms are for customers only and apologize for that, and that he would try to be as kind as possible not RUDE and MEAN. To be honest i could have went to just about any other business in that area and i could have used the restroom customer or no customer. and i would have been treated kind and respectful. So the better option than this hole in the wall joint is to just go to Me-N-Eds pizza a couple blocks away. read more

When walking into VIP pizza you get hit with a sporty atmosphere and the smell of their delicious pizza. When I walked to the front counter I was greeted by a friendly worker who took down my order with a smile. Then finally I got a slice of their cheese pizza. The pizza was great and so was the service the only down side was the amount of people in the restaurant which could be because I went on a Sunday night when football was playing. I had a chance to try this the other day and I really enjoyed their pizza. It was crispy and had a good amount of toppings as well as a good sauce. They have a rather extensive menu with a lot of things which sound very appetizing, as well as a decent drink selection. It's a really cool place for a sports fan with lots of memorabilia up on the walls. They were quite busy at the time I was there but service was fairly quick. I love the pizza here, and we always manage to go at a good time when it's not too packed. We usually get the combination and a personal cheese pizza for the little one. Sometimes we will get wings or another yummy appetizer. The crust is good, not too thick and not too thin. They are always full of plenty of fresh toppings. They will bring you a big squeeze bottle of ranch and hot sauce. The ranch is tasty, not that processed bottled flavor. We had chile verde pizza the last time we were there, it was good, but not as good as the combo. They also have amazing vegetarian pizza options too, with yummy pesto, artichokes and avocado. There is a small salad bar, but it is always full and fresh. The employees are always super nice, but tend to look a little tired. Maybe overworked? Our daughter always takes lots of quarters to play games and buy stuff from the machines, it's a good family environment. The price of the pizza is pretty typical and I would have given it five stars, but the beer prices are awful. 12 bucks for a pitcher of craft beer. But it's Sam Adams, nothing spectacular. Vip Pizza in Exeter california is a very cheap restaurant to eat at for lunch or just a snack. You can get get their student special for $5 which comes with 2 pizzas and a soda. The pizza Is very delicious and well made and is not to greasy. The place was very neat and felt sporty inside. There's an upstairs room you should visit where you can enjoy your food. I love coming here for pizza because they have the most unique combos in town. My favorite is the spicy chicken which has white sauce, chicken, buffalo hot sauce, celery, and blue cheese crumbles.
