Came here to study today. Unfortunately most of the library areas were closed due to construction and reduced services. You could still work with the librarians to check out books though. Good thing the meeting rooms and restrooms on the first floor were still open! Free wifi that I could connect to without a password was greatly appreciated. Parking was easy as there was a parking garage for the library. Visitors could park for 4 hrs for free.

REVIEW in COVID times: after a year of being closed, Bellevue library finally has resumed services and opened doors to public. Masks are required. OMG. If you have children you HAVE to check the children renovated area. These guys have done an amazing job. It's on the 3rd floor so you don't have to be totally quiet with your little ones, they have a wonderful study area, In general Bellevue Library is one of my favorite ones from the king county. The architecture is a master piece, my favorite part is the parking lot, in one side you can see a collection of black and white plates, combined with colorful plates; and then you can also fond a vertical garden (specially in spring when it's in full bloom) Staff is super courteous and friendly, always willing to help. Even if the library is open to public most of the events are being held virtually (BTW these events are free and quite usefulness fun)

6 stars world class library! Certainly beautiful and interesting architecture the upper level of the parking lot has awesome and incredible views of the Bellevue Skyline!

I really appreciated how mindful the spaces were set up to be spacious and easy to focus. The library itself is fairly new and has a wonderful interior. I plan to come back to spend more time here. There is an attached garage where library visitors can park. At the time of this review, visitors are able to park up to 4 hours onsite.

It's a really nice facility and maintained well. I like the cleanness of the surroundings and the open space. There's also plenty of room to sit, and there's even conference rooms to use to study. That's great for studying with a group. However, I'm docking off a star for my experience in the upstairs bathroom. It makes me sad that there's a place to put needles, but I understand it's because it's a public library. However, that isn't kid friendly. Also, the stalls were super gross upstairs in the bathroom and I didn't enjoy that. Other than that one part, it is maintained well.

What a beautiful library this is! Plenty of parking, and under a large cover to keep patrons out of the elements! Huge interior, spacious, light-filled, and full of books for everyone. The third floor has recently, from what I understand, been added or redone to offer an entire floor to children. Books aplenty! Seating aplenty! Computers, too, available on each floor. What a great space! I can't wait to go back.

Beautiful library with lots of study rooms and computers. The book selection was great and the librarians were very helpful. Love that theres so much parking available, and I'm looking forward to bringing my kid to check out the large children's section. They even have a snack bar! 10/10, very much looking forward to making visits here a part of our regular routine.

I came to Bellevue library on Wednesday afternoon. Parking lots are very tight and busy..... Parking garage is cool designed outside the walls. It's a very clean and wide space of entrance. And another welcome door to go inside the info desk and 1F and 2F. I wanted to use my PC to some work. I looked around desks and tables....There are quite a lot of people. I found that kinda personal desk, each desks separated and look like a office desk. I stayed 2hr & half. It was a very good environment and everybody try to keep quiet. But I heard phone ringing very loud and message sounds....plz no sound mode. Other than I wanna coming back again

There is a great space for children to explore the books.

The library has a lot to offer. We are able to find books we enjoy. It is also easy to reserve books if they do not have them at that location, or you can see at what library it is available in the King County system. The hours on Friday and Saturday are the one thing I am disappointed by, six seems too early to close. The staff is helpful and the facility is nice.

We walked to the library, so there weren't any parking problems. Nice space with trees and benches outside the library, so it was nice to use this area while looking at our reading materials. Children's area is separate, on the 3rd floor.

I was looking for a specific reference book so I came here to check it out. Its probably one of the nicer libraries around. Good amount of parking with a parking garage, on the edge of downtown Bellevue so its nice its not near Lincoln Square area. Nice designs & decor all around, quiet library, people actually read and study here and not loiter and sit around talking, clean restrooms that are outside of the main library area so you dont hear the flushing, a good amount of conference rooms, computers etc. Staff was helpful that will actually help you find the book you are looking for versus just pointing you to the general area to go to. A good library to go to if Im ever back in the Bellevue area.

A section with a few computers near the entrance is dedicated to applying for a new library card and you'd have to fill out an application on a website on the computer. Then, you go up to the librarians to have your application processed. The librarian was very detail oriented and friendly, I loved talking to her. The library is medium sized, not too big for a library, but still felt wide and spacious. And it was a solid library with books to explore and purchase. The Redmond library is located across from city hall and is walking distance to the Redmond Transit Center. When I visited on a Friday afternoon the library was quiet and did not have as many people here as the Bellevue location normally has, which was nice. When you enter the library, there are shelves near the entrance for books to purchase from the Friends of the Library sale, which is worth a gander for some really cheap deals. I was easily able to return books and browse through the selection, as the different sections were easy to find and there was ample seating. Not far from where I work out, I'll make Redmond library an option for when I need to return or pick up books.

I'm not a fan of parking garages. The library itself is spacious and very open. The high ceilings and bright natural lights greet you as you walk through the door. There are plenty of rooms for studying/conferences. The librarian is so helpful. There isn't enough self checkout computers. Also, they close early on the weekdays (I think 5pm). Bummed that they don't have handy little paper/pencils to jot the codes (location) down near the lib catalogs. My old dementia brain can't remember anything. I have to say, the staff at this library set the bar HIGH for KCLS - engaging my children (even the shy one glued to my leg) in what they like to read, finding books for them that they haven't read before but match some of their interests and validating their opinions about the books they were reading. They also ran a tight ship organizing a popular summer lunch program. On this particular day, there weren't enough bag lunches for the number of people who came - but they scrambled and arranged for more. Wish we lived closer so we could enjoy this beautiful community more!
