This was NOT user error, or trying to scam a free spot. I even offered to send them the invoice from the Veterinarian as proof that I was supposed to be in the garage. PLUS they had less than 10% of the spots being used so it is not as if I was taking a spot from a paying customer. There were literally over a 100 open spots.

Love the comfy seats and those with a table to get some work done on a laptop with power outlets really help. Swiping the Orca card at the post before and after boarding is super easy. Over 200 parking spots are at this station for just the Sounder, not the ferry. There are no other services available at the station but there are restaurants nearby. The ferry is just around the corner.

My first introduction with the competition space was when I was a little girl and my soccer team volunteered to be ball girls for the high school girl's soccer team game(s). We would run and retrieve the ball for the players when it went too far out of bounds. Running track and field here consisted of two types: 1) practice and 2) competition. It was a nice venue for both, especially practice. At the time, the high school did not have a track with marked lines, so training here allowed us to practice running turns with a waterfall start and improve upon maintaining lane positioning while running. I ran middle distance and fortunately the sprinters and hurdlers had a different starting area that did not conflict with my training group practicing our starts. Throwers and jumpers had their own areas as well. It was fun to have practices and competitions where different disciplines could be active at the same time.

I have been familiar with the City of Edmonds for approximately the 30+ years of my existence. One…read moreof my grandmothers lived here first with a house, then as she aged a condominium unit. In addition to visiting her and the corresponding local adventures, my family had a boat for a few years that we stored in the driveway, but put in/took out of the water at Edmonds Marina. Restaurants near the marina and near Edmonds bowl/Downtown Edmonds were staples of my upbringing. The shops were also child-friendly growing up. My parents, grandma, sister, and I all liked the toy shop(s), kitchen shop(s), and a travel shaped called the Savvy Traveler. Salon 512 was where I got my haircut for several years (though when I was really young, my mom cut my bangs at home). I went to summer camps at the Anderson Center. As part of the summer camps we walked around Edmonds to different places, including walking to Yost Pool so we could go swimming. As a family, we went to Edmonds Driftwood Players Theater performances (stage) and routinely saw movies at Edmonds Theater (cinema). All of these experiences helped make Edmonds feel like an extension of home, we lived to the south in Shoreline. The City of Edmonds remains a place I continue explore with enjoyable experiences spanning a variety of business types. Traffic tends not to be too bad, as long as not during peak hours, and street parking is abundant though can fill up quickly.
