I really have no complaints about this store. People complaining about wifi networks going down and some salty customer service seem to have forgotten the level of people who work here. That's no knock on the staff at all but for the most part we're talking about kids/teens and people that are very happy to have a job. I understand when people screw up, you have every right to expect the screw up to be corrected. We all have bad days. As for the WiFi - oh heaven forbid the FREE wifi go down - you should raise hell about that........(tongue firmly in cheek). 4 solid stars from me - customer service can be poor at times but not life altering. Moved to Brighton in Dec of 2018. Loved this King Soopers on how clean it was, the availability of items and how friendly the staff was. Now I hardly shop there as they never have items cooked up in the deli they always say oh it will be 30 minutes. Makes me think they say that so they dont have to work. No cashiers and if your lucky to get a cashier they dont have bangers. I have had the cashier just stand there and look at me like why am I not bagging my own groceries!!! I have left reviews from the bottom of the receipt and said yes I want someone to call me back and they NEVER DO!! I suggest going somewhere else or have Amazon deliver your groceries. read more

This corporation has got to be the worst in customer service I have ever experienced in my 25 years of being a customer. My wife and I have extreme health issues right now that prevent us from leaving the house. We have tried for over a week to get Kroger to deliver groceries to our home without success. After many phone calls to customer service. We have come to the conclusion. That Kroger does not support people with medical conditions. And that their customer service agents lack the skills or ability to provide any useful information. Even though we can see Kroger from our front yard. So I bought this cherry pie for 18$, it was called Yum Bana, don't buy it ! I had to put it in the oven the crust was white, it said it was cooked it not! It was with the cold cake. It a lot of work for a cherry pie that is over priced! It is gluten free but it is overpriced and it's messy! The beef is good meat is getting expensive since the pandemic. The pork was cheap and fed my family. I make pork chops with balsamic vinegar, chopped onions and mustard it's simple but good! Meat is expensive everywhere! So the pork and chicken go bad fast so eat it quick! Just ask my refrigerator it became a medical cabinet quickly you can tell of the smell! I told my wife I am getting sick of feeding my trash can, it getting too fat! It groceries everywhere so don't worry! The bathroom was clean! The frozen food was good I have no complaints. read more

Like many, we have need for extra ice in our home, so we bought an ice machine that uses 5 gal jugs for a water source. I have been re-filling my water jugs at my local King Soopers for over a year, until recently. All the water filling machines at both Brighton stores are broken. I've gone to 5 King Soopers in an attempt to get my jugs refilled, but they're all "out of service." Dear King Soopers, if I have to go to Walmart to buy my water, I'll get my groceries there too. Since this is the closest grocery store within 10 miles of my house obviously this is where I have to shop. They have good clothes section for men and women. I bought shirts and my wife has bought clothes their too. They have just about everything you need for groceries besides when everyone freaked out from COVID a couple months ago but that was a given with everyone all shitted from the cornholio virus. The King Soopers on 50th in Brighton has terrible pharmacy service. Everytime I go there, the line is long and my medication is never ready. I receive a text from the pharmacy saying my prescription is ready and when I get there the staff tells me they're working on it. Then I have to go shop and get back in a long line again. I don't understand why the management doesn't hire enough people to help. I spend a lot of money for groceries and the service at the pharmacy continues to get worse. The store is great. It would have 10 stars if it weren't for the bakery. We shop here all the time. The bakery really screwed up my sons birthday cake. They didn't read the order and ended up putting the center filling on the bottom of the cake. So it was super messy and hard to cut. They also used completely different colors than what my son picked. They didn't read the order. When I mentioned it to the lady she didn't even apologize. Her attitude was well what do you want me to do? They didn't seem to care either when I told them. Really sad about it but I have heard that from a few friends. :( read more

Have had numerous issues with the pharmacy getting an accurate status and cost on medications. Every time we call, the cost of the medication is different and the staff is incredibly unwilling to help explain. Many people (including myself) rely on pharmacies to provide us with help and answers regarding medications that are often times crucial to be able to live a safe, normal, healthy life. When people like my boyfriend can risk serious side effects that can be fatal if any doses of the medication are missed, it is incredibly important to get them on time, and to have a consistent cost. As a fellow healthcare worker, I was unimpressed with the pharmacy tech that I spoke with on 02/24/21 at 11:30 AM (ish) because she was more committed to getting off of the phone with me, rather than addressing any of the questions or concerns I had. Given that some medications play such large roles in peoples lives, I do not believe there is any excuse for someone to disregard someones concerns in such a belligerent way. Regardless of how your day is going, you make a promise to help people solve their questions and concerns, and relieve their anxieties because we have access to information others do not have access too, and these are their lives you are affecting. If you cannot find it in yourself to be friendly and empathetic, you should find yourself a new job. read more

The cashier scanned an item twice and I didn't notice it until I looked at my receipt when I got home. I contacted KS that same evening and it's been over a week and have not heard anything back from them. So the 1-Star is for that. Unprofessional and bad business to not address customer complaints nor offer refund/credit when their cashiers mess up. Edit: I contacted KS again and no response at the two week mark. I decided to just go into the store, even though it is actually not near me/on my way, to just get the refund. As expected, the customer service was non-existent. The store IS nice, but KS lack of response just left me feeling annoyed. What's the point of providing contact information if you are not going to respond? At this point I would rather go out of my way and go to Sprouts or Safeway, instead. Just getting groceries to make dinner. I think it depends on what you buy as to how expensive or pricey the grocery store is.

So this place sells clothes and I wanted to try some shirts on so I can start work on Monday. But when I went to someone who worked here I asked if someone had the keys for the fitting room. They told me that they don't have keys for it. So why sell clothing if your not going to have a place for someone to try something on that they want to buy? That's how you lose service. So if a manager from the store reads this maybe you can fix that or I'm not shopping at this store again. read more

I like to come to this location to study and work on assignments for school. I usually grab a cup of coffee from the Starbucks and sit and work. I'm here very often because it is hard to focus at home. If I'm here during lunch or dinner, I'll purchase it from the store and always purchase any groceries or household items I'm needing before I leave. The issue I have is way staff handles problems with the wifi network. I know it is a courtesy for King Soopers to offer free wifi, but it is crucial to have in order to complete my work. The network/server has gone down on a few different occasions. When it does, I end up going somewhere else because when I ask Starbucks associates, they do not appear to know the solution. Today a barista, who was working alone, called the customer service desk and was told by an associate that they did not have anyone to send over to reset the network but would send someone as soon as she did. I waited 30mins. No one showed and another barista arrived to work the Starbucks. I asked him about resetting the wifi network and he said that "it would require calling tech support and they are not in the building. " I have nothing but nice things to say about the baristas at the in-store Starbucks. It is obvious that they would like to help but they just don't know what to do. Another 15 mins pass and still no one from customer service, so I decide to call the customer service desk myself. The associate that answered the phone quickly stated that "Starbucks handles that" and I'm not sure when exactly she hung up on me but it was while I tried to tell her that the Starbucks barista had already called the customer service desk... I would gladly change my rating to 4 or 5 stars because other then this problem with the wifi and staff not knowing what to do about it, the rest of the experience is great. The store is well set up. The staff is friendly and it is usually clean (except tables by the Starbucks are usually covered in crumbs). The bathrooms are clean and well taken care of. What I think needs to happen: Both Starbucks and King Soopers staff should be well informed of measures to take in case the network goes down. Perhaps there should be a sign posted in the coffee lounge area that states: if there are problems with the wifi network, please call... And then display a phone number for someone that knows what is going on and can fix the problem. By the way, the login page to access the wifi is a King Soopers login page. The network is called KingSoopersWifi. So it is a but disappointing that the customer service associate cut me off and basically telling me that it's Starbucks problem. read more

I tried to pick up my dogs medication in he pharmacy. First the girl who helped me denied tat I had a prescription ready to pick up. Then she said that I was not on file with them and they never received a hardcopy of the prescription from me. I finally convinced her that she might want to look for the meds for my dog instead of for me, I told her that in the beginning. After half an hour waiting she finally realized that Ellie was a dog and not a human, as I told that several times. Then finally when she found the meds I asked her if she had applied the Goodrx coupon for $22.83 to it and she said yes, she did. When I looked at my receipt I saw that she had over charged me by several dollars and that I had no way that that could be changed. read more

With a sever medical condition like hers, these despicable people, are rude and inconsiderate. They make the process unpleasant and not the slightest but convenient. They are un-helpful and should be ashamed of how they treat people. All the people I've encountered are awful but the worst one is Sebastiana. I truly hate this king Soopers for their customer service and pharmacy. When we order for pick up it is always messed up. They claim they don't have things like bottled water or iceberg lettuce but after I get my pick up I go in the store and find the products they miss. Last time they gave me the wrong order completely and I had to go back which is a 25 min drive one way to swap the orders. Not only that, but their pharmacy is always behind and they claim short staff for not having their drive through window open, when Covid, flu and monkey pox is running around. I guess they want sick people coming into the store. I can visually see 4 people right now. Seems like the back pharmacists don't help when the line backs up?? They get the single star for at least being a clean store. Other than that I hate that this is the closest store to me. My go to regular grocery store and pharmacy. Love the staff- I have consistently experienced great customer service, friendly interactions with everyone. They are helpful and any time I come across a staff member anywhere in the store they ask me how I am doing and sincerely ask me how they can help. Super clean- rarely out of items. Great variety that I cannot get at Target. I occasionally use Click list and that experience is also consistently perfect!! Keep up the great work! read more

I have absolutely NO idea why this King Soopers doesn't have higher stars than it does. I read some of the reviews and they are whack. Some guy ranting about politics( what does that have to do with a grocery store??) , another about wifi ( it's a grocery store. Not a coffee shop or a library. ), and then complaining how it's too big. ( what?) I can understand someone being upset over a birthday cake being messed up though. You plan things and want them to be perfect I think it's a killer grocery store. It's clean and a lot nicer than other King Soopers I have been to. Sometimes they have great prices on produce and seafood/meats. Their staff has been nothing but polite, if not extra polite and helpful. I have also rented their Rug doctor and had no issues. I have ran in and done an exchange when their betties tasted tart or funky and had no issues. They have also special ordered a certain cheese I really liked just because I couldn't find it and asked them to. The sushi bar in there us fantastic! It doesn't taste like regular old wet grocery store sushi. They will make it fresh for you on the spot as well. Love them! It's a really good grocery store in my opinion. This place is almost a little too big. If you don't go often, you get lost. I have gone twice now since it opened and bought more than intended. But I will be going back again this weekend as they have "zoo animals" for a buck a piece that my daughter loves. I do like that they have a clothing department, furniture & jewelry. And the best thing about it is that they are small departments so you are not overwhelmed with too many choices. They also have great sales! Last weekend they did 50% off sale clothes and we ended up getting a kids nightgown, kids dress, denim capris, cargo shorts and a shirt for under $60. This is my normal store, as I always love shopping here, yesterday was a great experience. As the Colorado Blizzard was coming in on March 13th, I had just returned town the night before from a business trip, I desperately needed food, I left for the store before the storm hit, when I went to leave it was whiteout conditions, the store workers were offering to drive up customers cars and load their groceries. Thank you so much not for only working on this terrible and dangerous snow day so we could all have food, but for helping the guests, it was such a kind and unnecessary gesture! A good place for just casual grocery shopping. This is a new building that has many lunch options which includes sushi and soup and salad and more. Has a good bakery and also has many options. This isn't also your run of the mill store, they have clothing, shoes, makeup and a jewelry store. They also have a nice skincare which includes essential oils products. The staff is friendly and always makes it a goal to have an enjoyable experience! Would recommend for any occasional shopping trip! read more

I do like King Soopers more than most other grocery stores. However, I have never had a smooth experience with the pharmacy department at this location, and I am sure it is because the "cheapskate" management will not employ enough staff for this department. There are usually only two employees working when I go in and one is taking care of the drive-thru, phones, and counter. The other staff member is the pharmacist. What a great way to leave yourself open for mistakes and guaranteed poor customer service. Recently I purchased meat from the deli that had black goo in both packages. They obviously do not clean the slicer very often. I wanted to throw up, when I got home and discovered it. They do have great sales and even store brands are of really good quality. You will need to watch the computer at check out as 9 out of 10 times there is a pricing error that is not in your favor, I can assure you. read more

I purchased 8 pans of chicken strips, a vegetable tray, and a fruit tray for my daughters graduation party. When my son went and picked up the order for me we had no sauces that were supposed to be included in the order. The vegetable tray and the fruit tray were the only things he received. He had to let them know that he was also supposed to get 8 pans of chicken as well. I called the deli department and their response was I am sorry. We live 30 miles from Brighton and I had over 100 people coming to my house that day so I didn't have time to run over there to pick up the sauces. Plus it was not my job to do so! I also spent over $200.00 at this store counting on things to be done right and efficiently! I then called a store manager and she assured me that I would be taken care of with a gift card because they won't refund your money. So I went in the store to get my gift card which was not worth my 30 mile drive into the store! I was told by another manager that May 12th was a particularly bad day and they had two proms, two graduations, and Mother's Day. I should have let him know that this was not my problem! My take on this is if you offer these types of services to the public you should get an adequate number of staff to do so and make sure people's orders are correct before going out or not offer this service!
