World Market has fallen. I'm tired of going in for a food I like that I've purchased there before…read moreonly to find it isn't carried anymore. It's annoying. Then, yesterday I placed an online order. There were supposedly only two of an item left that I wanted two of. I suspected that might happen and I was prepared to be told they didn't have them. I was right, but I was never told. My Mom, the person who picked the items up for me, was the one to tell me. As if that wasn't annoying enough, I can't figure out why I'm still being charged for those items. So, I call. "Well", she says, "They're on back order and we should be getting them tomorrow." Like I'm going to ask my Mom to go out of her way to go get them. "Well", she says, "We can cancel them." Yes! Why was I not told? "Well", she says, "Because it's all digitized." Why did I not get a receipt? "Well", she says, "because the pick up doesn't come with a receipt." Please, give me more excuses as to why YOU couldn't do the job you are paid to do! I'd also like to know why my order said it was ready for pickup when it wasn't. Why wasn't I called? It would have been really simple to call me and say, "Two of the items you ordered should be on the truck tomorrow. Would you like to wait for them?" My answer would have been, "Thank you so much for calling me! Yes! We can wait to pick up the rest of the order!"

Please give this store your business, the employees there are just phenomenal. Shout out to Kenzie who helped me with the tote lid that some a$$hole ran over on purpose right after leaving the store. She replaced my lid free of charge after telling her my sob story. Good folks work here; give them their dues where it counts! Edit: ghetto and bullet holes? Are you freaking kidding me?? This is your run-of-the-mill Big Lots. It's not an unsafe area, AT ALL. I live in this same neighborhood. Previous poster must not understand what ghetto really is, and this isn't it at all. Edit two: After reading previous posts, I guess this store is under new management. The store is well-kept and clean, at least as clean as a store in an old strip mall can be.

What's not to like about Trader Joe's?…read more I was invited to my dear friend's home for Christmas dinner this past year and her son-in-law offered to make me a dirty martini with Trader Joe's lemon stuffed olives along with the juice. Immediately I was hooked, so much that I had to go there on 12/30/25. Surprisingly the store was moderately busy and with the help from a very friendly staff member, I was able to locate them. The store is well organized and stocked and as usual, the staff members are very helpful and friendly.

There are times when I go, and I feel like it's black Friday when it comes to certain sections like all of the sample stations, however, Costco meets our needs for specific things. As for the value of items, it just depends on what you're buying. Not ideal for everyone - I get it. And for those of you who love samples, it's like a feast during peak times which I try to avoid.

Simply look for a colorful, bright yellow store with rainbow letters reading MERCADO! Upon working at the Samuel Building next door, I was always curious about the Lowe's Mercado shopping experience. The regional supermarket chain, is based primarily in West Texas and South Texas and throughout New Mexico!! Not many locations to shop at. In fact, this particular location the only one in this area. The company also operates stores in my state Colorado, Arizona and Kansas. The company's home office is in Littlefield, Texas. The selection has always been great! Some items commonly found in Latino households are sold here. They've got daily made "bolillos, queso fresco, flan, piñatas, sugar cane!" etc etc. I notice they carry lots of the Peruvian products that take almost half of an aisle: ají amarillo, maracuyá, inka cola, tarí, etc etc. Everyone is warm and friendly. They've added self-checkout registers these days due to the Pandemic, which is helpful! Store was well stocked with a lot of variety. Only regret is that I have driven past the store a million times and today was my first visit.

Several dozen people were just picking through open bins of junk. I had no real desire to go pawing around open stuff just being handled by anyone and everyone. The eastern side of the building was a tad more useful as it was showcasing inexpensive furniture, mattresses, tools and other such items. I didn't see any real order or method to the madness. It comes across very unorganized and arbitrary. I left without buying anything and doubt I will ever have the desire to return. Not impressed. Not even a little.

The only negative thing I can say about this retailer is that they have a horrible layaway policy, but it could possibly be just those particular stores I've visited with a lack of space so you can barely utilize their layaway option. Some cool facts are: Marshalls has over 1,000 American stores, including larger stores named Marshalls Mega Store, covering 42 states and Puerto Rico, and 61 stores in Canada. Marshalls first expanded into Canada in March 2011.
