Discount Tire removed my two front rims and installed my factory rims because I wanted the two front rims to match each other while that chrome rim were being repaired. On March 18th, 2026 my friend took my rim to LoneStar Wheel Repair and the repairs were completed, we paid $154.50 and picked up the rim up on March 20th. On March 20th 2026, Discount Tire removed the factory rims, replaced the chrome rims, put the repaired rims on the opposite side. On March 21st 2026 when I got in my car the air was back down to 19, so I called LoneStar Wheel Repair, but they close at noon on Saturdays. So, I went back to Discount Tire they checked the tires/rim and it was determined it wad still bent and needed to be repaired again. On Monday, March 23rd, 2026, I called LoneStar Wheel Repair and was told to bring it in. This time I drove over and when I got out of the car, the Owner, immediately guaranteed me that it was a different rim. Even before she liked at it. The, owner insisted they "mark" all repaired rims but refused to let me see these so called markings. Instead of even trying to understand what happened, she accused me of damaging another rim within less than 24 hours and blamed "the way I drive." Completely unprofessional! They refused to take responsibility and charged me another $154.50 to fix what was clearly the same rim. No accountability, no customer service, and very disrespectful treatment. I would not trust this business especially if you drive a nice vehicle and expect careful honest service. Took it home, put the spare on, drove the tire to Mo @ Kings Customs. I asked if it can be safely repaired. They said by either methos, patch or plug. Plug is more labor, but I asked for a patch. Less than 20 minutes I was back on the road, tire repaired, good for another 50k miles. I told my son long ago to always trust Kings Customs, never bother with Discount Tire. About a month later I cranked it up and it was running very rough. I shut it off and checked to see if any of the plug wires were loose. I started it and it was running smooth. This happened several more times over three days. I went back to Big Red and Jerry, one of the mechanics, came right out and looked at it. And we saw the problem: they had left one of the plug wires dangling and it was resting on the exhaust manifold. One of the other mechanics, Freddie, was coming back from lunch and saw us. He taped the wire and routed it away from the manifold and my truck ran as smooth as ever. He ordered new wires immediately and called me later in the day. When I went back, Freddie stopped what he was working on and changed the wire and checked the other wires. He changed another one that he said was okay but it was also dangling close to the manifold, so better safe than sorry. THAT'S the way to do business.

The rims were advertised at $1,100 on Facebook Marketplace, which was a great deal, but when I arrived, they quoted $1,400. They did agree to honor the Facebook price and we made a deal for a wheel and tire package with the installation. They did not have the tire size needed on-site, so they brought them in from their Garland location, and the entire installation took about four hours. The tires came with free rotation, and they transferred my TPMS sensors over. The staff knew their stuff and were very knowledgeable about wheel and tire fitments for basically any Truck out there. They were also extremely friendly and even shared pizza with me while I waited. They did have exactly what I wanted. My truck looks great, and I did recommend them to my neighbor who also bought a set of tires for his truck.
