Awesome pizza. Had some kind of pesto artichoke sundried tomatoes and it was fantastic. I can't remember the name of it but it was great. Crust was suspiciously buttery. I'm not making any accusations but it was delicious. Good simple family style atmosphere with a bar. Staff was very realonsive and pleasant. If I lived in Exeter I'd be here 2 times a week at least. Loved it.

This is the first review I've ever given and only doing this because of how disappointing this is. Only even doing this because this is what they call a 12pack of boneless wings... I could've had a better quality meal with some Dino-Nuggies from costco. Last time I'm ever getting wings from here again.

People were great, and the food is delicious. The environment was great, I love how local it is.

The 5 slices left of the "Small Meat Lovers" The Two slices left was a small "Small" when started Sour dough Thin Crust Wander's

The pizza's were both super yummy. The white thin crust pizza also reminded me of an IMO's pizza with the exception of the cheese.. no one has the correct cheese except the mid west. The Meat pizza had sausage literally falling off of it. Nice crust & amount of sauce, not under cooked or drowning in sauce. Pretty EPIC FOR SURE!!!

Tried Kirkman's VIP Pizza for the first time while I was in Exeter and really liked it. The place is spacious, and you order your pizza first before grabbing a seat, which was easy. They have a good selection of beers and seltzers. I ordered a medium Weldon's Garlic Chicken pizza with creamy white garlic sauce, mozzarella, mushrooms, red onions, bell peppers, and chicken, and it was really good with lots of flavor. I also tried their potato skins (baked potato shells filled with cheese) and they were so good I ordered more while waiting for the pizza. Overall, the food was really good and I was happy with everything. If I'm ever back in the area, I'd definitely come back for their pizza. If you're in Exeter, this is a spot worth trying. read more

Pizza crust isn't flavorful and barely any sauce. Not sure how they charge such high of prices. Had to drown my pizza in ranch to make it taste good. I am not sure how they have so many 5 star reviews. Maybe it's from people who haven't tried pizza out of this city? read more

Went in on a Saturday about 18 of us. We asked if they had specials was told "they had a menu" guy at the front was rude tossed our debit cards back at us after each group paid and tossed the pen as well. Young guy bringing out the pizzas was nice Half of us rushed home with upset stomachs definitely will not return. Older guy at counter should be replaced. read more

This was only my second time here. We went on the Thursday Christmas night. It was super busy at first around 5:30 so we waited and shopped around. When we got back it was still busy but there was a great place to sit. We ordered a medium combination pizza and a small pepperoni pizza. They have my favorite seltzer Dark Horse and my husband's favorite Mind Haze IPA. We really enjoyed watching the NFL game sipping our drinks until our pizza came out. The pizza is so delicious. I believe this place is just the perfect replacement for Hole in the Wall. I miss that place but this place takes the sting out of that loss. read more

The pizza's were both super yummy. The white thin crust pizza also reminded me of an IMO's pizza with the exception of the cheese.. no one has the correct cheese except the mid west. We brought our track team here after a meet at Exeter High School. From order 10+ pizzas to accommodating our group of almost 40, this place was awesome. Dakota helped us out and made everything a breeze. We called our pizzas in 45 minutes before arriving. Upon arriving all pizzas were ready to go spread out among the tables with plates and napkins for everyone in our group. Service was outstanding and the pizza was great. This is a small little cute town! The parlor has a perfect location in the little main downtown area of Exeter, CA. It's a small nook into the building, with a Ma and Pop feel. Walking in it was empty and looked very clean. Has lots of tables and seating for a small place with TV to watch sports. Staff was friendly and very welcoming. Did not take long to get our pizza. Just the pizza was disappointing. The crust had no flavor and was chewy. The cheese had a very odd taste and almost a greasy plastic like texture. Just wasn't a huge fan. Maybe it was a bad day for them. read more

Just moved to Exeter and of course I had to try the local pizza joint. We did delivery and we got our order Farley quick for being a Friday night. FOOD: 5 stars SERVICE: 2 stars We got here at 8:30 pm- we ordered small pizzas and sat down to eat them- we noticed on the doors their hours they close at 9 PM- but here they start closing earlier the open sign goes off at 8:30 and there was a group of four people that walked in about 845 and they were told that they were closed already they were not happy and they walked out- I perfectly understand are used to work in the food industry that you want to leave a soon as you can but you got a remember you are there because of the customers and if your door says you close at nine then you close at nine or used offer pizzas until that time- it's kind of rude and unprofessional- Other than that your pizzas are amazing and you just have to work on your hours if you wanna close at 8:30 then change your hours on your door- Put yourself in the customers shoes and you were sitting down eating there and they kept sleeping in and taking trash bags out and closing the signs makes you feel uncomfortable makes you feel pressured you're supposed to feel welcomed again the customer is the one I open the Wallet - read more

This is a hidden gem. We are in town for an ag expo and game here twice because the food and atmosphere was so good. Our food came out hot. Both times. The staff was great from the time you walk in the door through food service to the time you're leaving they kept coming to the table asking if there's anything else we need. Highly recommended for anybody in the extra Lane area. Check this place out family friendly. read more

This place is amazing! We tried it out after a long day in Sequoia and it definitely hit the spot. We ended up getting it 3 times out of the 6 days we were visiting. My boyfriend said this pizza was on his top 5 favorite pizzas and he's been to a lot of pizza places so that says a lot! read more

Wow!! Super impressed with the pizza, wings, and customer service. My son really wanted to eat pizza, and I love to spoil him on my days off..so we decided to stop by here coming back from Lindsay. Wings here the best I have ever had in my entire life..and I'm old! Lol. The pizza was delicious and super cheesy!! I liked that the pizza wasn't that salty and we can add our own salt. They do practice social distancing here, so be cautious if you come with a big family. I'll definitely be back to eat. read more

Lastly we got the wings and they were also good for oven baked and not fried. They were actually crispy and both the garlic parm/mango habanero sauces were tasty. We'd definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to the area!

We politely declined. The vineyard owner came over and talked to us. I politely declined again. The waitress never returned for over 10min. We hadn't even been asked about any other drinks, appetizers, specials of the house, nothing. The menu had some amazing dishes and appetizers that I am sad I wasn't able to try, but if you're going to make me feel less because I didn't have an opportunity to brush out my ponytail and change my shoes, then you're not deserving of the money we were planning on spending in your establishment. V.I.P Pizza was a WEIRD experience.There isn't much service. You just say your order quickly to prevent lagging, so there isn't much talk. I was greeted with loud music. Then, there was a bunch of people shoving each other. I got a room upstairs and a salt shaker fell from the ceiling! As I came down the stairs from a good ration of fashion bread with tomato sauce, pepperoni and melted cheese, which by the way satisfied my stomach full of space, I fell down the stairs! I was okay, no injuries. I got to say, this pizza place is not CHEEZY! Although I have to say the place is clean. There is never litter and there is a bunch of rooms upstairs, as well as a bathroom. Once entering, it looks like you are going through a hallway. The bottom floor is where some games and lots of table and chairs are located. Of course, they serve in the bottom floor. As a person who goes to Kirkman's VIP Pizza often for team celebrations, family gatherings, and just to watch big sports teams play because they always have some other team on each tv, so I really suggest you eat here if you have not yet. If you are ever in the mood to eat good pizza and watch some sports and relax that's the place to go. Out of all the pizza places I have been to I prefer to eat here. The bread is not too thick and not too thin it's cooked just right and the cheese melted on the tomato sauce is just perfect. Plus when I saw my pizza touch the ranch I started to tear up a bit not only because it was stove hot but it was just delicious and I love the ranch there. Also at VIP I suggest you get the Kay-Kay dogs they are absolutely amazing they are one of a kind. The service is fast when I walk in I always see a smile from the workers asking "How am I doing?" or "Is everything going okay?" things like that just make me feel welcomed. Here at VIP it's great food, great drinks, great games, and just great vibes what more could you ask for? read more

I really enjoy this place. The pizza is really delicious, I have tried the pepperoni, and pineapple and ham. Overall, it is the best pizza in town compared to others. Because, their crust is not hard but soft it is what makes their pizza one of its kind. The price, however can be a little pricey but knowing that they use great quality ingredients it is worth the money. During my lunch is when I go here and since I'm a high school I get a discount 2 pizzas and a soda for $5.00. I mean you can't get that anywhere else. Also,for those who are worried about the cleanliness, the restroom is very clean and everything in there clean from the tables to the floor. Also, the customer service is great except for this one time when a guy delivered pizza at my high school, and seemed very rude by just the way he acted. Other than that they have awesome customer service. But maybe he was just having a bad day like how some of us do sometimes have. Vip pizza is a great place to eat. I recommend a pepperoni pizza with extra cheese because it is always hot and cheesy and that's my favorite. Vip has great service and very friendly servers and they are always willing to get you whatever you want. Everything tastes good and you can never go wrong. The owners Kevin and Kathy Kirkman are very nice and friendly people and so are their children. Vip is a very clean place in the front and in the back as well. The servers always wash their hands before they deal with food items. The bathrooms are very clean as well. There is tons of places to sit and if you are in a wheelchair you can always sit comfortably downstairs. Its is perfect for birthday parties or any type of party because there is an abundance of space. I feel the pricing of the food and drinks is reasonable because the food has very good quality ingredients. read more

As much as I love pizza, I'm sad to say that this is a place where I wouldn't recommend eating it. As to the quality of the pizza, it is either poorly prepared or poorly cooked, because it is always cooked to an extreme.( meaning either undercooked or overcooked) The pizza is so greasy, I question whether they dip it in fat before they cook it. The crust is always undercooked, and yet the cheese is over cooked? This is just their food review also. AS to customer service, they are somewhat impatient and seem irritated at the customers at all times. The only positive thing I can say about this place is that after lunch hour ends, they will "sometimes" give you free pizza, but don't get your hope up. read more

It's hard to give a bad review for Vip Pizza when you have gone there so many times and are still impressed! The customer service is great, everyone is so friendly there. The popularity of this establishment has grown over the past 5 years by a very large margin compared to other pizza places in the Exeter area. The whole establishment is very clean and organized with many TVs that broadcast sports channels all the time. Vip is a great place to go after sports games or just to hang out with friends and family. They have a wide variety of items on their menu that are all great! The service at Vip is always so wonderful. The owner of VIP always welcomes other customers with a big friendly smile and so do the employees. The food that they serve at VIP are always served in big slices and are always delicious. Every type of pizza including: pepperoni, ham, cheese, pineapple, and sausage are very appetizing. The main room, upstairs, and bathroom are alway neat every time I eat there (which is often). The prices during the school's lunch hour is a good affordable price for students ($5 for 2 slices & a large drink) The pizza sure is worth it. Exeter has a great system of restaurant layout. The places to eat are all right on the same street. Such as VIP Pizza, their pizza is great and cheap. The lines will sometimes get long but it's worth the wait. Even the simple Shell station at the corner of E Pine St. and Kaweah Ave. has the greatest chicken strips. Most high school students can simply walk down the road and there you are. No need for driving all the time. Exeter is a great place to eat in. read more
