This store is extremely clean and fully stocked with anything that you could need. I was coming down from my hotel one night and I was really hungry. I ended up going to the deli area and got a King Soopers meal from the man behind the counter. He was extremely congenial and we began talked to where he explained this is one of the busiest stores in the country. He exuded wonderful customer services. I was very impressed with the store and it is in a nice area. I highly recommend coming here for all of your needs. They have EVERYTHING! read more

I'm fortunate enough to work just down the street from this location. I usually stop here after work and prefer this location over others in my northwest Denver neighborhood. The produce section is always fresh and has a lot to choose from. They have an excellent gourmet cheese and deli counter. Their meat and seafood selection is fantastic. The kicker...they sell beer, wine, and liquor in house and have an attache gas station. Whole Foods is also a stones throw from my office, but I prefer this King Soopers for the reasonable prices, great selection, and cleanliness. read more

Gourmet describes this place, but you will find the pricing matches gourmet also in some instances. The floral is tops for sure in selection. I REALLY dislike the lines, though, which are incredibly difficult to navigate after a hard day .... it's really hard to park (I had a driver hit me when parking here, in fact), hard to get through the store and hard to check out. I also found the self-check attendant to be rude, distracted and annoyed when I needed her help. She was visiting with another employee and when I made my need known, she was visibly unhappy. They've done some nice things here. I just wish it wasn't such a zoo to get in and out and that the staff were a bit better trained to deal with crowds. read more

This store is really really bad. Most of the workers seem like they are overworked, never enough staff. The pharmacy is grossly understaffed. I was on hold for 45 minutes and hung up on twice. In this instance I rate KS a one star. My wallet was stolen while I shopped there. I discovered it when I got home. I called and received friendly unhelpful service. Drove back down there, got the same friendly unhelpful service. Yes of course I will still shop there. It was my fault for not keeping a better eye on my stuff, but that 'customer service' was the most friendly f-u I've ever received. What do I want? The customer service here is questionable. I finished 75% of my grocery shopping and needed to use the restroom. I asked the clerk where it was and said I would be leaving my cart right here and would be right back. When I returned in a couple minutes my cart was nowhere to be found. I found out they had put everything back. No apologies. I started shopping again but realize I didn't have my list. They even threw my list away! And tried to deny it. No apologies. In fact, they acted like it was my fault and just shrugged their shoulders and said they didn't know what to do with the cart. No groceries, no list and having to start over... add this to the fact they are typically out of stock on many things... I won't be back. read more

This is NOT a store review. It is a KingSoopers.com website review. This just happens to be the store I frequent most often. I found no easy way on the website to pass this information along. I use king soopers digital coupons. I use the website, not the app, as I don't install 3rd party apps on my device. The KS website interface recently changed and now "clicklist" appears on every single page related to the grocery store (not the pharmacy), and thus every digital coupon page. On a tablet, or telephone, the "clicklist" now takes up approximately 1/3 of the screen. You can now see TWO coupons at MOST, at a time, when you could previously see 4-5. This makes getting through several hundred digital coupons a real chore. There is no way to turn off the "clicklist." I just spent approximately an hour on the phone with King Soopers with no success. They will "pass this information along to the digital team, and if there are "enough complaints" then it will be taken into consideration for the next "roll out." They said there is no way to get a response from the digital team or any follow up from King soopers at all. Please provide a button to turn off the website "click list!" read more

This store has everything! The alcohol section is great, great place to find deals on local beers too. I love their sushi (I'm no sushi expert but they have a good amount of variety and it always tastes fresh to me). Also a great place for produce, because this is such a big and important store, they definitely get the better stuff in (in comparison to my normal King's on Krameria). Parking can be a bit obnoxious and somehow all the crazy couponers choose this store as their victim. read more

It's probably the most up-scale King Soopers around. Great selection of food and there's the added bonus of a liquor store. The employees hit or miss. Some are friendly others are rude. One night while I was checking out at the liquor store select, the cashier ringing up my order out of no-where yelled at her coworker "hey d**k wad!" I thought it was a joke at first, but then she started dropping f-bombs at him and a wide range of other swear words. I couldn't believe what was going on in front of me. She grabbed my hand and told me the election was messing with her head. It was the most bizarre encounter I've ever experienced. I would've reported her to management but I ran out as fast as I could and didn't catch her name. read more

This is not my favorite location, but it's a King Soopers and fits the need for food shopping. This is a newer location and has more of a bourgeois feel, but the selection is different from my regular rotation of King Soops, which is why I don't like this location as much. Everything is in a different place and the selection of brands is totally different, which just really irritates me. Although this is a more upscale store, with a liquor store attached to the back, I just come here when I'm passing by or stopping to fill up my fuel tank with gas. It's an organized, clean and convenient store. The employees are always professional and kind. I love that there's a Starbucks, gas station, and liquor store as well. I do NOT recommend this location at all! I placed a pickup order on the morning of 12/17 and while I don't usually pick up my groceries same day they had a slot available at 3pm so I selected it. At 3pm I received a message that my order would be delayed an hour & would instead be available at 4pm. No big deal. I head over to the store & arrive about 4:15. It seems busy as I had to park in stall 9 for my order. The pickup area was full so I told myself I'd have to be patient. I parked, checked in & waited while other orders were brought out & eventually it was only myself & one other car still waiting. At 5:15 I called the store & let them know I had been waiting for an hour for my pickup order. The employee stated that my order had not even been shopped yet! At this point I wonder how long they were going to let me wait before someone called to let me know that my order hadn't even been started! I asked to speak to a manager & after a 10 minute wait I was connected with the manager who seemed very concerned & willing to help. He stated they were short staffed but everyone with a delayed pick up order should have been called...I was never called! I let him know that I could not come back that day & would instead be fine with picking the order up on 12/18. The manager promised me that when he came in the morning of 12/18 he would prioritize my order & have someone call me to schedule a pick up time. Saturday morning comes & I'm patient & I wait until 11:45 am before I call to check on my order because I had STILL not been called. The person that answered the phone told me that my order was STILL not ready because it had STILL not even been shopped!!! I immediately asked to speak with the manager again & the girl sighed loudly as if annoyed & said "if he's available" and put me on hold. I spoke with the manager again & let him know my order had still not been shopped to which he said he had told the team to prioritize my order. He stated he would personally walk over & have the pick up supervisor personally shop my order & give me a call when it was ready. I waited 2.5 more hours & called the store again only to be told that my order was ready but they had been waiting on ME to call them!! Epic lack of communication & no real follow through at any point. It should not take 24 hours to resolve an issue & get my order to me. Let me add that this was a small grocery order of less than 20 items!! Idk what's going on at this store but shopping in person, and now apparently, picking up is a complete disaster! I will order from ANY other KS location even if it means driving miles out of my way. I will never shop here again! read more

I almost always use the quick checkout (15 items or less), and the cashiers there are always the friendliest. They'll make small talk with you, and they have the best attitude. Whenever I need to find something in the store, there's always one guy in produce who's so accommodating. Instead of just pointing in the direction of the product and saying "Aisle 4", he will walk with me to find it. read more

Well, I have been to the Holy Mount, and now there is a glorious reason to camp in the valley below. (I'm actually referring to the gold dome and to the new King Soopers below on Leetsdale Drive). This is the most amazing grocery store I have been into that wasn't a Whole Foods, Sunflower, or other specialty-foods type store. A store I'd actually WANT to shop in again. This massive store has everything you'd ever want, plus a whole lot you didn't think you wanted till you came across it then suddenly couldn't live without. The seafood department had the nicest array of ingredients! whole stripers, red snappers, 4 types of salmon, 3 kinds of live clams, live lobsters, the freshest shucked oysters I've seen outside of an oyster bar. (I'd actually eat these raw, right there on the spot..) smoked and kippered fish, just good looking and smelling. The produce department is huge, with great variety and good looking organic local vegetables and fruits. I don't normally look at the salads in the deli as very appetizing, but these were all very fresh, and some unique items I'll be coming back for. The main score in the deli is the extensive salad bar, olive, pickle, and cured antipasti items, and pre-made take and eat items. Truly impressive! I'd say the most impressive thing is the extensive specialty wine and beer department. Were I only still a drinker, I could spend over a month in the beers sampling, but the wines would take half a year at least. I saw varietals I've never seen out of restaurants. If you don't know wine like you'd like and don't feel like asking, they have a computer terminal with a database of pairings, menus, recipes, and suggestions that could take you a long time to peruse. The prices were super-cheap all the way around. If this is what a grocery-store-with-liquor model would look like for all stores, I'd reverse my long-standing bias against a repeal of the laws prohibiting the conjoining of these businesses. My only complaint, is the parking lot. I'm sure they spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to solve a bad problem, but I don't think they figured it out. The east and west side entrances and exits will be super nasty during peak congestion, as was experienced by many during the opening week. I'd park on the east side, along the building vs in the lot, and slip in and out the back, or south entrance. King Soopers should be applauded for taking a huge, vacant eyesore, in a hard market, and converting it into a flagship grocery store I can't wait to continue to shop in.. Just had an awful experience here. Went and bought a bottle of Tequila before doing the rest of my shopping, paid in the liquor store and put the bottle at the bottom of my cart. Went, did my shopping, went to the cash register, paid, and had all of my groceries bagged (brought my own re-usable bags). Although I didn't see the bottle of tequila off to the side, I figured it would be present in one of the re-usable bags that I had brought and went on my way. Upon arriving at home, the bottle was no where to be seen. I called the store and was told to come back in to figure the situation out, as no one had found the bottle of liquor (big surprise). Customer service told me to go shop again for the bottle and bring it back to the front. So I did exactly that; went back to the liquor store, grabbed the bottle, spoke to the liquor cashier who instructed me just to leave, made my way back to customer service to verify I was good to go, and was then confronted with the Liquor Store Manager yelling at me, telling me that her clerks had done nothing wrong at all and treating me like a criminal. Despite having my receipt both for my $180 grocery bill and my $25 liquor receipt, I was treated like a thief and told to get lost. My multiple attempts to explain myself and even asking to perhaps check the cameras to validate my story were met with nothing but resistance (told the only way to rectify anything was to file an official police report, seriously?). Extremely alienating and poor experience. I suppose lesson learned, always check to make sure your cashiers are including all your produce and alcohol because they definitely won't believe you and will definitely ridicule you. read more

I shop here a ton. I buy groceries. I buy beers and liquor. I spend a ton of money here and never have been treated so poorly ANYWHERE until today. I went in the liquor store looking for a particular beer that was just released. I did not see it so I asked a gentleman named Paul who said he thought he saw a box for it in the back and it just recently came in. He went in the back and grabbed me two bottles of it and said the limit on those were two. I asked "is there any way to get 3.. I have been looking for it at about 7 stores and they don't even have it yet" and he was nice and said yes, it made my day! When I get up to the register the "customer service" (using that term very loosely) rep Rafiq grabbed the bottles and simply said "NO. you can not get 3 of these" I was like "oh, Paul in the back just said I could and he grabbed them for me" Rafiq said "no these have a limit of one per customer." Feeling a bit thrown off I stated why would a sales man in the back tell me two but then eased up to 3 when this guy is telling me its a strict limit of one? Then the truth comes out, Rafiq has some customer/friends that want some of that limited release beer so if I buy 3 his friends have to buy less. They probably throw him a bone for it. He says they keep that beer (and who knows how many others) in the back so "regular" customer like myself can't even buy it! This is one SHADY way to run a business. I asked to speak to a manager when he says he is the manager... even tho his name tag says "head clerk" which I stated and he swore that "head clerk" was the same as "store manager"....some how. I have spent +/- $200 here on beer alone in the last month (we know craft beer addiction is expensive). I have NEVER heard such a terrible way to treat a customer, telling them that they are just a regular customer and his VIPs need to get their hands on stuff so I can't. Shouldn't it be first come first serve. Shouldn't it be OUT ON THE SHELVES and not hidden in the back warehouse so only your friends can buy it. I know other stores have limits but they also put the item on shelves so "regular" customers can still buy up to that limit, even if that limit is one. I have a feeling the actual store manager doesn't know this type of business is taking place. Will I still shop here. Sure, which is why I didn't leave a 1 star. But this leaves a BADDDDD taste in my mouth. read more

I may live in Downtown Denver, but this is my go-to King Soopers! I drive 10-15 minutes out of my way most Sunday mornings to go to this grocery store over the others that are closer to me because it's that great. It is always clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and they have the best selection of natural/organic food of any King Soopers I've been to. The best part? It's very affordable. There's also a great liquor store in the back of the store! It does get very crowded at times, especially on a weekend afternoon, but if you go before 9 am you can get in and out very quickly. read more

Claiming not to have the prescription (they did), then claiming they needed authorization for the refill (Dr. office confirmed they provided it), then claiming they didn't have the authorization but would call "right now" (they didn't). King Soopers can vary greatly: some stores are cramped and old. Others are fantastic, new, and really nice. This is one of the really nice ones! Excellent produce, meat, wine, and booze selections. The only real negative are the crowds. Things get absolutely -crazy- on the weekends, especially in the afternoons. read more

The pharmacy is very understaffed. You have to wait in long lines at pickup, prescriptions are not filled promptly, They blame delays on the doctors' offices even when you have refills remaining. The pharmacy is staffed with interns who try hard but are unable to keep up. I am transferring my prescriptions to a pharmacy that can help me with my health needs in a timely fashion. read more

The best King Soopers in the state in my opinion! Their selection of food and booze is awesome and the checkers and baggers at the front are always so friendly. I make my weekly trip here and it's never an ordeal, everything is easy to locate and the staff is helpful. You'll see what I mean when you go. *Has a deli, a Starbucks, and bakery *Hand sanitizing towelettes upon entering for your shopping cart, your baby, your face...whatever else if you're into that sort of thing *The people at the deli/cheese counter are remarkably nice and accomodating The downsides: *Always packed, doesn't matter when you go. *The employees are nice, but there are almost never any people there to bag your groceries. It's not a huge deal, but it seems like a bagger will bag one persons groceries, and then just wander off. Not like they're going on break or anything, they just wander off, this happens almost every time I'm there. I don't where they're going, but it's not like they're going for a smoke or something. Sometimes they'll just go to a different lane, an equally if not less busy lane. I don't fully understand this. * If the cashier bags, they always use plastic without offering a paper option. If you want to use paper/ your own reusable bags, this must be stated immediately, and 90% of the time you'll be bagging everything yourself. Not a huge deal at all, but I used to cashier and never expected customers to bag their own ish. *Old @ss squeaky shopping carts.. *LOTS of folks still use checks (and take their time writing them) and use tons of coupons here. Not just that, they also take their time arguing about prices and coupons. Bottom line, I still love this place, it's sort of quirky and has long lines, just bring some patience with you and you'll be good. read more

Pharmacy here sucks. Never fill anything in a reasonable time. Rude service. Horrid. Sat behind a guy in drive-they tonight for 22 minutes (don't know how long he was here prior). FINALLY get up there and scripts aren't ready. I'll wait. Sat in drive-thru-watching to ensure no one came behind me and ready t move if they did)-and rudely asked to move. (Was ready to move if someone pulled in but they hadn't). The guy could sit there with me waiting behind for over 20 minutes but I couldn't with no one there. I got 'move lady.' Oh ok... I'm Moving-right the hell to another pharmacy and grocery store. I've sat and waited over an hour after surgery and slept in a chair here as well. So the you just lost ALL my business King Soopers! Store is always packed...lines always long....employees seem like they're half asleep

I have called in for the second month in a row to pick up my prescription but unfortunately I ran out of script so had to call and talk to them personally. This was a big mistake as they put me on hold immediately and left me on hold for a while. I then called back and got put on hold again and told her that I had already waited quite a while. She then became very nasty and when I told her she was being nasty she told me I was being rude. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else because the people that work here are overworked and under paid. I called the manager to complain and he said that they're hiring temps right now to meet all their service demands in the pharmacy. Last month I went in to personally pick up my prescription and had already waited more time than I should have and I told her that. She then started screaming at me in front of all the other customers. When I told her I just wanted my drugs so I could go home and didn't feel well she kept screaming at me and she wouldn't stop. When I told her that she should not be in a customer service position her reply was yes I know I shouldn't be in a customer service position I know I need to find a new job. She said that about eight out of 10 decimals. Who needs to be treated like this? read more

They never open on time. Also the clerks at the def checkout leave the area for long periods leaving customers unable to checkout.

Whenever we're in this part of town, this is our go-to King Soopers, for the simple convenience of being able to buy both our groceries and alcohol in one stop. They have a pretty decent selection of craft beer and whiskey, and we've found their prices competitive to other liquor stores in the area. We've even been able to find some harder to find craft beers that area liquor stores either don't carry or quickly sell out of. read more

This is probably one of the better (best?) King Soopers in the city. Very good deli, in-store Starbucks, good meats and produce, in-store (and cheap) liquor, wine, beer sales ... with a great selection, cheap fuel (including diesel). What more can you ask for? Can get absolutely packed on the weekends, including long fuel lines with people entering the pumps in both directions despite the unidirectional yellow arrows ($1.50/gal gas will do that to people). read more

This is the worst pharmacy I've ever experienced. My doctor called in an Rx on Tuesday. I called on Thursday, and they had no record of it. So I had the doctor call in another Rx on Friday. Then I called the store, and they said they had it in stock and it would be ready in an hour. But instead, I got a text saying it wouldn't be ready until the following Tuesday, a week later. I talked to the pharmacist and all he could say is they get hundreds of Rx every day, and he missed it. Thank goodness this wasn't for a life-threatening situation or I'd not be around to write this review and warn everyone to avoid this pharmacy at call costs. I certainly will from now on. read more
