When we first moved here we went down to get library cards. As an avid reader it was a must. The staff were really nice, the building was clean and really open, and also had a huge selection. I'll admit I didn't explore much because I don't read a lot of physical books. I mostly use hoopla and Libby apps with my library cards and take advantage of the audiobooks and kindle options. I will say I've used a lot of libraries all over the country and this one has one of the best selections I've seen for their online catalog.

I love this library! One of the largest libraries around with a high quality collection of books. It's always well organized and very clean. Multiple checkout stations, but just one check-in station. There's a Amazon esque book pick-up option too. Loved the children's area here. They have variety of fiction & non-fiction for all ages and play area. Kids love this. They spent an hour here reading books and playing. Loved the non-fiction section for adults here - plenty to explore and learn. There are many computer stations you can use here, though I hardly use them. Staffs are amazing and very helpful. They are keen on addressing any concerns and absolutely make sure it's resolved in the best possible way. Plenty of parking for the patrons. Never had any trouble finding one even on a busy day. Only one thing I would like to improve here - add some baskets for picking up books. It's handy when you pick up more than 25-30 books at a time.

Drop off, pick up. This location is fairly close to my workplace so I often come by to drop off some items to avoid the dreaded 10 cent per day fine. It's an older, single story building which can be a bit difficult to access. It's now tucked away behind a big apartment building and there is ongoing construction which makes access to the parking lot a little difficult for the time being. Hopefully the construction will end up making it a little easier to get in and out. It's a nice little library with a few comfortable reading (napping) chairs that always seem to be full when i visit.

The Bothell Library was my go-to library until they closed for remodeling. For a while, I had to go to the Kenmore Library, which is less convenient, smaller and has limited parking. I'm very happy to see my neighborhood Bothell Library open again for business! Although it seemed to have taken a while to complete, they did a great job on the renovation! Library is appealing on many levels and looks shiny new. There is a large parking lot which allows more patrons to utilize this location. I particularly enjoy that Bothell has two outside self check in book drops with 5 minute parking right in front. Super convenient. There is also another book self drop inside in the lobby. This previous visit, I had a book hold transferred over to the Bothell location specifically so I could peek inside and see the renovations. A Welcome Information desk is located right as you walk in and was staffed by two librarians. The Check Out was to the right which was also staffed and self check out had many scanners available to get in and out conveniently. I was greeted by friendly faces and offered endless help. I picked up my "hold book" and checked out seamlessly. The Children's section looked inviting and had quite a bit of titles and a specific reading nook area set aside for story time. A nice perk for parents to select books and not have children running about. I'm happy to see the Bothell Library open once again. With all of the renovations happening in downtown Bothell, the Library will also have its own fresh coat of paint.

The reading programs for kids here are excellent, and the staff picks and new-book displays are also really good. But the librarians don't shush people in this library, and as a result, it's more like a Barnes & Noble (which are too LOUD) than a proper library (which should be a quiet place to read and think). I've taken away a star because of the non-hushed ambiance. Otherwise, it's the standard well-thought-out King County Library of the newer type -- think high ceilings, lots of light, modern architecture. I wish they were open more hours.

It's at a good location. The collection is fine. But you can always request for books from online.

Nice library; very well organized; reserve a book online and it shows up a few days later; same with movies.

Coming to Kenmore Library today, Monday 23 October 2023, looking for a book to read, I pulled in…read moreoff of Northeast 181st Street to find a packed parking strip on the side of the building. I was like, oh no... where am I supposed to park. Continuing forwards in my vehicle I noticed a slanted drive down under the library building on the left. Then I noticed a sign with an arrow indicating parking. So, I followed the drive in and parked in the garage under the building. An elevator was available to take one up to/down from the library entryway. I took it on the way up, and during my one floor elevator ride remembered I did not like elevators, so I might walk around like I drove into the garage when I went back to my car. Getting off the elevator in the entryway with doors on each side of me, one to the street and one into the library, I entered the library through the door(s) going that way. The interior of the library initially felt small and a librarian was at their station by the entry/exit. Other librarian(s) were about in the library around the shelves. A number of people were sitting on chairs/couches in the library reading books. The chairs/couches were well placed throughout the library as were tables. Each section, such as teen, non-fiction, magazines, etc., was well labeled. Study rooms were open/available for use if wanting a quiet place to close the door and work on something. I was specifically looking for something in the tune of business. The different non-fiction categories were diverse in offerings. I ended up going with a book about putting ideas into action. Different libraries in the King County Library System tend to have different business offerings, and I found the marketing/thought process focus at this library refreshing. Self check out stations were located near the entrance/exit by the librarians' stations. The librarians I interacted with were warm in demeanor. On my way out, I opted to walk back to my car instead of taking the elevator. I found there was even a sidewalk down to the garage. All around I enjoyed my experience.

Small footprint, but close to USPS and City Hall. Parking is not plentiful and it seems as tho the 5 minute "book drop off" spaces are always full. Kenmore is more of a satellite location, than a full size public library. I reluctantly used this library for a while when the Bothell Library was being remodeled. Staff has always been nice in Kenmore, but it lacks the size and amenities of Bothell. It was easy to place books on hold online to pick up and check out at the self-service kiosks. But if you want full service, Kenmore is not your library.

I was immediately greeted by the folks at the middle desk and as I studied I could hear them kindly checking in on others and helping out. They're friendly here, I definitely loved the vibe. I chose a large table in the fiction section where there was a magical looking Hobbit painting and giant windows on the sides. Even on a cloudy day these windows provide a lot of natural light and it's a motivating spot to sit and get work done. You can even sit at the window sill and really enjoy the light. I was happy to find my table had an outlet on the desk for convenience but there are also outlets laid out everywhere. A huge plus! The computer areas are also scattered throughout instead of it being a large area where you have to sit with everyone and I thought that was pretty cool. Another plus for the study room fully equipped! However, online it says they're currently not available but I'm looking forward to it opening back up!
