Nice modern library with easy parking. There is a food shopping plaza adjacent to the library. The library looks fairly new.

I personally will always have a special place in my heart for this library…read more This library is huge and easily accessible by bus and has plenty of free parking. The staff is always helpful and friendly when I have questions or need help. It's also always warm inside the library which is nice for those looking for a warm place to sit and read or charge a phone. I love the upstairs area where there are more computers and printers and plenty of comfy seating! I always find myself returning to this library or going out of my way to stop by here so I definitely do recommend!

Don't take advantage of it, ya'll, I mean don't take advantage of it in a bad way - we need this to stay; and the parking lot is gigantic. I had no idea the last time I came. This time I delved down below and yikes! It was almost a little scary lol. Gigantic tunnel of parking - and crazily busy all of the sudden as Sunday got later - maybe students crash studying for Monday. Okay enough about the parking. Love the art, both the public and the student art pasted inside. Meeting spaces, event space. The library itself is down the rather cavernous hallway - the library itself feels pretty gigantic; enjoyed browsing the suggested new titles on offer. The used book store appendage outside the main doors was open this time around during my visit. I wish they took more than just cash or check. Could not partake : ( I saw tons of appealing books and also they had puzzles and puzzle books. A great place to spend a couple of hours in Bellevue.

I was in Redmond and decided to stop by to try to get a library card for the King County Library…read moreSystem, and it worked! A section with a few computers near the entrance is dedicated to applying for a new library card and you'd have to fill out an application on a website on the computer. Then, you go up to the librarians to have your application processed. The librarian was very detail oriented and friendly, I loved talking to her. The library is medium sized, not too big for a library, but still felt wide and spacious. There is AC and I like that there is a bus stop right outside so that I can comfortably wait for the bus that takes me home.

And it was a solid library with books to explore and purchase. The Redmond library is located across from city hall and is walking distance to the Redmond Transit Center. When I visited on a Friday afternoon the library was quiet and did not have as many people here as the Bellevue location normally has, which was nice. When you enter the library, there are shelves near the entrance for books to purchase from the Friends of the Library sale, which is worth a gander for some really cheap deals. I was easily able to return books and browse through the selection, as the different sections were easy to find and there was ample seating. Not far from where I work out, I'll make Redmond library an option for when I need to return or pick up books.

I attended both undergrad and graduate school here at NU in their night program. What a relief! In…read morethe Seattle area, it can be difficult to find a good school to attend at night. Work my day job and school one night a week. It's an adjustment at first, but the professors and students I have met during my time at NU are lifelong friends and I couldn't have been happier about the experience. Campus: Located in Kirkland, it has a really fun, "cozy" campus. Lots of green trees and grass. Some of the buildings are out-dated, but I think they have been working on updating a lot of them. They have this really new cool architecture building for health and sciences. Really state-of-the-art! Only complaint is that the campus is rather dark at night (walk with a buddy), but that's not NU's fault, I guess the city restricts them from putting up a lot of light poles because the neighbors complained about ambient light...something like that. Parking: Ample parking for when I was going to class, not sure about during the day. Professors: Genuinely interested in your future. Having attended a number of schools and colleges, this was the first university to invest this much into my future. For me having professors with real-world experience was really important. I am so sick of professors who learned everything through a book and then think they are now the subject matter experts. NU doesn't operate under that M'O', all the professors who taught are classes were certifiably subject matter experts. Many of them are still employed by major fortune 500 companies and teach adjunct every once and awhile. Really brings that networking and connections into the classroom. Security: Always patrolling and friendliest campus security you will find. Always waving and answering questions, they seem to know a lot of faculty and students by name too. They even have a pretty sweet hipster security car! Sports: I didn't participate in any sports while I was at NU, but there's a reason the Seahawks used NU's fields to practice for years. They do have good sports facilities. BTW: The best part? Frisbee-Golf course on campus. 5 Stars right there. In conclusion, this is just my experience, take a tour, check it out for yourself.

Spirit filled and led. The professors have said to invite the Holy Spirit into your homework (the…read morebible can be used in all classes not just biblical), they encourage and look for honor that is biblical and sets high standards of integrity. It is a CHRISTIAN school that submits to Jesus and does not conform. Now not one person on this planet is perfect and we should make room for each other's mistakes and that is biblical and we have all made our share of grievances Lord knows I have but all in all this school really does have the heart of God written into its DNA and I highly recommend if you are looking for your education to have a firm unshakable foundation.

Good hours. A neighborhood branch. Very friendly staff. Surprisingly interesting content,…read moreespecially for a small library.

Wonderful, neighborhood library in Madrona…read more I visited the Madrona library to pass some time with reading, until my volunteer shift at the nearby school. I was surprised to find how small this library is, as it truly serves those in the Madrona neighborhood. There are only a few tables for reading in the back end of the library with a small help/informational desk and another to check out books. Although it's a small library, it's mighty! I was impressed with the selection of books, given the size of this location. It highlighted many non-fiction reads that are very popular, that had me tempted to check out! I would say though, that the best selection at this library is the children's section. Tons and tons of picture books for the little ones are found here, along with a decent DVD collection. Seems to be fitting of the clientele. If I was in the Madrona neighborhood I would totally be happy, coming here for books and exploring. Plus, one of the best perks of the Seattle Public Library System is that you can reserve books from other branches and have it sent to any of the locations, so the choosing for Madrona residents isn't really an issue, as long as users are utilizing their services online. Just remember, this library is closed on Fridays.
