King Soopers are always hit and miss with their produce department. Either produce is completely wiped out, rotten , or other times you hit it just right and you have fresh produce. Absolutely the worst grocery store for multiple reasons. This is nothing against the employees as they're all great, but this store is constantly understaffed. Multiple registers closed at peak hours and at least one of the self checkout lanes is consistently closed. Kroger is a truly awful organization that utilizes predatory pricing tactics. I feel for the employees at this location as this is the only grocery store within the Reunion area. Stay away if you can, but if you can't, prepare for madness. read more

I am so tired of this specific King Soopers. Every-time I am there they are out of stock on the floor of something on my shopping list. Anyone I seem to ask quickly turns and says no they don't have it. Today was probably the worst. Manager Noah was a complete jerk to me when I simply asked for mini pepperoni. Not even words just a head shake and turned his back to me. Again it's only this store. I also shop at 136th and Quebec store and they are more helpful there. Never any issues. It's a shame. I have reported this behavior before but apparently even the managers are allowed to be this way. My advice is shop a different store. Maybe if enough of us go elsewhere corporate will get the message. read more

Dear Ms. Howard and to whom it may concern, Long gone are the days of "The customer comes first." You may already be thinking "Oh Boy, here we go." It's probably not the first complaint you have received about this store nor the last. But I felt it necessary to bring awareness to the lack of customer service at this store. Today, I went in to buy a few things for dinner that I am cooking for myself and another family. I went to your deli and was looking at which Ham I wanted to choose for a pasta carbonara that I am making. I noticed two employees talking about something behind the counter and looked like they were training or something. After a few minutes of standing there, they said that they would get to me. (Thanks for the Acknowledgement) However, when I finally was ready, I waited, waited and waited, and they walked off to another place where they were no longer visible. What I would have ordered would have taken maybe 4 minutes. I was excited to see that the peaches were only .99 cents a pound In a great big yellow sign with bright red numbers. Yet, when I went to the check out stand it was ringing up at $2.99 a pound. When I asked the attendant about it. She said, that she believes there is a coupon for it and walked off and I assumed that she would be kind enough to ring up the coupon for it. Well, She came back and said I needed to download the app to get the coupon. I did log in my customer account number into the kiosk, and it is the number associated with the account. But I was told that I had to use the app to get the discount. What happen to the good ole days where the attendant could do that for you, should you forget? The way this attendant made it sound like was that she was going to do it but then came back and said that I had to. I didn't want to hold up the line and download the app while people were waiting. So, I had to pay the full price for the peaches. This incident wouldn't have perturbed me as much had I not had to deal with the lack of customer service earlier in my shopping experience. It was just the icing on the cake. My husband and I have had other negative experiences at this particular store like spending hundreds of dollars in groceries, to have to bag all the groceries ourselves; because the bagger saw how many groceries they would have had to bag and choose to walk over to a line that had a short amount of items so it was the easier of the two jobs to do. Enjoy the monopoly now, but if the culture of this store continues to be, "rules & training above serving the customer's needs." Did some grocery shopping here like any normal day, picked up a case of beer for home too, one problem, I went to check out at self checkout and scanned the beer a worker comes over frantically and says "IDs cmon I don't have all day" I show her my ID to purchase and she proceeds to ID my 5 YEAR OLD GRANDSON I chuckle because I thought it was a joke at first and say oh sorry he's only 5 and she refuses to sell me the beer. I laugh now because it's not a big deal but that is some weird rule that needs to be reevaluated. What if you are a single parent/guardian that has to take their child to the store with them every time? I would say just go to a different store but this is honestly the only grocery store in the area. Next closest thing is Walgreens and they don't have anything. Workers have their headphones in on the floor and they act very inconvenienced when you ask them for help. They only have 1-2 checkout lanes open so they force you to use self checkout. From there they have these fake police by the doors to check your receipts. Meanwhile these "loss prevention" guys are either on their phones or flirting with the young girls that work up front. A solid food store but really the 2 star reflects their checking out process and system coorlation to promotions. Almost every time, certain advertised sales are not recognized when you check out. That is even with your card and phone number. Buyer beware - just also monitor when items are being scanned and voice any issues to your check out counter service rep - they are typically quick to remediate the issue. read more

I've been shopping at this King Soopers before moving to Adams County and fell in love with it. The friendly florist who works in the flower department, offered to exchange an orchid that broke its root early. (Unfortunately.) I originally purchased that orchid at the King Soopers on Green Valley Ranch and Tower Rd, but the pink haired chick did NOT want to honor my request. I actually purchased that orchid from her THAT DAY and she totally blamed it on me. No customer service, just blame, blame, blame.. Funny thing is, I purchased $100.00 worth of Orchids at her flower department, and that was about 6 of them. She still thought I was there to haggle or something, HA! However, Bill won me over and I no longer even desire to shop there. This shopper is here to stay! This King Soopers has a spacious Starbucks dining that is open all hours of business. I have spent some time studying there, enjoying overall the energy of the friendly staff. The flower department is absolutely gorgeous and they do take care of their blooms; no wilting. This King Soopers has a very clean, spotless restroom and such a fun Starbucks with smiles at the counter. Aside from the interior of this King Soopers, it is generously surrounded by so many other businesses like Dutch Bros Coffee, G's Tacos and a First Bank Franchise. I have shopped at this KS since it opened. Since then the employee staff has shrunk. No (or seldom) baggers now. Today, as usual there was one checker open. I went to the self checkout and waited. Since there is only one checker open, there are a lot of shoppers at the self checkout with completely full shopping carts. It takes a while. I went to the new ones with the belt to move your checked out groceries to the bagging area. Due to the barcode blocked with packaging I had to use the handheld scanner. Then when I started scanning again, the belt went backwards as if I was trying to do something wrong. The employee asked if I used the hand held scanner and I said I did and that was the issue. I had it at that point with this store. If we have to check ourselves out, then either remove the hand held scanner or make it like other stores where it simply scans like normal. I told the employee that I was done and left my cart there. I asked for a manager and after waiting 10 minutes, I was told the the manager was on break. I would like to apologize to the employees if I seemed to be angry at them. I was not. They were very polite. I was angry at the largest grocery chain in Colorado that can only employ one checker and we have to self serve other than that. For this store to be in one of the fastest growing areas, it seems they would enjoy the extra customers and not downsize. This store used to be very nice, but has gone down hill with the number of employees and equipment. Good luck getting a cart without half the rubber missing from the wheels which makes it bang and bump as you roll it. If you let the cart employees know about it, they do nothing. I would like to say I will not go here again, but it is close to me. I will say that I hope another grocery store opens in this area soon. read more

Parking is plentiful and the store is huge, with a good variety of your normal grocery store items (but I am not a fan of normal grocery stores loaded with processed food and junk food) some good health food but items (but not like Whole Foods, or the fun organic markets), clothes, kitchenware, etc. If you go early morning and go in and out quickly, you may beat the crowd and lines, but the place fills up quickly despite its big size. Lines are usually long (4 or more people in front of me). I'll do self check out most of the time as those lines seem to move faster. There is a Starbucks inside and public restrooms by the Starbucks that were clean when I was there. Flowers in the floral department were pretty. read more

This review is for the pharmacy!! Worst service I have ever received at a pharmacy and the Pharmacy manager Romel didn't seem to care that his technicians can't do their job right. I told him they need to take accountability for their mistakes and try to fix the problem. They had me run to a different pharmacy and they never sent my prescription over. They point the finger at the other pharmacy and the other pharmacy points the finger at them. I had to wait a total of 2 hrs with my sick kids . 1 was really feeling sick and just wanted to lay down. At the end of the day their communication between stores needs to improve so nobody else has this happen to them. I will never be back. Technician can't even send a simple prescription to another store and just added to my wait time. read more

I came here while in the area. They have a large selection of almost anything. The seafood department was my favorite. They offered a variety of things to include clam and scallops. The process are reasonable. The staff seemed very helpful and willing to assist finding items. They also have a wide variety of flowers and plants/balloons. read more

This location is often out of vegetables or other items you are looking for. Do not use the pickup service (where you place an order through the app and then go pick it up during a specified time) unless you like inconvenience. They only get your order ready for that time period about 50% of the time in my experience. Twice out of the 4 times we used them, they said to come back the next day. The good: it is a very large store with many options, great alcohol selection, and friendly people. read more

This store gets WORSE on each visit! Lets start with the pharmacy. I have never waited less than 25 minutes for an Rx. Most of the time 35+ minutes. Now on to the main checkout. I realize there are certainly peak hours that will cause some delays. On 1/2/20 the line took 20 minutes with at least 4 checkouts CLOSED. Of course they want to push everyone to self check out but is that not a decision I should be making..... not the store? You have a captive audience in Reunion and it seems you clearly know that. Your lack of customer service must be acceptable to management as I would guess the store consistently puts up great numbers. Be careful management, that captive audience will not tolerate your bad service as new competition arrives.... I for one look forward to that new competition! read more

They have a non compete contract with Reunion meaning we have no other options in our area. They take full advantage their contract by not providing any service or keeping their shelves stocked. Right now it's 6:00pm on a Tuesday which is a very busy time. Take a guess how many registers are open?? You guessed it! One!! All the rest are self check out. So for the people spending a lot of money with full carts you can either check out yourself or wait for about 20 mins.
