As someone relatively new to NYC, I had never before lived in a place where I had to get pest…read morecontrol services. I was stressed out about the increasing roach activity at my place but was skeptical about effectiveness of hiring an exterminator. Given the price of Top Notch Pest Control, I had high expectations. Robert, the technician, came out to my place twice, once for the initial treatment and again for a follow-up. After the follow-up, the activity had gone down so much, more than I expected. Additionally, Robert provided great tips for prevention, was pleasant to talk with, and made a stressful situation much easier to go through. While I don't have other pest control services to compare with Top Notch, they do seem to do quality work, if all of their technicians are like Robert. Thank you!

Before deciding on this company, I called two other local companies, both of which were expensive and were insisting upon a canine inspection. After reading other 5-star reviews for Northeastern Exterminating, I decided to give them a call, and I'm glad I did. I explained my issue to Joe, who worked to calm my nerves about this situation and thoroughly explained everything that would occur with his company's home inspection, to be performed by his son, James. I wanted an appointment ASAP, and although Joe could only offer me an appointment for several days later, he assured me that he would keep my number at the ready just in case they had a cancellation. The night before my inspection, I received a text message from James confirming the time he would arrive, the price that was agreed upon, and simple instructions for how to prep for the inspection. The next morning, I received another text about an hour before the scheduled time to pinpoint the exact time he would be arriving - which is insanely helpful and courteous. Upon arrival, right on time, James asked me about my situation and immediately got to work performing a thorough and comprehensive inspection of the three bedrooms in my house, from floor to ceiling. The bed, box springs, bed frames, baseboards, etc. everything was carefully inspected while he explained what he was doing, what he was looking for, and even what I could do in the future to put my mind at ease. He made sure to look at everything I asked him to, and could not have been more easygoing and professional. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Prompt, affordable, knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. On top of that, they are a family-run business, which is always a good thing. Give them a call and you will not be disappointed.

Don talked my husband through some steps we could take to try and plug any holes and fix the issue on our own if we wanted to but after finding a few more bugs we decided to make an appointment to have professionals help. Lauren stopped by, did a thorough check of our whole apartment, and ended up calling in someone else to bring additional materials to help ensure our problems were solved. Both she and her husband (it's a family business!) did a great job explaining what they were doing, what they were using, and answer any questions we had. The traps they leave behind and poison they use are childproof and pet safe, and also placed in ways to limit chances of small kids or pets to even get to them. Their fee was incredibly reasonable, they're communicative, and I finally feel like I can sleep a little easier. They'll be coming back to check-in in a few weeks to make sure there are no new signs of anything and discuss any next steps as needed but we are feeling optimistic and taken care of by friendly, reasonable professionals. Very much recommend them!
