I got off of work around 10:30 pm, made it to the closest king soopers in the area, this was the closest one. I arrived ON TIME, 10 minutes before closing because I needed ONE item URGENTLY... as I pulled up to This king soopers the doors were already closed and there was an employee near the door. In my mind I thought they could perhaps open the doors, to let me in and get my one item. But as I was approaching the employee saw me and literally RAN AWAY. I wasn't even half way there, and when he saw me turn back to my car HE APPEARS. So I don't understand why this kingsoopers closes their doors at 10:50 when they are still technically opened. So I don't recommend coming to this king soopers at closing time, they will run away when they see you and the security will look at you like you owe him food and money. read more

There was a guy shopping, drinking beer out of a travel mug and playing hip-hop music loud in a speaker in his shopping cart. Nobody said anything to him and he roamed around the store like that the whole time I was there. We ended up at the same time at check out. He dropped his travel mug and spilled beer all over the front aisle. No security to be seen. King Soopers management you have put a lot of work into keeping this store. Nice. Spend a little extra effort to make sure your employees and customers are protected here in the late evening hours. I was shopping at 9:30 PM on a Monday night. King Soopers used to be my favorite store!! But for the last 6 months or more their Dairy, meat, and produce quality have tanked out really bad!! Oh!! And their bread too. With all those products I just mentioned, they all go bad long before the expiration dates, in fact, dairy goes bad just a few days after you buy it!!!! I've complained online several times, but they just ignore it. My daughter worked in shipping at Sam's club, and warned me that Sam's club and Walmart employees leave meat and dairy products out, unrefrigerated for way too long and it goes bad and gives people diarrhea. Great selection of cheese at this location. Staff here are all nice and they are quick to open extra check out lanes when they get busy. Smaller produce section than most King Soopers. Store is starting to look dated and could stand a makeover. read more

On 11/5 I had to order grocery delivery. After several failed experiences with pick up, I was afraid delivery was bound to fall apart too but my only choice was which store to order from. The driver dumped my groceries on my patio (in the direct sunlight) on a 70 degree day to let the frozen items thaw and the meet to go bad. Not to mention over half the items were allegedly out of stock. My neighbor went for me and picked the out of stock items off the shelf for meKings will say the delivery company is separate and shouldn't reflect on their service. Ummmm... how does this NOT reflect on Kroger. We've all watched the slow decline in customer service. I've learned to ignor the employees that are allowed to bad mouth and be disrespectful to supervisors and customers alike. This situation was the last straw for yet another customer. Once again, their ink cartridges is low so I was unable to scan a money order into my bank account from my phone. Had to mail it to my USAA bank account causing a 10 day delay for access to money. Don't do business with this place other than straight cash transitions. They do not maintain their ink cartridges and don't appear to give a shit. They will defer you to Western Union, but according to Google, they ARE the local Western Union. read more

Hubs was working in this Neighborhood on Sunday March 30th 2014. Time was about 15:00hrs ish. After work, since this is the nearest KS, we went here to get some stuffs. YES, this KS is opened 24 hours. Yes, the parking outside can be a NIGHTMARE, aka Packed to the Brim since it was the weekend. I had Samples of the Premade-Sushi, from the Sushi Counter. Just OK too. While we were there, this KS is kept clean, and it seems most stuffs were stocked up properly. This King Soopers is located in Northpark Plaza Shopping Strip Mall in, Westminster, CO. This area tend to be very busy because they shared a lot of other business such as Unleashed by Petco - Westminster and Amy's Hallmark Shop to name a few. As usual, purchase the norm stuffs like Bread, Local Colorado Honey, and Hubs managed to purchase Donuts for his sweet tooth cravings. That afternoon, the cashier who handled our transaction, his name is Issac F. Hmm, once again I am slightly puzzled aka "confused" with the "area boundaries" of this KS. I have been shopping here for 17 years. I knew many people who worked there. They used to have the best manager in the entire organization and the CEO of Kroger told me personally that this was the best store in the country. However, with the new management came some serious wounds to the employees. People whom I had known and loved that worked there would share what was going on. When one of their best workers ever, somebody who had worked there 45 years, was punished for helping a customer in a really good way. I still go there from time to time but I don't like the way they treat their employees. read more

I absolutely love my king Soopers the staff is always so helpful and friendly. The always greet me with a smile I need to get the name of the one young guy that I tend to get a lot and tell his manager how enjoyable he is he talks makes jokes and just really makes the checkout process enjoyable. The pharmacy has an amazing staff as well they are helpful and make sure you understand what your taking and answer your questions without feeling bad for a silly question. I even once left 2 packs of cigarettes in the buggy I didn't realize they were gone till hours later thinking ehh there gone. Well I decided oh what the heck I'll call and ask and guess what a employee turned them in and I was able to go grab them. A small gesture went a long way. read more

Well "Yelpers" King Soopers on 104th and Federal has done it again! My wife and I have Carona Virus and are quarantined. I called this King Soopers this morning and talked to a manager named Butch and explained our predicament as we can't and won't walk in his store and risk everyone there. So, Butch talks to Chris at the service desk and Chris tells Liz (good ol Liz) that I'm going to call her today when I arrive to shop. I call one of my two favorite service ladies, Liz, when I park my car and this young lady rolls out the red carpet treatment! She asks me what I need, goes and shops for me, walks out to my car in a mask (as I was too) gets my card, walks back to the store, pays and then brings my things out to my car! Wait! There's more! Then she opens my car and loads a boatload of Pepsi's and potatoes into my vehicle all the while asking about my health and my wife's health, wishing us speedy recovery and, get this, refuses a tip! Need I say more? It's obvious that you need to shop at this grocery and get this super service! Duh! Lol! On three or more occasions I have found this store touts a big sale on an endcap location, but the signs deliberately do not say if the price is per item or per pound. Minus the "per pound" clarification, people can be tricked into a bargain that is not that much of a bargain. Today, they had an island of Hostess snack cakes with multiple signs saying 2 for $7. Right in the center were some boxed cakes, just slightly bigger than the others, with no prices at all-- so the customer has nothing to go on other than the big signs. And of course those "family packs" were not part of the sale. Smart marketing? Or deceptive advertising? I think the latter. I am tired of this King Soopers "tricks" and won't be back-- I can easily shop elsewhere. read more

I went to the deli department today on my lunch hour and picked up a ready-made salad. Couldn't find a fork so I asked a man behind the counter (brown hair, late 50's) for one. First he told me to go look in Starbucks, which I did but didn't find one. I came back and said I still needed a fork and he asked a co-worker to go look in the back room. She did (sandy blonde hair, late 50's) and came back saying they were out. She offered me a spoon. I declined and put the salad back. This is the second time this has happened. Can't they just go to the isle that has plastic forks and open a pack? I know I won't ever go shop at the deli in this Kings in the future. The two employees seemed more concerned about their conversation than helping a customer. Very poor customer service! read more

This store has a sign problem... no signs, wrong signs, and an assistant manager who says they can't honor signs that have been put up in error. How do you know how much something costs ? If there is a price sign, will it really be that price? Produce and floral have the biggest problem with signs, but now I don't trust the ones I do see. Too bad. Nice store otherwise. read more

I ordered grocery delivery from this King Soopers location. Ended up getting five Frozen Pizzas which I did not order was charged $32 for them. I called them and got referred to 3 different numbers till I got their "click list department". I was assured that I had not been charged for the items. I asked "Then why is it on my bank statement?" They told me again that I was not charged. I eventually got nowhere and hung up on them out of frustration. Then I e-mailed King Soopers with no response. I have had problems with this store in the past, so this was the final straw. I wouldn't recommend this store to my worst enemy!!!! read more

I bought a couple of Christmas trees after Christmas. Quentin in the GM dept was very helpful. Not only was he readily available to help, but he also neatly packed my tree in the box and helped me load the items. It didn't look at all like a bought a display discounted after season Christmas tree. It's usually a struggle just to find the right help, but not at this location! read more

Each generation of urban sprawl brings a new generation of King Soopers, and each one is a little fancier, though bigger. This King Soopers falls into the older, though still suburban, category. While clean and well-stocked, it lacks some of the organic and natural items found at larger stores. Its deli also lacks some items found at other stores, including shredded chicken breast. On the plus side, it's open 24 hours and had a good bakery. read more

I've been going to this King Soopers location for many years. They've been going through a remodeling and I was looking forward to seeing the final results. In the end, there are a few improvements but most of it isn't so good. The improvements all seem to reside in the produce and deli departments. They've always had good produce, but now the aisles are spaced farther apart. That's good when it's crowded. The regular deli seems the same, but they've added a section of cheeses and sushi. The sushi looks fine, but I'd have to be desperate to buy sushi premade at a grocery store. There are what looks like hundreds of cheeses but I rarely buy cheese. The other changes seem to be that they've made sections smaller. I was there today on a Monday afternoon and they no longer sell Boca sausage or hamburger crumbles, Vanilla Coke Zero or Arrowhead water in the sport bottle. There were about half as many Clif Bar flavors as before. The last time I was there they had no celery (seriously!). The woman who was at the checkout counter said they were also carrying a lot fewer options in the facial tissue aisle as well. Are these the improvements? I haven't been to any other stores in a long time but it looks like it's time to check them out. There's no reason to fight all of the traffic at the door to this King Soopers if you still have to go to another store to complete your shopping list. This bums me out. read more

Great selection on healthy food in general (grass-fed beef, organic chicken, etc). 3 stars due to crappy parking, ALWAYS crowded (even during a weekday early afternoon) and on the small size for this area. TIP: there is parking in the back near the frozen yogurt place. I advise to park there or in front of the Hallmark store. read more

I was at this King Soopers at Northpark Plaza Sunday waiting in Vine. I'm disabled and when it was my turn, I didn't know it because she was staring at me with a scowl on her face but I thought maybe that's Cal wasn't for me but I said hello and he didn't say anything back. I said, how are you doing today? She didn't say anything back and so I put my phone number into the machine. I asked her if she would please double bag my food and she didn't say anything and I asked how much something was and she didn't say anything so I asked her again and she didn't say anything so I moved over a little bit and looked at the screen and saw how much it was. Then she proceeded to start throwing my groceries; I asked if she would please be careful because I don't want my coffee to open. Then she started throwing them harder and the manager came over and asked if everything is okay and I said, I'm worried about my groceries because she's throwing them. And so he apologized. I felt subhuman. I will never go back to this King Soopers. It made me want to stop being nice to people but I can't do that because then that'll just keep spreading the misery she threw at me. Still, I have been having a nice day and my just came in there for several things and I don't want to risk going back to that King Soopers and having my day ruined again. Also, now it's Monday and I was asked to review this... and now I'm feeling awful again. I have video of her throwing my food and the manager taking notice in the background and then coming over. I would have appreciated if he had taken over for her, rather than letting her continue to check me out. read more

I have always found great produce and helpful employees here. The produce department has a super helpful man named Johnathon that has helped me many times picking out the good produce. The meat market also has a very helpful man (I wish I knew his name!) that will give me honest answers on different products. The manager Tom has even helped me with products! I couldn't find a certain name brand of tofu so he gifted me two bricks because they didn't have my brand. Everyone that has helped me is awesome and I will continue to go back to this store, even though I pass two other locations on the way. read more

I was really excited about getting to go to King Soopers again. It's the grocery store of my childhood and it's just comfortable to be there, you know? WRONG. I kind of hate this location. There's no deli selection to speak of (where's my choices? I don't want store-brand turkey!!), it looks a little old and run-down, and I had to wait in line for almost half and hour to check out. Seriously. I was exhausted and wanted to cry. Luckily the cashier was really nice (yay Colorado people, I love you!) or I might have just lost it. I'll probably be back here for picking up last minute necessities just because it's so close to my place, but for the big trips I will definitely be going somewhere else. read more

However, I work in the burbs and found this King Soopers on one of my routes home.This is a pretty nice Kings I will say - clean, the people are nice, there is a wide selection of everything I am looking for and I get the credit for the gas discounts. I live in federal heights so it makes sense for me to shop this location. The pharmacy is convenient and I have my shopping list down to a science. They have everything I need in one location. I'm not someone that clips coupons or shops at three different grocery stores every week to save money. My time is more valuable than saving a few bucks. I do feel like the prices and selection is great. The parking lot can be an issue during busy times or snowy weather. Most of the employees are very nice. I have been shopping there long enough that I will stand in my favorite checkers lines even if it is not the shortest. I like this store but I selfishly wouldn't mind if some of the other shoppers would go across the street to Safeway. They are thing I would get rid of. read more

This location is not up to par and Mgmt. doesn't care! Anyone notice that the name brands are dissipating while they stock the shelves with Kroger labels. Pharmacy takes a minimum of 45 minutes. Bakery items are poor quality. No matter the time of day I always am bagging my own groceries because they are short handed and my number one issue is there are not enough cart returns or employees gathering and bribing carts inside due to people leaving them in the parking lot. Every time I go here there are an abundance of carts in the lot running free hitting cars. Don't recommend this location! Months later, no change. We changed locations. read more
