I generally love the store, but the deli has really gone to shit. They don't clean the slicer ever and it was so gross last time. I didn't even order. It looked like there was dead flies. They were smashed on it.

This review is specifically about the pharmacy. I got my covid shot a few days ago and it was the easiest process once I got my appointment. First, if you are getting vaccinated here the pharmacy is in the back of the store directly back from the floral department. I got there 5 minutes early which was plenty of time. You need to go to the drop off line. Everyone in line should be getting their vaccine if it is before 10am. Have your id and your insurance ready and it will only take 2 minutes to get you from that counter into the seat where you will be vaccinated. The shot portion from waiting in line to getting my shot was less than 5 minutes since I was on time. Please make sure you are on time to keep this organized. It makes a huge difference in getting everyone vaccinated. Bring a book or something to keep you occupied for 15 minutes. You will need to hang out in one of the socially distanced chairs to make sure you don't have side effects. I just want to thank the king Soopers pharmacy team for doing a great job getting all of us vaccinated. It was a completely stress free experience and I really appreciated everyone I came into contact with.

Once again, not sure why I torture myself coming to this place. They have over 10 regular checkout lanes, NONE of which are open. Then they have nine self check out lanes of which only four are open. So as I go to check out, there's about seven people waiting in line halfway down the store isle because there's only four lanes of self check out open. That is utterly ridiculous. Not sure why, if you're going to make this store almost exclusively self checkout, you wouldn't open up the other five self checkout lanes.

ZERO Stars!!! If I lived in the same state, I'd be there in person talking to the manager. Your store has the laziest employees. I happened to find out my 80+ year old mother was in your Golden store early morning on a weekday to do her typical weekly shopping. The checkout girl couldn't even be bothered to help her bag her groceries. She told my mom that she had to bag her groceries herself. WTF is WRONG with your store & employees?!?!!! WHO even hires idiots like this?! Incompetent and just plain mean!!!!!

here's a shining example of the pick-up department and their selection of produce for customers

this stores pick up department has consistently given us bad produce on nearly every pick up. the level of disregard for health is insane.

I called the next day to ask if they had any headphones at the lost and found and they confirmed they had my Bose headphones. I come in around 9 pm asking for it and the guy working at the self checkout tells me they don't have it. He 'calls' his manager and his manager also says there were no headphones. I tried explaining that I called earlier, however he refused to check and kept telling me to just write my phone number down. After having to insist having the manager come over, I was met with a lot of bad attitude. He stated they didn't have it, and after having him go back and check for my headphones TWICE, he suddenly "found" them and handed it to me. Genuinely no clue what is going on with the employees who work there at night. Both the manager (Mike) and cashier (glasses, tall, brown hair) were absolutely terrible to interact with.

The manager told me to let the produce guy know, but this is beyond a one-time event. It is a pattern. Pharmacy:5 Checkout: mixed. The nosey person is overly "friendly" but is trying. She seems lonely and may not be coachable. Overall service: 3 Some of the managers seem to try, but they need some corporate support around service and produce. I'll go there for the pharmacy and be sure to check expiration dates for groceries. I'll be going to King Soopers and Natural Grocers for produce.

One of the employees also gave me advice on how to cook them so they turned out their best. Additionally I came in a few days ago and got a grilled cheese/veggie sandwich. The sandwich was great, came on sourdough, had a good array of veggies, and they made it quickly The sides were a little lacking to my taste but I'm just not a big fan of potato/pasta salad type dishes and got a bag of Lays instead. I definitely recommend stopping in to buy some cheese for home or for a quick lunch/sandwich.

Since the family is Celiac and we're not, we needed a little glutenous snack before the gluten-free holiday. This spot is located in an unassuming shopping center next to a few specialty shops and a Burger King. We went in and there was a line of people waiting to pick up their cheese boards for the next day. We checked out the menu as we waited, watching the beautiful boards come out one after the other and deciding if we should just order a board to take with us. We went with the Bay of Pigs - their Cubano style sandwich with a side of the southwestern pasta salad. After grabbing a table and drooling over more of the gorgeous cheese trays that walked out, they brought our sandwich over to us. While small, it was still generously stuffed with perfectly slow roasted pork, ham, spicy mustard, pickles, cheese and an interesting addition of cabbage that gave it a fun crunch. The southwestern pasta salad was SPICY and studded with small bits of cheese. We inquired about the boards which ranged from $13 - $150, and learned they average about $10/head. Since we needed to get up the hill, we decided to stop by another time to grab one for a future holiday since they offer gluten-free options. Super friendly and quick staff, delicious food, and just a cute atmosphere overall.

Once inside there is a first floor that has a few different food options as well as the pour your own beer options as well. In order to partake in the beer option, you need to get a card that you can tap to the machine and you pay per the ounce. They have other drinks beside beer on tap as well such as different types of cocktails. They have a great food selection. That includes many different varieties of food throughout the venue as well. The top floor also has a few additional beer options as well as food options. I decided to go with a barbecue option which I got a brisket sandwich which was really good as well as a side of fries and some of the barbecue sauce. I also got a beer on top from one of the local breweries. It was a chilly day out, but I still wanted to sit on the patio on the top deck, so we sat by a fireplace. They have a ton of different fireplaces, all throughout the top deck as well as the lower deck as well so sitting outside was an option for the time of the year that I was there which was March. Maybe in the dead of the winter they don't have this option but just keep that in mind. Anyways, I thought the view of the course brewery factory right across the way was really cool to see as well. The food was really good and I love getting beer by the ounce because if you don't like the beer, you can just get a different one and you don't have to make a whole glass pour every time you get one. I definitely would recommend the golden mill. It definitely seems like a place that a lot of locals hang out and there is a food or beverage option for everyone so even picky eaters would love this place. We were with a visitor who had been there when in Golden for a…read moreconference and thought we would like the concept of a food hall and like the sort of food she had there in the past. I am familiar with food halls at home in Boulder that I like and frequent regularly. This was nothing like them in so many ways. It was obvious that this is lived locally but in a holiday it was so ham packed that it was unpleasant for a newcomer to negotiate. Yes, for beer lovers the concept of self serve from the many taps and pay by the ounce Baxter so many in stock is novel, but I don't drink beer or margaritas and I could not find a simple ice tea. There were sodas from a machine which also did not suit me either. The concept of the scan card seems good for the cafeteria atmosphere and the beer supply but the food places did take credit cards, where at least you see the receipt etc. you leave the card in a box when you leave and they charge the credit card you entered to get it. No real review apparently by the customer. Most of the food I saw in menus and the tables were not my style either, huge portions of mediocre looking food. My husband had trouble figuring it part of the ingredient in the biggest burrito I have ever seen. He could not pick it up fore the crema decorating the tortilla which was thicker than any I've ever seen. On the other hand, my food was fairly good though grease dripped out at every bite. It was a Gordita made with crisp little corn cakes and the al pastor filling was tasty. The others in the group all had large portions of unappealing to me food so I did not taste and far too. Big for a healthy lunch. While we were eating at compared communal tables , the restrooms across from them were propped open for the steady stream of users. But on a holiday weekend a prime lunch time when we arrived, it was the only option. The entry line to get the pay card was nearby and the line went up the stairs to the entry with at least 20 to get and register the card, many with children in tow. Our guest knew where to park so that was no problem jf you are willing to pay to park for a meal. We were, but would have lived a quality meal and not a madhouse. The only staff person I spoke with because her food was dessert and not peak season for ice cream was so friendly and helpful and mad a custom snack size of her New Zeland style treat. She saved the day for me. I will not return but others in our party might should the occasion arise and clearly the locals who are regulars keep them well supported. I will stick with my local more intimate and curated food hall kitchens.
