At first, I thought TKS to be a great pharmacy, but my opinion has changed dramatically. The one positive thing I can say is that the wait is always short. Now the things that have gotten worse over time: 1. The staff are not well trained, nor are they always pleasant (pharmacist included). Turnover seems high which indicates problems at the business. 2. They rarely have the medications I take daily on hand despite needing refills every month. Thus, they always "have to order them". Orders rarely arrive when promised and were sometimes not ordered at all until I arrived to get them. Extra trips = poor service. 3. They are inconsistent in what they charge and especially inconsistent or uneducated about pharmaceutical company savings cards or programs. 4. It is ironic that they play religious / Christian music yet have no qualms about overcharging their customers and refusing to rectify the situation. I am tired of having to work so hard just to pay the correct amount and not what they demand. Way too much hassle! The final straw was being told I had to pay nearly $200 for a refill that has cost me $25 for years. They insisted my savings card was applied correctly. I pushed back. The pharmacist (Alice) was very rude and told me to call my insurance company. She clearly did not understand that the issue was not related to insurance. I paid the demanded price and asked how to get a refund when I resolved the issue. The pharmacist said they don't do refunds. Honestly, the problem was on the TKS side, and they should have resolved it. Maybe they'll give my overpayment to Jesus. I immediately went to Walmart to ask the price for the same medication. They gave me the correct copay of $25. This was no more than 10 minutes after I paid eight times that amount to TKS. Because of all these increasingly negative issues and experiences, I will no longer give them my business and cannot recommend them.

    This pharmacy does what it should, though the service you get greatly depends on who answers the…read morephone. There seems to be one person (maybe the pharmacist?) who knows what they are doing and follows up with requests, while the other 2 (maybe more) I spoke with took note of things and had to ask someone else for help each time or didn't give me a call back when I was supposed to get one. It'll work in a pinch as the main pharmacy in this neighborhood, but I wouldn't want to use it outside of emergencies. Too much of a hassle to get answers.

We have never had any complaints or issues with this location, they have always been very friendly, and helpful with any prescription questions that we have had. Unfortunately, my wife came down with Covid 19 from over the weekend, and our Doc put in a prescription for Paxlovid (the common cure for Covid now days). Well, to my surprise, I go to pick up the prescription and the price is over $300.00, with insurance (no longer the government issue, commercial issue now). It wasn't that I didnt have the money to pay for it, I want my wife to get better. I would pay $1k if I had to, just so my wife could get rid of this crud. But it was the sticker shock of what the cost was before, compared to now. Janea "The pharmacist" must have seen the look on my face, and proceeded to tell me about a program that I could apply for, that could bring the cost of the medicine down in price and possibly save me a couple hundred dollars. She gave me the paper to call, which I texted to my wife, within a matter of few minutes she was approved, gave her a card to show to the pharmacist, which she emailed to me, and I kid you not, the bill for the Paxlovid came down from over $300.00 down to $0.00 out of pocket! Most employee's would not go out of their way to help their customers save money in this day in age. However, I do have to say that "Janea" (again, sorry if the spelling is wrong), deserves a big pat on her back, for her customer service, friendliness, and willing to step out of the box and go the extra mile and offer assistance, in a situation like this. Walgreens, you have a very valuable employee here, an asset to Walgreens. Make sure you treat her well, because she most defiantly looks out for her customers, and their needs.
