Too bad there wasn't a TJ Maxx here. I ended up buying Ole Henriksen makeup wipes and glam glow lip treatment. Everything I got was on clearance. My daughter got some clothes. Store was organized and the cashier was super nice and friendly. I may come back if I decide to take a road trip. Definitely worth coming here. They seem to have more in stock in this store compared to other locations I have been to. Plenty of parking up front as well!

I could see in their eyes that they had a genuine desire to help me. I stopped in to buy myself a souvenir hat from El Centro, and to browse about to see if they had anything useful for my car. The hat selection was very limited. Mostly Ball caps, and those beanies closely resembling the Old Navy watch caps. They also had a bucket hat, but it's pastel color wasn't for me. i was hopping to find a golf hat. I ended up buying a ball cap with a US flag on it and a phone holder that attaches to the mirror. This will be useful for times when I use my phone as a GPS or watching movies when parked. The gal at the checkout spoke English and checked me out quickly and accurately. I don't think she cared about me coming to Ross to buy a souvenir hat. Which I felt was a dollar more than I anticipated. The did have a better selection of men's ballcaps than Walmart had. And a far better deal on the phone holder. I probably would have shopped around a bit longer but I started getting hungry. When a i couldn't find white Fruit of the Loom briefs. I decided not to seek help with the staff since twice before I was unsuccessful at getting the help I needed, so I decided to go to Del Taco for lunch. Yes you can pay over there I paid and then as I was leaving the security guard wanted to speak to me in English and asked me for my receipt and then dug in my bag to look at the items and pull one out. never in my life have I ever experienced this. The store is large with so many different areas. And not all just for crafts. The first thing is a seasonal section-they were starting to put up Valentine's Day decorations and candies. The flower area was beautifully filled with silk and fake flowers. They had a large jewelry area with all manner for jewelry making. HINT: Sign up online for coupons. The 40% is common and I've even seen a 50% before. Also, things go on sale and clearance. Check those out! I recommend and would go back to Michael's for any decoration or craft items. The place is neat & clean and service is good. The only negative is how crazy busy they get and the line can be long-though, it does go fast!
