3.5 stars overall. Not much available on Route 66 other than your usual fast-food OR heavy meat-laden restaurants. At least you can find lighter fare here. The pork and shrimp salad rolls were very fresh and extremely large. A spotlessly clean restaurant, restrooms and utensils. The protein in both our phõs were plentiful as in enough for two persons (each) and way too many rice noodles. Broth had a weak, barely fragrant aroma and tasted almost sweet, to us - in short: a weak, slightly sweet, diluted, watery disaster. Service was grumpy and abrupt. Miserable vibes. It served it's need.

Vegetarian Pho

Clean, friendly little spot right off Route 66. Walked in around 4:45 PM on a Wednesday and were happy to find it already buzzing, always a good sign. We ordered the Vegetarian Pho on the strength of another Yelp reviewer's tip, and it was a knockout. Huge bowl, honestly more than one person could finish. Loaded with broccoli, mushrooms, carrots, baby corn, sweet onion, scallions, and cilantro in a clean, fragrant broth. It came with a generous side of bean sprouts, Thai basil, lime, and jalapeño. Table sauces were fish sauce, soy, Sriracha, and hoisin. We also split two of their spring rolls with tofu and dipped them in the sweet chili. Light, crisp, just right. Would absolutely come back. If you're rolling through Kingman and want a clean, vegetarian-friendly meal, Kino Kitchen is well worth the stop. Quality food, real care.

The shaking beef with pasta

The shaking beef with pasta was really good . The meat was done just right, the taste was fantastic. The pasta was made well, texture was soft. All of this combined with the veggies made it a great dish. Pho and tofu spring rolls were also really good.

Singapore Rice Noodles with Tofu + Veggies: 10/10!

I tried the Singapore Noodles and my husband ordered Waffle Fries via DoorDash. The food arrived under 20 minutes as promised. The flavor of the Singapore Noodles was delicious. The curry powder, spicy level, fluffy egg was spot on with the rice noodles! I ordered mine with tofu and veggies, the entire dish was tasty and I'm happy to have more than enough for leftovers. I also got to try some of my husband's Waffle Fries ( not pictured ). We both enjoyed it. It was crispy perfection with perfect seasoning. I plan on visiting this restaurant and dining in!

Beef Pho/ Bo (don't recommend, broth is flavorless and almost colorless..)

What happened.. Did they change their chef? After this visit we will not be returning. If you have an itch for Vietnamese food, this will not scratch it. Beef Pho -meat wasn't the issue as you can't really mess that up. The broth was disgusting. Broth tasted like tap water and flavor wasn't there either, bland. Imagine a good pho broth but you take an eighth of the broth and mix the rest with tap water. Even the color of broth went from deep tan (last visit) color to almost colorless. Egg drop soup was just egg in corn starch water. Side of wonton chips were quite burnt. Mongolian Bbq Pork - Bbq pork itself was flavorful but tough. Seemed like they just tossed protein into sweet sauce. Sauce had no flavor either.

The place was recommended by a friend. Definitely will be coming here again. It's late afternoon and the place is filling up! Was greeted at the door and seated. Was thinking this would be like a fast food restaurant from the looks of the outside. Small but nice and clean. We both ordered the Phó, delicious! The food, atmosphere and staff were authentic. If you like this type of cuisine it's a must try!

Lemon Grass with Shrimp

This was our third time dining at Kino Kitchen and unfortunately each time has been progressively worse. I like to try new dishes and this time I opted for the Red Curry with shrimp and vegetables. I asked the waitress if it was a light sauce with red curry paste, because there was no description. She said yes and that they could make it spicy, so I went with it. Unfortunately when my food arrived I was disappointed to see that the sauce was the consistency of gravy, it lacked flavor and spice as well. I actually ended up giving most of my dinner to my fiance because it was that bland, even with heaps of sriracha and some chili garlic paste they gave me. My fiance ordered the short ribs and while he liked the flavor, he felt the portion was tiny and the meat was fatty. Another member of our party ordered a dish without onion and it took 3 attempts for the dish to be made properly. Our first visit here was great, but this might be our last.

Chicken Pho

My family and I stopped for dinner on our Route 66 journey. We were craving Asian food. We decided to give Kino Kitchen a try. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious! We had the Papaya Salad, Chicken Pho and Shrimp with Lobster Sauce. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. We would be regulars here if we lived in Kingman.

Over priced. Food is good. Got egg rolls, pho and a ice tea. $30.00 food was good. Prices I have an issue with.

Food was pretty good. Would recommend the spring rolls and pho. Stir fry used too much cornstarch.

You can really tell they care about quality and keeping customers happy. The ambiance is one of the things that keeps me coming back too -- clean, relaxed, and welcoming without trying too hard. Whether you're stopping in for a quick bite or sitting down with friends and family, the atmosphere always feels comfortable. The staff has always been friendly and attentive, which makes the experience even better. It's hard to find spots that stay this consistent over time, but they've honestly earned my support from the start.

After this last visit, I don't think I'll be back unfortunately. I ordered a pho with meatballs without onions and my bf ordered a chicken noodles dry with no chives which comes with a side of chicken broth. The chicken broth was flavorful and my bowl of pho was decent. As my bf started eating his food, he pulls out a piece of hair that was in his food. He let one of the employees know and they told him that they'll make another one for him. They come out again with the new dish and it this time, it had chives in it. At this point, my bf lost his appetite already and we were ready to leave. Service was lacking. You need to flag someone down to help you or refill your drinks. It wasn't busy when we were there. There was one other table and our waters weren't refilled and we weren't asked about how's the food or how we were doing. It was a letdown since I really wanted to like it and it was close by the neighborhood. But from our experience with the food and lack of service, we will head somewhere else.

It's not too common for a restaurant to have this as an option either! It's one of the more traditional types of Vietnamese sandwich and has Vietnamese style cold cuts/deli meat and pâté. The sandwiches are always super fresh and are a good portion size. The baguette is always super light, crispy, and fresh. I've also tried the grilled pork sandwich and it's also very good. The meat is super flavorful, tender, and fresh. The veggies inside the sandwich make it a great meal. I always make a point to stop you when I'm on this side of town. Service was ok, especially for how slow and empty the restaurant was when we arrived. The timing of the food was poorly managed. My wife's entree came out far before mine, and she had already finished eating before my dish even arrived. Also, while she was still eating her egg rolls, the server brought over the rice paper with hot water in a plastic container and placed it right next to her plate mid-meal. The service felt unorganized and awkward overall. The egg rolls tasted like they had been refried. The veggies and herbs looked stale and close to going bad. The vermicelli with pork patties had a very small amount of meat and tasted like it had been reheated in the microwave. The hot water served for rice paper came in a plastic containers, "Hot water in plastic". The peanut sauce also had an unusual coconut flavor that did not taste right. We also ordered the Vietnamese crepe. It was burnt, the pork tasted awful, and the shrimp was overcooked. Again, the vegetables and herbs did not taste fresh. The fish sauce dip was probably the only thing that tasted decent. Sadly, this place is not what it used to be. This place is now on our "Do not eat at" list.
