This is my grocery store of choice. It's always clean and the staff is so friendly. I actually know some of the staff by name. I must say when I see one of them, I feel like I'm in my neighborhood store. A little tidbit of information you may not know, this location is not a union store. (Which I didn't know was an option.) I had ordered something and the delivery goes through instacart. The item was marked as delivered but actually wasn't. I called in and found out they delivered it 3 doors away. I was told they couldn't resend but would refund my money which would take a week. When I called the store, they released all liability to the 3rd party vendor. Trying to just receive my order took over half hour of calls, being on hold and terrible customer service. Definitely don't use delivery through this store or company. Any mess ups they point the other way and hold up your money instead of correcting the error in a timely fashion. read more

Watch out buying King Soopers Gift Cards. I typically buy $300 for the week.. I have a card, I verified it was activated and had $ on it, then threw away the grocery receipt. The card keeps coming up "Card Error" even though the store also verified there is money on it. They told me to call a help line. They help line verified funds but told me without the original receipt I'm out of luck. I didn't accept that answer, so they sent me to an advance help desk. Unfortunately, they're telling me the same thing. I asked why I'm getting a Card Error message, and they said maybe the card is scratched... SO even though they see my money on there, the scratch makes it their money.. NOT HAPPY read more

This is the King Soopers by my house and I go there all the time. Those digital coupons really help to save money! Colby and Paulina took the time to help me set up my digital coupon app and how to use it. They were kind and patient. I always see Colby there taking charge and he is very kind and professional the way he treats customers and the other employees. I shop at that store all the time. Been going here for years and it's really taken a turn for the worst since 2019. My biggest issue is the checkout process. The checkers are slow and inconsiderate when it comes to lines. They would rather chat up the customers then speed them through. Also, what happened to all the baggers? Seems like they are poorly staffed or poorly managed. Please improve your progress and get it to where it should be. read more

Gotta admit that I had never seen or heard of King Soopers until I recently moved to Colorado. Turns out it's part of the Kroger brand, a long time favorite back east. Bright, modern, well-stocked, and I was completely blown away at the discounts and sales available by obtaining one of their savings cards. The key here seemed to be buying items in bulk - I was able to score a bunch of cans of Rockstar Energy Drink for $1 apiece by buying 10, $1 2 liters by buying 4, etc. I usually buy in bulk whenever I can, but this place was really kicking the sales up a notch or two. Not sure if this particular location had any other services, but according to the main website, they've also got healthcare, wine/spirit home delivery, and housewares departments. Definitely recommend. Located in a huge shopping center with various fast food outlets and lots of other shops. read more

Stay away from this store if you can. Their under construction which I'm sure will be nice when their done but right now it's a disaster. I couldn't get half the things I really needed because they have shelves blocked with pallets, lifts, and other construction materials. Bought a gallon of milk and didn't notice til I got home that there was a hole in it. Both construction workers and King Soopers employees were running around the store with carts, nearly running into me. Very unprofessional. read more

Staff is always nice, store is generally clean and I have never waited longer than five minutes in the checkout lines! Keep. Up the good work! The one thing I would recommend would be tho send people out mire often to collect carts, as the parking lot is always littered with them. read more

I'd like to have given more stars based on several employees who are very friendly, especially a bearded young man who works in produce. Sadly, this one star is all because of the disgusting night deli staff. When not ignoring customers, they're hacking up a lung over the equipment. When they do deign to serve customers, when slicing and packaging meat, they don't change their gloves. Truly reprehensible. Health inspectors need to be alerted to the unsanitary practices of the night deli trash ... I mean "staff" ... and they should all be sacked immediately. Also, as an act of humanitarian mercy, they should be sent to an infectious disease ward at very secluded hospital. I'd drink typhoid infested sewage water before getting anything from this King Soopers' deli. read more

This K-Soops needs some work. Not sure if it's a exterior facelift or a complete cleaning. If has an odor when you you walk in the door that I can't quite put my finger on. It does not have a sushi station like other King soopers. Kind of a bummer, but not the end of the world. I have put in multiple requests for peanut butter Oreo cookies. You literally have to fill out a form in triplicate and submit it to them. I have done this three times without any luck. They may or may not think I am crazy. I would recommend the K soops on 136th and Colorado. read more

If you're going to the store for something specific, this store WON'T have it. I don't know why I keep going to this location. It's the closest KS to my house, and I hate that. I end up having to drive farther to go to other locations. But when I'm in a pinch and need something quick, I'll stop here. And without a doubt they always don't have everything I need. Whether it's because the item is sold out or not stocked or if they simply don't carry it, I always end up having to go to another store. The produce department is particularly terrible. Really seems empty every time I go. Picked over and cluttered. The meat section is also another sore spot. I don't understand how they can consistently be out of items I need. No matter the day or time I venture to the store. Save some time and go to a different location. The best one in the area is off 128th and Huron (it's a little west of Huron, but that's the closest cross street I know of). Or, go to sprouts on 120th. read more

This is a shout out to the deli department ! Hey ! When I ask for a pound of sliced mesquite smoked turkey.....please remember to make sure your slicer is re-adjusted after your last customer ordered salami so thin that you could see through it !!! My son and I took (his) turkey away from the deli, and as we were walking...we watched as it shredded into the consistency of TUNA FISH ! Not kidding, he would have had to use a spoon to get it out of the bag to make a sandwich ! We quietly abandoned it in a cold deli case, as I really did not want to wait five more minutes while she re-sliced our meat. I have never seen meat sliced that thin....ever. This location of King Soopers' isn't bad at all, but I do appreciate the one on 136th a bit more. This one is just older, but everything is really easy to find and they always have a manager standing in the front to direct you whenever you are looking around, I love that! When I need something I just find the manager and ask and they usually even take me to what I need, it's amazing. The layout is good, the butcher is good, bakery is good. Overall? Good. read more

I have shopped this store for many years; recently they did a major remodel which turned out beautiful . However every since the remodel they have stopped carrying MARIES BLUE CHEESE VINAIGRETTE salad dressing and I am having a hard time finding it. Just visited the King Soopers on 120th and Colorado to pick up a few items and maybe something for dinner. Usually we can get in and out fairly easily and the staff is friendly. I don't know what happened today, but everyone I spoke to was rude. From the deli people, to the girl collecting carts in the parking lot, to the check out person Chelsea who was having some kind of fight with the person who was bagging our groceries. Try to speak to a manager but none was to be found anywhere. read more

This King Soopers is typically dirty and out of stock on at least any one item I am shopping for. The shelves in the bakery are almost always bare which is tough when I shop with my daughter and she wants a free cookie. Not only are there no cookies but nothing else to substitute them with since the shelves are typically bare. It's a shame because I think the sad state of this grocery store reflects badly on the properties around it. I am looking to move out of the area and one of the first things I am going to look for is a grocery store that takes pride in its appearance and has stock on the shelves. I try to shop at grocery stores other than this one but since it is the closet to where a live it's difficult to avoid. The only redeeming quality of this disgraceful store is that the check out staff are generally very nice and courteous. read more

Not a bad King Soopers location, but not the best either. This is where we shop for many of our goods, but it lacks many things including an olive/snack bar. I find their produce to be fair to good, but the meat section is very limited, as it is in most places. I find the general organization of the store to be very spread out and generally hard to navigate. They could do so much as a company to improve their offerings from more ready to eat meals to offering email receipts instead chopping down a tree with every grocery receipt. read more

This is the regular grocery store that we shop at. The store is always well organized and the produce is fresh. There are always extra people to help if you need something. This king Soopers is close to work and i go there often. Produce is usually fresh and the staff is helpful and pleasant to talk to. I haven't been very impressed with the deli. I get sushi from them for lunch from time to time and it always seems to fall apart and taste a little off. i haven't ever gotten sick, but i have had much better sushi from other grocery stores. Other than that this place is great. lots of options, lots of helpful staff, and plenty of express checkouts if you are just stopping in to grab something quick. read more

We shop at this store at least twice a week and have had mostly good experiences with the employees. Last night my husband went to the customer service counter to make a few separate transactions. He paid the utility bill, asked about tickets to Elitchs, and bought water world tickets as well as a few other items. Even though there was nobody behind him, the employee (Kayla) began getting agitated with each transaction. My husband was perplexed as to why she chose a career in customer service if she clearly doesn't like her job. She even had the audacity to tell him to walk all the way across the store to return his hand basket when she already had two stacked behind her. Promoted, advertised in their weekly ad, online ,etc was a "Saturday only" (12/2/17)special on Crisco oil. Between 12 & 1:30pm the store was out completely. No sign, no explanation. Just empty shelves with customers asking each other if they had seen it. The store manager(Herb) and his assistant told me they had gotten 25 cases and they were out. Sold on a first come, first served basis. Another customer I shared this with commented "right". Asked if we could get a substitute or a rain check, the answer was a firm "No". Issue 2) Needed a roast cut by the store's meat clerk/butcher. I was informed that we don't cut meat with bones in them.(Not making this crap up). Attn: Kroger-HORRIBLE customer service, lousy planning, inattentive to your customers and unwilling to correct your mistakes. Who the hell needs you? Thornton/Westy/Northglenn folks. There is a Walmart close by, a Safeway & Whole Foods a short distance away, and a Sprouts just North near 120th & Washington(16 blocks). read more

The fruit and vegetable area needs serious attention...rotten tomatoes, rotten strawberries, package salads are often full of spoiled rotten greens, fresh peppers are soft and old, etc. Things are missing off the shelves every time I go. Wouldn't you order more if the same item is always gone. Will find another store to spend my money. read more

There is always someone checking prices or items in most every isle. The place looks like it needs to have a thorough cleaning. Today The cashier acted like it was really a bother to wait on me. I have been shopping at this King Soopers for over 25 years now. I imagine I have spent over a quarter of a million dollars there over the years. Their service has been getting worse and worse, and I finally have had enough. I went in on a Friday evening at 5:20 and ordered a chicken meal. My grandkids love macaroni and cheese and I was buying dinner. They were out of mac and cheese and told me why not give them cole slaw. I replied, "Seriously, you are going to make me go to Safeway?" They laughed and said sorry in a tone that said they were anything but. I talked to the manager and his reply was the same. I have overlooked the issues I have had with them(such as being out of the King Soopers/Kroger standard milk repeatedly), but I get it. They really do not care about my business any more. So I will not give them any more business. I would rather drive further and get my groceries elsewhere. read more
