I have used this company for many years to service my driveway in snow removal for our vacation home. They have never let me down . They work through the night while most families are asleep to make sure your driveway is open for going to work or taking your kids to school . In my case to not make it look like I'm not living there full time . I get the total number of times plowed with an end of month bill. Never have I had an issue . Great customer service, results, and price! Surprised to find icy, packed snow covering the weekend cabin driveway, the teens and I faced a daunting shoveling job. A quick online search led to Kingpin, so I called and talked to Christina. They were busy but hoped to get thru their pending jobs within an hour. When one cancelled they were at our place within minutes for a free estimate, which was much less than expected! Their pro equipment looked highly capable. I don't know why some people have given them such poor reviews, but my experience has been exactly the opposite. They are always very kind, very reasonable, very responsive. They have helped me out so many times and never did I feel overcharged or taken advantage of even in high demand times. I cannot express how grateful I am for the help that they have provided. I'm sure in some circumstances communication was lost somewhere. I have never had any problem communicating with them or getting the help I needed at a very reasonable cost. I would like to start off by saying that the two owners of this company are trash. I have recently seen the kingpin (name says it all) driver (owner) driving unsafe. After witnessing this and seeing comments on Facebook, as well as seeing the owners terrible responses, I would never recommend people use their services. People have been complaining about their work and unsafe driving. Instead of handling in a respectful manner, they talk back to people. This owner thinks he is the king of pollock pines. He should be thankful to his customers and respectful to the residents. Go back to San Jose. So unprofessional, cussing at people, driving unsafe, and doing terrible work. Update: thanks king Robert for your reply. Residents are complaining about your employees and you driving unsafe. And your response, as any bad businessman would reply, is that you won't take shit from anyone? That just goes to show your amazing ethics. Beware of this establishment! Their website says: "Whether you're looking for one-time berm removal, daily driveway clearing, or full-scale snow removal, KingPin works with you for a fair rate. Our average berm removal price is $45 and our average driveway clearing price is $85". So I contacted them via the form on their site to have a small berm across my driveway removed. Their reply was: "We have a $300 minimum right now". I then contacted them about how wrong I thought it was to now be charging residents over SIX TIMES their stated average rate in this time of crisis... and they replied telling me to "shove it!", and "the website says $45 minimum" (when it clearly states that it is their average rate). read more

Excellent snow removal services! While they usually require reservations, I was in a jam as I had an important meeting to get to and DOT had not yet plowed the roads. I called them up and Christina answered. I told her my situation and not only did she plow our berm but the roads all the way to Sky Park so I could make my 8:30 am meeting in Sac. Such an excellent and professional team! We will definitely use them should we ever find ourselves in that position again! read more

We were spending a few days at our place off Hwy 50, expecting no snow, when the weather forecast changed and then more snow than expected fell overnight. We stayed an extra day hoping we could clear our driveway and, due to Caltrans plowing the highway, we had more on the top of our driveway than we could clear. I'm 81 and hesitant about snow shoveling. This had not happened to us in over 50 years. Through Yelp we contacted Kingpin and Christina agreed to help us. We are near Kyburz. She cleared the top of the driveway and we are very thankful for their services. We were able to leave and return to our home in Sacramento. We are writing trhis review to counteract some of the negative comments we recently heard about. I had back surgery in late October. I am retired and do not have a lot of mobility. Robhert and his crew have come to our home, AT NO CHARGE, and cleared our driveway for us, because they kn ow I cannot do it myself.... These people are more than a business. They are dedicated neighbors who have done a GREAT deal in Gold Ridge Forest to assist other neighbors here, especially during this recent storm series. I have not personally seen any speeding trucks, disruptive behavior by their crew... I have seen Robert and his dog riding shotgun around the 'Hood.... Thank You for your service, Folks!! read more

Called these guys up to remove a bunch of trees I had to have cut down, clean my gutters and add a down spout. They were very reasonable considering all the costs for everything going up.
