I had one of the worst experiences I've ever had at this lounge last night. Without any real explanation or attempt to de-escalate the situation, three security guards physically grabbed and dragged me out of the venue. It was completely unnecessary, aggressive, and honestly humiliating. During the incident one of the guards had his arm around my neck to the point where I couldn't breathe and my necklace was ripped off in the process. At no point did anyone try to calmly speak to me or explain what the issue was. Being handled by multiple security guards like that felt excessive and unprofessional, especially in a place that's supposed to be about having a good time. Instead of basic communication, the situation immediately escalated to physical force. I would strongly caution anyone thinking about going here. A night out shouldn't end with you being physically dragged out by security with no explanation. There are plenty of lounges in the city that treat their guests with far more respect. read more

Visited on a Thursday night at 9 p.m. and there was not a crowd. Not a bad thing at all. Normal Hookah lounge. Plenty of seating throughout the floor. It was Karaoke night and it was a blast! They had every single song you can think of in both English and Spanish. Hookah was great. Different flavors to choose from. Overall great ambiance and wouldn't mind coming again. My first time going here was last night, it was not a good experience. The way they handled a situation was unprofessional. It does not take 3 men that are "security" to carry a woman out. Who couldn't breathe and lost a special necklace. That was not called for. No one could explain the situation, no one said why it happened. The situation shouldn't have gotten that far. It could've been handled differently. No one should've gotten hurt, this was supposed to be a place to have fun and enjoy. At the end of the night it ended with police being called. King Tut Hookah Lounge is a great place for Hookah. The Hookah's pull pretty good, so it makes me think that their hookahs are authentic. This place is very spacious, with lots of seats to choose from! Great for a couples night or with a group of friends. The cocktails were also tasty. I ordered the lemon drop my favorite and it was pretty good. The waitress was super friendly and accommodating. This is a nice chill spot. I hate that they don't have food, but on the weekends they do have a hibachi set up. I haven't tried it though. Faith was my server and she is so sweet! I love the mirror placements as well. They do charge $20 per person to sit in what's considered VIP which is worth it, but on the weekends the VIP section has a 2 bottle minimum. King Tut also has the best prices I have seen. They do not up charge for things like coal changes and custom flavor mixes. The service is very prompt, and the servers are attentive. During the week the lounge has a nice relaxing environment, which makes it great for unwinding and socializing. The weekends are more busy and energetic, which makes for a fun Friday or Saturday night. The best part is that they NEVER charge an entry fee as long as you are ordering a hookah. Chunky guy, appears to be middle eastern that claims to be the manager got into a verbal altercation which almost turned physical (shoving involved and shoulder to shoulder contact) with a security guard that works there, at the entrance, in front of myself and a group of friends that were celebrating a birthday. When the behavior was mentioned he denied us entry because he was in his feelings and didn't like the fact that something was said. Then immediately he tried to gaslight and project his hostility onto the group when it was him who was hostile. He tried to charge us $20 per person to enter saying there were no general admission seats. Which there were. The place wasn't even packed. When we asked to speak to the owner it was said that the owner was not there; he claimed to be the manager and said he was not letting us in "since he's tripping". Very unprofessional, rude and over emotional. If he is management it needs to be reassigned because he cost the company money and his customer service is trash. Furthermore, as a reply to the lies that were typed in the response on google. No staff member was disrespected. Addressing "Jimmy" about the unprofessional behavior that took place shouldn't result in being denied access to an establishment when we were put in danger. Based on "Jimmy's" crappy disposition I can see why the security guard was ready to tear him a new one and in my opinion he should've! The quality of the staffing is horrible they allow staff to be mad disrespectful and rude. They have fights outside of the door of the building and will talk to you crazy when felt guilty. Came to smoke with king tut. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of hookah and service this is one of the few lounges that care about how the hookah smokes. A nice mix of contemporary atmosphere and traditional hookah preparation, they have really good mint tea also! they are also taking precautions for covid. I spoke to the manager at this hookah about the fraudlent transition that happened after I swiped my card. All he cared about was covering up what happened and trying to show me documents of what I already ordered. If you look at the comment below of me explaining what happened, you will see a lot of " we would never" OR " we are an honest establishment". Mind you this happened immediately after I swiped my card at this lounge and no other transactions were made at all. I just hope what ever employee that stole from me needed it because it happened right under my nose. If you go to this lounge and have the same experience or worse please report it. I pray this never ever happens to know one else. As far as the "honest establishment", I really wanted to like my experience. But the hookah was not good at all! You need to clean the couches and hookah equipment really bad or get new ones because it tasted like flavors that other customers had in the past. Lastly , I wish you cared more about your patrons to actually fix the "establishment" instead of covering up your mistakes and then responding to real honest yelp reviews with MORE dishonest. A guy went around refilling the coals on the hookah and when he stopped at our section the sparks from the coals were flying out and hitting me on my thighs. As I'm jumping up, I'm letting him know that they are burning me. He looks at me, then continues to place the coals on the hookah. I keep jumping and he says nothing then walks away. I get up and continue telling him what happened and he says "okay sorry". I ask for the manager and he says "you're talking to him". Honestly the best Hookah bar I've ever been too. They have the best employees and Ahmed is just on top of it.
