My wife and I love this spot. Always have. However, we haven't been since 2023. It was nice to see the new furniture and the new setup.When we arrived at 6ish, we were immediately serviced. We were able to see our favorite server/bartender and that was nice. He made our drinks just the way we remembered... nice and strong...lol. Everything was good until 10pm when the "Club" party began. We were told that we would need to go to the bar for our hookah and drink needs. That ordeal was horrible for the rest of the night. We did not get tended to for our coal refill and repacking needs, even after going to the front several times. The guy kept saying he will come and we watched him go everywhere else each time. We waited way too long. The 1 line for drinks being made by 1 server took extremely long. Although the music was great bring played by the live dj, it did not take away the frustration. No one should have to chase for service that the establishment is known for. No one should have to wait on a extremely long line just to receive a drink at a hookah lounge. This is not a club by any means. Even if you have an event, the establishment should plan much better for the crowd by make it a more efficient and effective experience. She's very patient and always have a good recommendation for Hookah to me is very good as well and sometimes if you're lucky there's a food truck outside. This is a Nother location that it will allow you to bring in outside food because they do not serve food, with a new couches and table I actually like sitting in here more before the couches and the tables were a little more thrifted. Ok this is the type of hookah bar I'm used to going to. Some of the furniture is mismatched and menus look kind of crazy but there are always good people and a good time there. I am not sure if they served food we really only came for the greatly priced hookah. We were only in town for two days visiting and this was on our list. We were there twice in one day l. Early in the afternoon we went during happy hour I believe and then we had to leave for our dinner but of course we came back. Both times Roman waited on us. He was pleasant and attentive overall great attitude. Our second visit was more fun we sat at the bar. Roman had introduced us earlier to blow job shots, you know the fun ones with whip cream? I had high expectations as this spot came highly recommended from several friends. Not saying this was a bad spot but I probably wouldn't recommend it as the hookah lounge to go to. We went with the peach/mango hookah and it was pretty good! It was a little harder to pull than I was used to but that could have been on me. The hookah was good overall. Ordered 2 drinks and my wife liked her Moscow mule, I had top shelf long island and it was definitely not a top shelf. It was weak at best. The experience was cool, okay, straight. I would definitely dress down more if I went back to match the crowd more. Disclosure - This establishment is a private club, so you will be required to join as a member and pay a small ($1) fee for the yearly membership. It's worth it! If turning into the parking lot, just keep straight - Peace Pipe is located at the end. Don't let the other establishments deter you, it's safe and you'll enjoy yourself. I learned about this place through Yelp and was determined to come see what the hype was all about. The establishment is a nice size for a large group of friends to come hang out for drinks. As other reviews have stated, the associates treat everyone like they're VIP and the plush couches offer the final touch for the executive feeling. While they don't offer food, they do have snacks available behind the bar. There are also board and card games available to pass the time if you happen to go with a group of friends who aren't big on conversation (it happens). With that being said, be mindful of how many are sharing a hookah, because the set price for one is $15.99 (intended for 3 people max), any extra people to one hookah will result in an additional fee (I believe it is $5/person). So if you're a part of a larger group, you may want to inquire about having more than one. The shisha is organic but not nicotine free - I was informed it was about 0.05%, so not enough to cause a headache, but good to know for those that prefer none. A friend recommended this place and I decided to give it a try Saturday night. It wasn't packed but not empty either. I didn't know what to expect since it was my first time here but we were asked to pay a membership fee of a dollar. We were asked to sit on the bar but we showed them an available spot which they gave us. Things I didn't like about the place: Service: No one showed up for a good 10-15 minutes to ask us what we need. When they finally did it took them a while to bring us our drinks. We weren't offered water and had to keep looking for our server to ask for check, coal etc. The coal guy showed up when we were leaving hah! Pricing: prices are comparable to other high end hookah places but this place is too run down to be charging prices like that. This is Charlotte's best hookah lounge. Not only is it extremely spacious with indoor and patio seating, but it's very clean no matter how crowded it gets. The bathrooms are also squeaky clean. After a day of brewery hoppin' and spending our entire day together with no responsibilities (which is rare for my fiancee and I), we needed somewhere to close the epic evening with a bang. Am I glad she wanted hookah and we found this place practically around the corner from my house. The place is very clean and has a nice upscaleish feeling. While it does have a club-type feel to it (techno pop music, lighting, furniture, etc), it is actually a very relaxed, chilled back lounge with decent drinks and tons of hookah options. The staff was very professional, courteous, and above all, helpful. Both of the guys who were serving us made the experience that much more pleasant. At the staff's suggestion, we with a mint/lime for our hookah that was delicious. After a couple of drinks she got the Monkey Gland which is Absinthe and Gin and I got a beer and bourbon, we settled nicely into our very comfy couches for some truly relaxing moments chatting and watching the music videos.
