We have done business with this establishment for several years and spent a lot of money on wheels and tires and have always had decent customer service until recently. We brought our truck in for a routine rotation and balance and noticed after the service that our truck had started shaking. We brought the truck back and had it re-balanced and still had the same issue. After talking with Josh and the tire tech we were told that we had a bad tire. We had trouble before and they replaced 3 defective tires, that we had purchased from them, so we decided that instead of buying 1 Nitto A/T tire for $500 that we would go ahead and purchase a new set of Nitto highway tires for $1068, since we already had problems with the other 3 tires, we figured we would get away from the entire set and start with a new set, since we were told our tire was bad. Well, after the new tires were installed, the "SHAKING" problem followed and was a lot worse than with our original tires. I spoke with the owner "Matt", and he test drove our truck and felt the shaking, as well. He had the new tires re-balanced and still no resolution as to why the truck was still shaking after the routine rotation and balance, as the problem was still there. I was then told, that i had a bad wheel, so Matt contacted Fuel to see if it was under warranty, and was told that it was a 50/50 shot at whether it was covered or not, depending on if we messed up the wheel. And then 5 minutes later Matt tells me that it is more than likely the driveshaft on my 2021 GMC Sierra.. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Seemed like he was deflecting everything away from anything that could have been done at their place. Matt and I proceeded to go out in front of the store where i expressed my dissatisfaction about how it was now, all of the sudden an issue with my truck, and why i was told to purchase a tire/tires when that wasn't the issue and how we needed to resolve this issue of us being out of pocket $1068 for no reason. Matt and I had a heated argument in front of his store and was told to bring my old tires back and he would put them back on. I immediately went and brought the tires back to be met with we don't have time today and I'll have to come back a different day, basically laughed at. Well, i took my truck to another reputable shop, down the road, and they had my vehicle fixed in 45 minutes and was told that my tires were never balanced correctly. WOW!! I called back to Kings and informed them that another shop was able to correct the issue with no problems, and Matt said he would call his tire machine tech and have him check his balance machine and that he would pay the $129 that i spent at another shop and he would call me on the following Monday/Tuesday and he would put my old tires back on and help sell the set i did not need. Surprise, surprise, no call back and nothing but crickets. 2 weeks later i call and talk with Josh and Z ,and find out one of the lasers on their machine were off and they had several other vehicles that had the same problem during the same time. This all started because their machine was not working properly. I understand that sometimes things happen to equipment that you are unaware of, that can cause problems, but when you tell a customer you will call them and get their vehicle back in to finish the job, or make a call and own up to YOUR machine being the problem. That makes a huge difference in CUSTOMER SERVICE. Before this experience i would have told anyone to come here and we did, Josh and Z are awesome, but after being treated the way we were, i would not recommend Kings to anyone. read more
