I wish yelp had the ability to give zero stars. After 4 visits and maybe 2 follow ups,I still have a bed bug issue. After the first few visits,I thought the problem was solved. Incorrect. A few months later I had more of the pests,after another visit. Nothing is resolved. The exterminators are very nonchalant. Don't wear masks,spray while you're near the vicinity of the "chemicals" On the phone while working. Have to be told what to do,don't flip furniture over. I requested for them to use stronger chems,seems like it's all a joke. I paid basically $700 for just glue traps. If I want a monthly visit,it's $50. Not worth the money at all. I rarely make reviews. Only ever when I have a positive experience. but this just needs to be shared. This compAnies lack of communication is extremely absurd! They send employees out to your house and they have zero knowledge of what the issue is about. Resulting in the customer having to catch you up to speed. Respectfully that is not my issue to catch your team up to speed with what is going on with my property. They should know WHAT TO DO , when they get to the property. Better systems need to be put in place that are effective to avoid these type of issues from happening. They then send completely incompetent employees to do the job and just look at you like you have the answers. How do you come to a job without a ladder?! I've never had such a horrific experience before with an extermination company. pay attention to the reviews people. They also made up lies on my housemate and I advising that we refused service when YOUR COMPANY, did not know how to communicate well and didn't TELL YOUR STAR EMPLOYEE, to bring the appropriate tools with him for the job. This is a company that might be serviceable when it comes simple issues but they're communication and management is terrible and my experience with them resulted in me looking for a new company. If this is a family owned operation with 30 years of service, they're handling of my account was a complete fail. I hired them to address an issue for my tenants who spotted a cockroach. The exterminators came in twice as part of their extermination. I asked them to give me an assessment for rats because we may have them in a vacant store on the first floor of the building but I wasn't sure. I wanted them to assess. After their visits, I called and asked them for a follow up conversation so I could see what they found. The rep initially said, they did their job, what else did I need to know? It took me a few times of being firm until she had the exterminator call me. The technician then called me but our conversation resulted in him shouting at me over the phone, saying he couldn't be expected to remember all of his visits. I called the office to see if there were notes on the building/visit. I spoke with Waheed at the office who, after a series of exchanges of him and I arguing over the phone, told me, I had paid for two visits, why did they need to call me to tell me that I have rats. Really? This is a professional extermination company? I paid $300 for servicing. The least they can do is provide information with relative ease but instead I got a sense that what I paid for was the service I received. This is really a strange business practice. He finally recommended I do a monthly service to take care of the rats. Now why would I continue to hire their company after my experience with them? I was argued with and yelled at by 3 employees of this company. That doesn't make me stupid enough to hire them again. Stay clear and read other reviews. read more

The exterminators were very friendly, but after FOUR visits, I still have the same problem. Luckily, I wasn't charged for the follow up visits. But that said, I am very frustrated. It's not like I had this raging infestation. I am seeing bugs onesies and twosies. But it just won't go away. I can't understand why. One thing is that they don't really give you information. Whatever I ask, they say "it's up to you." I AM NOT AN EXTERMINATOR. I say, "Should I empty out the drawers every time?" They say, "It's up to you." Should I spray the whole house or just the bedroom? "It's up to you;" I AM NOT AN EXTERMINATOR. I'm going with another company because I can't afford this if it's not going to work. UPDATE: I hired another company and the difference was unbelievable The new exterminator turned the furniture upside down and lo and behold... there was the source. So I am now doubly disgusted with Kingsway. FOUR treatments and they didn't properly treat the furniture. After the furniture was treated, the problem went away. read more

I have used them twice over the span of several years to treat a squirrel problem. I was impressed with their professionalism and most importantly--their one way traps and sealing job worked!! No more squirrels! Very pleased. I just called them for a nice infestation. Will see if they handle as well but expect good results. read more

The exterminators are very friendly, I'll give them that. That's why it's one star and no stars. However, the rest of the service is abysmal. My slumlords are cheap and use this company to take care of roaches, earwigs, flies, mice, rats, and most recently bed bugs. So far, none of them have gone away, except for the mice and rats which I ended up taking care of myself. This company's idea of bed bug treatment is also terrible. They SPRAY the furniture with some sort of pesticides and then come back and spray again, without going into the walls or floor or considering that there may in fact be bed bugs that don't live on the outside of a mattress. I don't see how any company can call such a sorry excuse of pesticides from a can a "bed bug removal service," especially because I still have bed bugs, worse than ever. read more

No stars. My landlord hired this company to treat our bed bug problem. We had them come in three times. Each time it was clear that the exterminator was untrained. He didn't know what chemicals he was using, did not wear a mask, and even started spraying when I was still in the apartment. No surprise that our problem continued and even spread into a different room. Using a different company now and praying for the nightmare to be over. read more

The exterminator refused to give me the price before performing the job and told me he had to call the office but after he finished he took out of his pocked an invoice with price in it. the service was terrible. no explanations about what to do afterwards if i could clean or air out the room he sprayed. The company offered to send someone else to do the job again - not sure what would that do. I asked for a discounted price but they refused. they are not honest and i definitely do not recommend them. Not professional at all. Stay away. read more

Hired this company to conduct a pest inspection and conduct treatment at my home as necessary. I looked it up online and made a phone call. The staff on the phone were very polite and helpful, explained what the inspection will cover, and arranged for the inspection to be conducted promptly as I requested. The inspector was professional and thorough and I received complete reports by email the next day with a follow-up call from customer service to discuss the results of the inspection and what my options are. I chose to go with one of the services that they provide. The applicator arrived on time and applied the products as discussed with the company's staff on phone. Payment were no hassle and were done on phone using my credit card. The cost of their services were very reasonable. Terrible, terrible service and even WORSE customer service: DO NOT use this company for your extermination. In our case, the people who schedule the exterminations on the phone gave us conflicting information and offered different services, with different prices, to different members of our co-op. All apartments in the same building had the same problem but different treatments were suggested, with a several hundred dollar price difference. When we called to talk to the manager to discuss, he was incredibly rude and refused to acknowledge that this was a problem and definitely made no apology or attempt to address it. Instead, he attacked and berated us for even suggesting that this was a problem. Very poor value to price ratio. The manager knows nothing about how to keep his customers happy and doesn't actually seem to care. He definitely did not take steps to win back our business. I agree with so many of the other reviewers here -- that the people who come out to do the service are very nice -- hence the star. But they are a total rip-off. read more
