    Overall I had a successful trip to Ross. One thing I didn't appreciate about this El Centro…read morelocation was twice I asked for help but the staff member didn't have a clue as to what I said, or how to tell me in English what I needed to know. I could see in their eyes that they had a genuine desire to help me. I stopped in to buy myself a souvenir hat from El Centro, and to browse about to see if they had anything useful for my car. The hat selection was very limited. Mostly Ball caps, and those beanies closely resembling the Old Navy watch caps. They also had a bucket hat, but it's pastel color wasn't for me. i was hopping to find a golf hat. I ended up buying a ball cap with a US flag on it and a phone holder that attaches to the mirror. This will be useful for times when I use my phone as a GPS or watching movies when parked. The gal at the checkout spoke English and checked me out quickly and accurately. I don't think she cared about me coming to Ross to buy a souvenir hat. Which I felt was a dollar more than I anticipated. The did have a better selection of men's ballcaps than Walmart had. And a far better deal on the phone holder. I probably would have shopped around a bit longer but I started getting hungry. When a i couldn't find white Fruit of the Loom briefs. I decided not to seek help with the staff since twice before I was unsuccessful at getting the help I needed, so I decided to go to Del Taco for lunch.     Everything was fine until I got in line to pay. Then the security started pulling people from…read morebehind me speaking to them in Spanish and telling them that they could use self check out on the other side and then when I kept saying, excuse me, excuse me in English, asking if we could pay over there since he was pulling people from behind me to go to self check out he didn't answer and then another employee told me. Yes you can pay over there I paid and then as I was leaving the security guard wanted to speak to me in English and asked me for my receipt and then dug in my bag to look at the items and pull one out. never in my life have I ever experienced this. Come on El Central Ross you need to do better.

    Funny enough, after a few years this still the worst Home Depot!…read more The cashier gave me a huge attitude and walk away with our helping me! She got mad because I said if you can't make a decision or have Trouble, you can call the manager to help with the price discrepancy ! She walks away and said that "I was going to change it but you want the manager!, fine! ( with attitude) She walks away and ignored me, not even calling the manager. I have to demand her give me the manager. I am told that this is the training provided that all cashier gets when is regarding a price challenge of $.30, have the customer to walked back and not offering the actual advertised price. She made me like a thief or liar, just can't believe that Home Depot doesn't value us as customer. It does made me rethink that we can go somewhere else what has price more accurate to avoid future dispute. Not just the store manager needs to aware of this but it's district manager, this is a small town that many people wouldn't complaint and stay quiet but I wouldn't! I want to make sure your management team understands this frustration! I could have just left and paid the $.30 cents but I just think this is unfair and it's a good try to see if the store has good customer services.. i guess not....

    Their third party installation service told me they would be to my house in 10 minutes at 1:05 pm…read more At 1:38pm they asked of they could have another ten minutes. No, problem as I have worked in customer service and understand that things easily go wrong. Two hours later they showed up. One employee asked where the metal hoses were for my pedistal washer, I explained he never left nor mentioned those (mind you, he said he the metal peices to the hoses for the big washer were corroded and he would have to re-schedule the installation. Still, not a problem so I got it fixed). When they areived I asked that when they need to go in/out of my back gate to please make sure it was closed because of my dogs got out they would run away. I had to remind them three more time because the gate was wide open. The fourth time I found the gate open I told them that this time one of them could shut it. One of them looked right at me and locked the gate while saying he did not know how to do it. That being said, the sales and management team were awesome. If you buy from Home Depot ask for Hilda. Of there is a problem the manager I dealt with was Linda. Amazing customer service!
