They took one person at 1:45p the other two, were taken 45 minutes later. I later read the review where someone mentioned treated like cattle and I have to agree. My service tech was def not pleasant, he filed my nails very hard, and he wasn't happy that I wanted short nails. My nails aren't even and the paint is not uniform. During my service he asked if they were ok, I said thinner on the whites please, he tried again, and I said not so thick please, he sighed, I could tell he was not happy. I'm very disappointed with my entire experience here and will not be returning, and hope this review saves someone else time and money! ;( read more

My review is late! I was there November 9th. I had a gel pedicure and pedicure with Hannah and Vicky waxed my brows. This is one of the most BEAUTIFUL nail salons I've ever been in. The staff is so nice and very friendly. It was awesome to make an appointment online and then check myself in electronically upon my arrival. They have an amazing selection of polish colors and dips. I came to this nail salon about a week ago with my sister to relieve a little stress and relax. Unfortunately, my experience was less than average. I went in for a pedicure and a full set, my sister for a full set. We got priced 35 a full set and 10 extra if we wanted gel polish. Cool. So I get my pedicure .. no scrub.. no cuticle remover or softener applied, barely anything done and get this .. she used soft soap hand soap on my legs and feet instead of a scrub or exfoliant like you'd normally see. I'm a licensed nail tech and I've been to many nail salons throughout my years and this was so disappointing. ( guys this crappy half way done service cost me $37 ) So my sister get this full set and gets charged $10 extra for the shape of her nail ( coffin ) which is unheard of IMO then my full set came to $65 because instead of the ombré polish I requested they used acrylic to do the ombré ... oh and the shape. $65 for a simple pink and white nail. So I go to pay and was overcharged. Mentioned that they priced us differently over the phone and still made no difference. Besides the pricing and crappy pedicure, the full set came out bumpy, poorly shaped, was rushed and of course uneven in color. All in all, I'd never recommend this nail salon to anyone if they're looking for a great service. Added pics so you can see the terrible job done on the nails. This by the way, was supposed to be the coffin shape I paid an additional $10 for Understandably we are post pandemic, but that is no excuse to do a bad job with new customers. I made the mistake of getting my wife a gift card, I walked in asked the counter staff, a detailed question for specific services of exactly what she gets. Was offered no menu, list of services or description. Just a blanket statement "different prices for pedicures, 45, 55, 75 dollar" Bought a gift card with a guesstimate, wife was less than thrilled when she opened it. Could tell she had heard this place was miserable. She made an appointment, arrived on time, was treated like cattle, witnessed multiple other customers treated like garbage. The guy who was my tech used an actual CHEESE GRATER on my feet which roughed them up and cut me so bad. He started pounding his fists on my shins during the massage which hurt! Manicure was a joke. Wasn't even asked what shape I wanted. Decided to do whatever he felt like which came out awful. Paint job was the worst I've seen. It's been 2 days and it's already coming off. Terrible and overpriced! Came in for a simple wax eyebrow cleaning and mentioned a few times that the lady should clean better. if I could give 0 stars I would. went in an paid $104 for a mani and pedi (dip mani gel pedi). the pedi was good but the mani was the worst i've ever had. My nails looked like bubbles and the nail tech refused to fix them. she kept saying my nails were dirty so it makes the dip deform!? First off my nails were just cleaned by YOU and now you say the dip won't stay because they're "dirty" ?? I paid and left peacefully accepting the butchered mani. When I woke up my nails were smudged and uneven. they didn't even look filed. I called back asking to speak to the owner and was told "you can't right now". I was sure to tell whoever I spoke to, that my nail was actually very nice and I w joyed the pedicure. I then had to ask for a refund for my mani because they were disgusting! they said i would have to drive another 45 minutes back to have them removed ! I'm so upset with the costumer service here. You need to make appt for services but they way overbook don't ask for names or times of appts. You stand in a line basically as a walk up service tell the person what you would like and then take you in. You can actually go and say you have an appt and no one would know the difference. My appt was for 5 pm,7 people ahead of me standing outside one lady has appt at 430pm was still waiting in line with 2 people in front of her. The pedicure was a basic timed service with nothing extra. Gel manicure I needed to ask to cut down nails and file all even shape, the color I chose was on the lighter side and I requested a third coat instead of choosing a new color to which that started a conversation amongst the workers and then staring. I Was there for a total of 50mins Still Confused why wait was so long seeing that all services were timed on a stop watch. The most shocking part and ending to this experience was the cost. $74 for a basic 20 min pedicure and 20min gel manicure. Would not return to this salon. read more

As women we go the nail salon for the experience and nice nails when leaving. Well this NOT the place to go! It was the worst experience I have had, upon arrival I was told not asked rudely to pick a color and then waited 25 minutes after my appointment time - I know, I should have ran! The vinyl panel between me and the tech was dirty (should clean it) and she was flicking the dip powder everywhere - texting on her personal phone, mumbling and getting up and down to talk to other people - so RUDE. I am floored at the negative comments as I've never experienced any of this - wow!! The entire staff is spectacular and truly care about their customers!! Both my young daughter and myself have been coming to Vicki, Kim and Tom for well over a year, when they were at another establishment. We followed them!! I love the ambiance of Kingluxe and the wine bar, what an added bonus! The pedicures are phenomenal, I always end up falling asleep, the uv gel manicures are AMAZING!! This place is very nice, definitely new based on how updated the salon is. I'm coming from Boston where the prices are already high but typically get what you pay for. The prices are a littttle insane here though! $37 for a VERY basic pedicure. Nothing extra that would make it worth almost $40. The basic manicure, no hot towel or massage was $20. Worst mani/pedi experience of my life. Waited until 45 minutes after my appointment time and they sped through everything. They only used the pumice on about 1/3 of my feet, they didn't ask if I wanted my nails cut/filed and square/round (so they did everything the opposite of what I wanted), they didn't use any bonder for the gel mani, and the gel mani which should last 2 weeks is peeling just 4 days after. Don't waste your money, and it's not cheap. read more

TERRIBLE PLACE! Every single person here is rude. Came here for a pre WEDDING mani and pedi with the bride and all and were so badly treated. The owner was more concerned about the people sitting in the chairs behind her than doing her own clients nails. This place ruined my beautiful strong nails. I got the dip and instantly they broke. Okay, so I recently have moved and Kingluxe nails was the most convenient nail salon out of all of them. I made an appointment online for 4:00 pm. I got a call from them at around 2:30pm after I did my appointment saying if I wanted to come right at that time. I couldn't so I politely said "no thank you". Then I receive a call from them around 3:00 pm. He asked me if I could switch my appointment to 3:30pm because he had to close the shop down early because of an emergency. I get there around 3:15pm. Immediately she was pushy and rushing me to pick a color. After around 3 minutes I picked a color. I picked a mauve color to do a french tip with. She cut my ACRYLIC NAILS with nail cutters!!! It hurt me so bad! Then when she was drilling which the drill was up way to high cut me not 1. Not 2. 3 times!!! After that the primer was curing in the uv light and i saw a piece of hair from her fingers on my nail. I said "there is a piece of hair on my nail." She told me that it was my fault because I was "not careful". When I called I was quoted on it being 43 dollars. She charged me 53 which is fine but 53 dollars for such a poor job and service! Overall the place is beautiful but I don't know if I will go back! My mom said that her pedicure was good though! read more

If i could give zero stars i would! this place SUCKS the lady that greeted me was so rude. the place was so unsanitary the tools had prices of real nail and cuticle and they just flicked it off right in front of me and continued to cut my nails with them. and as it was getting later the lady that was doing pedicures and t to the the sink and used the stuff that the brushes were sitting in to clean the tools. the drills were nasty. my nails were done by a nice man but they came out so so bad. they were lumpy and they were al completely different shapes. the lady that was doing my friends nails took almost TWO HOURS for a dip acrylic set. she took about 3 phone calls and talked to everyone else there the whole time. do not go!! me and my friend both felt so uncomfortable and talked about more than i ever had in my life. read more

Let me start by saying, I REALLY wanted to like this salon. I have been there 3 times. After my third visit, I decided it was my last. I know there is a language barrier but to use as an excuse to act rude is totally unacceptable. I noticed in my first two visits that they really push gel finished nails, which I did have them done. However, the last time the gel peeled right off the very next day. Today, I went in and the first thing I told them was I didn't want gel nails. I picked out my color and headed to the back to get my pedicure. I noticed that the technician started putting gel and I reminded him I didn't want gel. It was immediately fixed with out an issue. I then went to get a refill with another technician. He immediately set the gel enamel out and I let him know that I wasn't getting gels completed, that I just wanted regular nail enamel. I went on to explain that the last time the gels started to peeled off the very next day and wasn't impressed. I also told him I needed I nail replaced because I had filed it down too much. Well the comment changed his whole mood. He put on the nail file to rough and fast which burned me. He was also being really rough my hands and pretty much flipping them aggressively from side to side. As he proceeded putting the acrylic on I told him once again that a nail needed to be fixed. He then looks at the nail after he puts on the acrylic and tells me it needs to be fixed and flings my hand really high. That's when I knew it wasn't a language barrier he was being a jerk. I got up and told him I was done. I requested to be charged for the services provided. The manager came over and tried to smooth over the situation but it was too late. I let her know that the point of me going there was to relax after a tough week and it turned to shit. I left with my nails undone which is really upsetting because I don't know how to do my own. Lastly, I'm giving them two stars, the place is clean, the website allows you to make online reservations and the place always has same day availability (which I figured out why). read more

My friend and I had gone there for a mani pedi. My gel manicure chipped within one day and has been progressively chipping or falling completely off my nails since then. The sides were lifting up within 24 hours. My friends manicure is not consistent and does not look good. We were rushing to get out of there because our appointments were taken late and it was 45 minutes past closing. We appreciated that they stayed longer but not for the rush job and cost. read more

I found my person! I have worn Liquid Gel Nails forever and its really hard to find a nail tech that can shape them perfectly, make them thin and look natural. Henry is excellent. *DO NOT COME HERE* The high end pictures online are deceiving as you think you will receive good quality and good customer service. I sat in a chair for 15 MINUTES for a pedicure. (Half the time they were taking the gel off my toes from a prior pedicure somewhere MUCH BETTER) They did not even file my toes. To include I had an appointment at 5:30 and they did not take me until 6:10. They rushed my appointment as there were many other people waiting and clearly upset. My pedicure cost 50$ for me to pretty much get a polish change. Absolutely terrible. I never write reviews but I had to give a fair warning to everyone to not waste your time here. Was in yesterday for a gel mani and regular pedicure. I was impressed with the check in procedures (temp check & waiver for contact tracing), cleanliness, and distancing between clients. They seemed to have overbooked for 1pm and there were about 6 people waiting outside and more in their cars. Pedi was relatively quick and they wouldn't upgrade to deluxe when I asked (others in my group were allowed to upgrade). Gel mani was sub-par and also felt very rushed. My toe smudged when moving from the pedi to mani and the man looked at it, gave me a thumbs up, and refused to fix it. One of the main reasons I'm giving them 3 stars is the inconsistency between the pricing for our group. I was charged $74 for a gel mani and regular pedi, a friend was charged $75 for a gel mani and deluxe pedi, and another friend was charged $87 for a gel mani and deluxe pedi. I've never experienced this with a nail salon before and we didn't realize the pricing gap until after we all left. Do yourself a favor and ask for a pricing breakdown ahead of service. TIP: If you're stuck waiting for an appointment (here or anywhere else) that requires a temp check.. do not stand in the sun/heat! It will throw off the temp and they will not let you in. read more

This was my first time here, as it is relatively new in town. They did a great job making sure they were keeping up with local COVID-19 precautions, but that's about the only positive thing I have to say about this place. The owner and the staff are extremely rude, and i was extremely disappointed in the services I got. I got a basic pedicure and a gel manicure. The pedicure looked like something a toddler did. The polish was all over my skin, and the entire service was completely rushed. As for my manicure, they didn't even trim my cuticles. She filed my nails in all different shapes, despite my polite request to reshape a few of them. When I left, I realized my manicure was just as bad as my pedicure. All over my skin, and it looked like globs of gel just slapped onto my nails. Not to mention... the entire thing cost me $74 before tip. Don't waste your time or money. read more

my 3 cousins and i came in and the workers did not know that i spoke vietnamese as soon as we walked in they were saying stuff like we were unprofessional and dirty looking, my cousin was too skinny and her parents didn't feed her, my other cousins hands were disgusting! some more people came in and the workers were saying stuff like they are dirty and unprofessional because they walked in with no mask and 2 seconds later realized it and then put their masks on. if anyone is unprofessional it would be these people i highly do not recommend coming here!! they also did not cut the cuticles at all nor did they file and shape all the nails correctly! they didn't give us what we asked for, all in all this place is horrid!! i called before hand and they said dip was $47 they gave us all different prices such as $42, $52, and $57 keep in mind we all got the exact same thing! read more
