Sat at the bar for 5 minutes before the bartender came from the back. She looked me straight in the eye and never acknowledged me. Her two friends came in and stood right next to me at the end of the bar and she started hugging and speaking to them. She made eye contact with me 2 more times before giving them free liquor in to-go cups and then they walked out with it. She then asked me what I wanted. Proceeds to overcharge me $27 for a bourbon and automatically added 20% gratuity. Nicole (the name on the receipt) she never introduced herself of course. Hospitality industry is not for you babes. I really enjoyed this Hookah spot. But I must warn you. It is a very small tight establishment. If you don't mind sitting very close to a stranger, you'll fit right in (non pun-intended lol). The hookah's here are very smooth and quite tasty. The last time I went I asked the Hookah man to surprise me and I was pleasantly surprised with the Smooth Criminal! Such a cool name and definitely smooth. The hookah man is also the DJ, he plays the music off of his phone. To be honest, not a bad idea at all, because his playlist is always on point! I've often left out of Infused with a couple of new songs that I uploaded to my playlist. He knows how to read the crowd and will also sing and dance along with everyone! Very entertaining! The drinks are a little pricey and nothing special, I ordered my favorite a lemon drop and it wasn't the best but got the job done. This bar is a scam. Bartender was incredibly rude and charged us $60 for 3 don julio shots which feels a little on the high end. I asked to double check that the shots were $20/each and she rolled her eyes and printed a receipt she could have easily adjusted. This is a cool spot however it's tiny . There is limited seating and very little space to really move around . We gathered here on Tuesday for a going away party . Apparently, it was Neighborhood Tuesday which is half off everything! The prices are already good so that made it even better . They did have a food truck that a few of my friends tried . It looked good too. There's about five parking spots in the parking lot designated to Infused but several towing signs . Stopped in after work after seeing $3 margs on the BarCrawler app (a third party app). The space was small but utilized well. They have hookah for $30 but no food menu. I took a seat at the bar but when I asked about the $3 margs, she didn't know what I was talking about (not her fault). I ended up getting a margarita with 1800 because it was on special for $6. The margaritas were good, a little strong but definitely worth $6. The bartender was alright. She seemed like she didn't want to be there. She didn't know the specials for the day which isn't a huge deal, I just know if didn't ask I would've been charged full price for the margarita. I like rap and hip hop so the music selection worked for me. The only main problem I had was when it came to the check. I was charged 20% in gratuity even though I was at the bar by myself and only ordered two drinks. A 3% credit card surcharge was also added. When I asked the bartender about the gratuity she said it's added to all checks which was a bit disappointing because I didn't see any signs posted anywhere. No wonder the bartender doesn't want to be there. She's probably not receiving any tips after gratuity. This place is clean (including the restrooms) and has good drink specials but the 20% gratuity and 3% credit card surcharge is why I won't be back, especially since it's posted no where in or outside the bar. I purchased 5 shots of Hennessy . Bartender bought the check back threw it down I didn't even know it was mine . After about 10 mins I asked for my check in which she pointed to it . I noticed a 20% gratuity was added I advised her after her not coming back to check on us or anything I wanted to lower that tip to 10 % she lied and said she couldn't it's automatic . I then advised her to take it off in which she did initially and gave me a receipt not showing the tip . This was my third and FINAL time at this establishment because I experienced theft, defamation of character, poor customer service, and lack of conflict management skills from the bartender, bouncer, and owner. My friend went to get our drinks, so I could save our seats. I gave her $20 for my drinks. While the (appeared to be) white female, with short and dark-haired bartender was in my eye view, I asked her how much a Classic Margarita is, she said $8. Then I asked what drink specials they have, she said some type of Vodka Rose' for $5, etc. I asked for the Vodka Rose'. My friend gave her $20 for my $13 purchase. She gave all ones back. My friend did not count the ones, but I did once she gave them to me. It was $5. My friend went right back and told the bartender the change was incorrect. She said, "That's the right change." *rolled her eyes and walked off* At that time, my friend came back to her seat and I went to the bar to address the matter. While I stood there, the bartender fixed a few drinks, spoke to the bouncer, puffed on hookah...all while I patiently waited there, being ignored. Once she finally came to me, I explained again what the concern was. She said $5 change is correct. I let her know $20-13=7 but go ahead and keep the $2 because I was going to tip her that anyways. I just wanted to make her aware of the principle. You cannot do what you want with someone else's money. She got irate and told me I can have $2 from her tip jar because she did not take my money. I told her do not worry about it and sat back down. She stood at the bar entrance-way with the $2 in hand, ranting LOUDLY, that I can get it. She hopped around, as if she was ready to be in the ring with me. My friend let her know, "It is not that serious. You are at work. Calm down and keep the $2. She continued to yell about how she does not have time for this and "it is what it is" ...I can have the money. Finally, I went over to her and got the $2 that she was STILL ranting about. After that, she called the (now known as) owner over and he motioned with his hand, to the bouncer that the three of us must leave. My niece asks the bounce if she can use the restroom before she goes, I quickly answered her, saying you absolutely can. My friend left and he said I need to wait for my niece outside. I let him know, "We came together and we will leave together. We are getting kicked out because the bartender is a thief and I will not leave until she comes out of the restroom." He backed off. She came out of the restroom and we went outside. As we stood outside, planning our next move, a tall white man with reddish hair and a beard (same guy who motioned to the bouncer that we need to leave) approached the three of us, and said, "I am the owner. I'm sorry this has happened. Y'all come back tomorrow and the drinks are on me. She won't be here tomorrow." We let him know we will not be back because we have never been kicked out of anywhere. We also advised him we should be able to come anytime, not just when a certain employee is not working. Sounds like he has no control. He said because of the fact that he is not technically working tonight, he is just there to drink and hookah, the best thing for him to do is take the word of his employee and we can speak to him about it tomorrow. Lastly, I am not pleased. I have other friends who frequent Infused and it is disappointing to know that they have after conversations with them decided not to go to one of their favorite spots, again. They want to take a stand to have my back, since I was wronged. The place is small. However, it still did not take away the huge embarrassment. This review is for management - I live in the apartment across the field... every Tuesday night the patrons of this bar are screaming and yelling past 2am keeping everyone awake and leaving a ton of trash. I have talked to management about this and been hung up on in the past. This Wednesday morning I was running my dog in the field and stepped on a beer bottle that cut my foot through my shoe and also a small cut on my dogs foot as she stepped on one. I constantly clean up this field after Infused Tuesday nights and the bottles have been getting worse and worse. So I contacted them and the response I got was "we told our patrons they will be towed if they park there" then rudely hung up on me immediately. The patrons crowd outside the bar on the street late at night and throw stuff in the field and scream and yell. Something needs to be done about this. Infused should be responsible for cleaning up the field their patrons use as a trash cans for beers they get at the establishment. read more

Infused is a gem of a spot in Charlotte and EASILY my favorite!!! The bar is beautifully designed, with an upscale atmosphere. It's extremely laid back and open 7 days a week... what more could you ask for?!? Their staff rocks, all the beautiful ladies are well trained and so down to earth. I never have to wait on service nor do I ever get that rushed feeling like some other spots. The name infused comes from their vas assortment of infused vodkas; mixed berry, pineapple and the Bloody Mary are my favorites. But occasionally they have surprise new infusions like the "bees knees" *yummy*!! Between that and the 12 craft beers they have on tap (and all the delicious seasonals coming in) a girl has her work cut out for her trying to decide! I'm so excited about this bar. They have great specials throughout the week and an extensive selection . The bar team is very friendly and accommodating. If they are out of something they work to find you something you will like. The music is great too, everything I want to hear , would listen to in my car is playing which gives you an 'at home' vibe. This doesn't apply the the bar's namesake. Half off applies to the beer and wine, but still a good deal. The Meh - The drinks. Yes. The drinks at the bar were weak and the flavors were off. The "infusions" did not come through in my drink or my friends. Between the two of us, we tried the pineapple, strawberry and mixed berry. The strawberry has the best flavor and the pineapple tastes of frozen orange juice. The Rest - There is no food at the bar, but you can order from places in the area and have it delivered. This is a go-to spot for people in the neighborhood. The crowd all seemed to know each other and be very comfortable with the bartender and barkeep. Update! 12.14.16 I just had to go back to this place! So I found out my favorite bartenders name and her band is Murphy! You have to request her! So I tried the pineapple infused vodka omg AMAZING and my friend tried the berry infused vodka. I liked that one better another customer recommended we get it without the mixer which is Sprite and something else but I loved it! We only needed one glass and on top of that I got to watch the cowboys lose lol so it was a fun day for me. This is my favorite bar they can have all my money lol good job guys. Conveniently below my apartment, Infused bar is where I go to wind down. It is somewhere you can always find me on Tuesday, because that is when well drinks are half off. For the most part, all of the drinks are reasonably priced. The martinis are only $5 dollars, which is hard to find in the downtown area. It is a relatively nice place with a modern design. Looks much better inside than it does outside. Found this place through a friend. It's an amazing bar it's a little small but they have seating room. Drinks were pretty cheap (even with it being mid and top shelf)and strong! They also sell hookahs and they have a few tv's for watching uptown. Only downside is parking considering that it is where a couple of apartment buildings are and if you're not really good at parallel parking it can be frustrating. Have only been on a Tuesday for Neighborhood Night which they have half priced drinks but it's always a good time, well if you can find a seat or good place to stand. Really no matter what time you come on a Tuesday, expect maybe after midnight since people start to leave, it's extremely packed. You can see that just by driving by with all the people standing and sitting outside. It's very small on the inside so it gets packed rather quickly but there's the bar that seats about 10... a long booth that had 3 tables that can fit about 5 each just depending on how everyone is spaced out, and then they another table for about 5 to the side. The music is always good and there's a jukebox you can pay to play music too. My only complaint really is that there's only one bartender (at least every time I go) so when it's really busy it's hard to get a drink so word of advice just get 2 at a time because you will be waiting a bit. But she is very nice and is always working hard. They also have hookahs now but those are hard to come by since I think I only seen about 5 out. Other than that I'll be there on a Tuesday for a drink! And might pop in another night to see how it is. read more

YES! If I lived in the city I would be here all the time. We came here on a Friday looking for reasonably priced cocktails and somewhere to unwind. This bar had a great relaxed atmosphere and $5 infused martinis. Yes $5 for an infused vodka martini made with schnapps and soda or juice depending on the drink at an establishment in the city (okay a little on the outskirts but we didn't have a long walk to get there). I had the mixed berry infused martini which was smooth and easy to drink. I would have liked to try more of their specialities but they were out of the strawberry and pineapple infused drinks. Super disappointing. I was going to give them slack thinking they were a new bar but they have been around since 2013 so it surprised me that they were out of half their specialty drinks. The bartender was very friendly and while the bar was practically empty when we arrived it was bustling by the time we left. Considering how many drinks we had the bar tab was reasonable. I met a group of friends here on a Tuesday night. They had a half price deal going on. Be sure what you order is included in the half price deal. The space isn't huge, but there is outdoor seating. They do not serve food. We were starving so we ordering dominoes pizza. We were seated outside and ate it there. The female bar tender seemed a bit annoyed (almost everyone in my party commented on it). The male bar tender was a bit more upbeat. They both served us and made pretty good cocktails.
