As a Korean guy who's enjoyed food everywhere from Seoul to LA Koreatown and managed a high-end Korean restaurant, this place is fantastic. The kimbap (KingBob) is really well made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. It came out with a small side of fishcake broth, which really completed the meal--no need to order it separately. My girlfriend especially loved the sauce it came with, and for the price, it's unbeatable. The yubu chobap (chobob) was well balanced, with a great protein-to-rice ratio. ordered kingbob for pick-up on 5/11/26, the bulgogi kimbap had something bitter in it unfortunately. i also tried the black bean rice cake with fish cake which was great. the kimchi cheese fried rice was standard. i would still try this spot again for the loaded kimbap, but the bitter taste was a bit weird! hopefully it was an off day. read more

I'm not sure if any of the positive reviews come from people who have tried Korean food from the East coast. Fried chicken and mandu were not packed for transport and arrived soggy. Really great casual spot! I have tried the bulgogi and tonkatsu kimbap. If you sit inside you'll get soup served with it. They also have different drink options like teas and Milkis, and some Korean alcoholic drinks. Their rolls are 10pc for one and an order fills you up so don't think that the portion sounds small. Kingbob was honestly very good! We tried a couple different kimbaps (the kimchi and the bulgolgi) and the soy and garlic boneless chicken. Everything we had was quite delicious. I definitely preferred the bulgolgi kimbap over the kimchi one since I think it had a little more pizzazz and was a little more interesting for the tastebuds. I definitely commend the chicken "wings" because they were super tender and the soy garlic was delicious! It was definitely a dark meat but they were also pretty sizeable chunks so even a half order was very filling! I also really appreciated the seaweed soup that was complementary to the kimbap. Despite it being such a hot day, the broth was still very comforting and soul warming. Our lunch cost about $34 so all said and done, I would consider that good value. read more

The kimbap was delicious and had a homemade quality to it. It was the optimal ratio of fillings to rice, and the rice did not overpower at all. I also really liked the tteokbokki. I usually don't gravitate toward jjajang tteokbokki, but this iteration was savory and delicious. It was a fairly small portion, but I'd probably still get this again. My friends and I randomly discovered this place and we LOVE IT! It has really nice employees, really yummy food, and some great kpop videos playing that really create an awesome vibe! We had friends visiting and we wanted to get some kimbaps (rice rolls) to share, so how could you go wrong with a place call Kingbob? It's their specialty!
