As a valley native, I've had pizza from numerous Me-n-Ed's in Visalia, Fresno and this one in Exeter. This particular site is definitely the best Me-n-Ed's I've ever had! In fact, I asked during my last visit why the pizza at this one is so much better than others? The secret it turns out is in making and using fresh dough, instead of pre making it and storing it in the cooler for longer periods. It definitely makes a huge difference in the overall quality and taste in my opinion. They also have some great lunch specials that are priced very well. I'm a Nipomo, CA local and have tried the Nipomo Me-n-ed's pizza a couple times before and was not impressed with the pizza or the service. But after many years away and hearing they had made some changes, I gambled the change would be positive, at least in the quality of their food. I immediately noticed their ambiance had changed from a family style pizza eatery with a cozy, warm fireplace to a cold warehouse-style sports bar with tv's galore and lots of Bring-Your-Hearing-Protection noise. So much for a relaxing atmosphere, but I was more interested in seeing if the quality of their pizza had improved than the scenery. Yes, the quality had changed.....for the worse. My order did visually resemble a round pizza but the crust tasted like Bisquick, actually more like the Bisquick box....and in addition there was not one (1) discernible taste, or even a trace, of pizza sauce on this....round thing. I know we live in a world that is now constantly changing the definition of things to their liking, so it appears Me-n-ed's has followed suit and changed the definition of "Tasty Pizza" to "An overpriced, tasteless slab of crumbly Bisquick covered with various toppings". So I pulled my $100 bill out to pay and the tall heavy set old lady with black hair immediately told me they don't take $100 bills. I told them that is all I have and she told me to go elsewhere and get change. What happened to customer service? If the customer has the money to pay for it, then they should Take it. What's the point of cash if it is not accepted? They had my order made already and just let it go to waste over them not accepting my cash. Let me start off by saying it was a very long wait when it was very slow...employees are young and seem to not care much about good customer service or making sure customers get there pizzas served hot...I ordered my pizza over the phone..got here and paid..sat down for over 45 minutes and people who came after me were being served...then I find out the pizza that was being put on top of oven when I arrived was my order...so my pizzas sat on top oven for 45 minutes..not counting the 20 minutes that had already passed from my call order...the kid that was at the register knew I was there for pick up..how can you not see a customer sitting there waiting when it was very slow...horrible service...please hire people who take jobs seriously....hope it gets better ..I love me & eds but the one on mooneys in visalia..1st time here in exeter read more

Seriously, this Me n Eds blows. It takes like an hour and a half to get it delivered. Granted I could drive but both the other pizzarias here manage to get it to me quickly and cheaply. I usually order during football games so I don't want to drive to get my pizza. Most of the employees look like they hate their job when when I do go in ( which I did since it was only 20 mins for pick up.) Its unfortunate because VIP and Hole in the Wall are much friendlier. I wish Me N Ed's corporate office cared anything, at all about the standards at this location. It's consistently terrible, this is the third time we've dealt with slow & terrible service. We learned our lesson about dining in, because they will serve everyone before you, delivery, take-out etc. We sat for over 50 minutes, while people came in, ordered and received their pizza before us. When we talked to the cashier, they said they were just about to get our pizza in the oven and then they explained they were really busy with all of the take-out and delivery orders. So, apparently dine in customers are worthless and they will take over an hour to get you a pizza that takes 12 minutes to bake. We then decided to only do take-out, still disappointing, with huge lines building up and an assistant manager who avoids customers at all costs, she also doesn't like to identify herself with a name tag, like the rest of the staff. The poor nice little teenager, was trying to deal with all of the upset customers, while she hid out. She was finally forced to identify herself and lend a hand, once demands for refunds started. Anyhow, it's very apparent Me N Ed's won't care about this location, until the sales go down. We've basically decided to give up our lifelong love of Me N Ed's while living in Exeter and learn to like a different brand of pizza, until we move closer to a better one. read more

I've waited 1 hour for pick ups then went to pick up my pizza and waited anywhere from 20-45 more minutes. Today I called at 1:44pm was told an hour and thirty minutes for delivery and it's now 3:44pm and still no pizza! When I called I got the whole delivery driver must have it so it should be there any minute? I'm in no hurry but really 2 hours for a large pizza and a small pizza?! However, I have had a couple of problems.. 1) I have had a few experiences where we waited 2 1/2-3 hours for our pizza without a courtesy call. 2) We get delivery and the delivery people are always great, but we only get delivery because I feel uncomfortable going in to the restaurant because I find the inside workers to be generally unfriendly/unpleasant. Other than that, the food is good! Just go with delivery and expect a 1 1/2-2 hour wait. read more

This pizza is good! Thin crust makes for a crunchy taste! The brick over makes the pepperoni nice and crispy! The next morning when you go get your left over out of the fridge, you'd be surprised at how good the cold pizza is. The dim lighting and toys for the kids makes for no headaches! They don't have the best restrooms, for they are small and not so nice on the eyes. read more
