8/9/26- Went to get quarters for the laundry mat and was told by the employee at customer service that they have a policy where they can not give change or cash back in coins. The problem is that not only is this bad customer service, but may also be illegal at the federal level since American coins are legal tender. This means that they are refusing to deal with legal tender in the US. Then the guy also said I could go try a bank. Super bad response since banks are closed on Sundays and it shows how disconnected they are with how business works in the US. read more

I was racially profiled here at this king Soopers last night. The manager Judy and Sam treated me and my fiancé horribly. When we went in to buy wine Judy and Sam refused to allow us to purchase our wine without having two license. I explained that we had come to this location a number of times and only been required to show one identification. Judy the manager caused a scene and began arguing with me insinuating that I was lying. My father was in the store checking out on another lane and overheard what took place and attempted to purchase it. Judy walked over to the lane he was on and caused a scene expressing that he couldn't purchase wine either and insisted that he go to a liquor store. This behavior was disgusting and I have never experienced treatment like this in my life! read more

Do not place pickup orders at this location. I would prefer going down the street to Safeway, target or even going to another king soopers. This one 3/3 times I've placed an online order. It's nearly expired, broken, or damaged products. Every single time on every single product I assume it's because they realised you're not checking every single item. It could be yogurt, vitamins or hair products everything in my pickup order is always an issue. Plus even though they ask for your location I still wait 15+ minutes for them to bring my order out. read more

A masked male security guard followed my girlfriend all the way into the women's restroom. We both work instacart (online shopping and delivering of groceries), that day we were both wearing clean jeans, boots and some coats we'd just gotten as it was snowing all day. Parking lot was horribly covered in grey slush, not plowed. We began shopping, we made it to the Orange Juice when we noticed the first time security came by. They had called for security rounds on the speaker, that's normal, they then called to check "Code Orange", less normal but whatever. Without missing one minute the security guy walks around us. He visually takes note of our cart. Later shopping, I was waiting outside the restroom with all of our items while my GF was in there. Security guy walked down the hall straight to the women's restroom, knocked, and quickly entered after knocking, announcing "Security!". He stepped in fully and stood inside and walked into both of the stalls next to hers, GF remained quiet. On his way out I was watching him, he passed and told me "There's only one person in there", I replied "I know, it's my girlfriend, in the women's restroom..", He walked off and continued to stare at us, even during checkout, and while we were leaving. I understand it's security's responsibility to keep the place safe and prevent theft. I've worked in a number of stores, I get it. But many store chains nowadays have a problem with coming across as potentially Dangerous to shoppers, including this location. This isn't my first issue with stores, the other week we went into Walmart and thought their undercover loss prevention was a stalking murder the way he passed us 7 times staring in our faces. All cause we got soap and food. I'm not sure if it's how we look or dress, we're mid 20s coming in after work/school wearing either work clothes or nursing scrubs, I'm confused as to where this issue of perception comes from. Especially when it's SO easy to see who's actually there to steal and/or actually do drugs in the bathroom. The only other reason I could think of is because my girlfriend is mixed, which is a horrible issue for this store to have in and of itself. It's a grocery store, people are there to buy things. Stop being weird about it and get to know your customer base. 0/10 Experience, except for only the guys making the hot and ready chickens. They're really cool and helpful read more

This store is awful. Busy time of day had one very slow checkout person with 6 baskets lined up waiting. Another cashier finally opened up and I went through and requested cash back. She would only give me a $100 bill. I had to go and wait in line at customer service to get smaller bills. There were 5 people in line and I didn't see anyone there helping customers. Three people who worked in the pharmacy were talking to people in line about using the pharmacy when shopping. I told them that I would probably never be back and one of them took me to someone in charge and he begrudgingly gave me $20 bills. If not for her caring who knows how much longer I would have been waiting in a line that was going nowhere. read more

Every time I'm there I get harassed by the frat boy looking security guards on power trips. They lock up all the laundry, then refuse to come and assist you when you need to actually purchase it. Pressed the call button multiple times and eventually gave up and will purchase else where. Genuinely a terrible time read more

I've been shopping here a couple months. Today was typical and typical here is bad. First no carts in the indoor corral ever. Second, one register open to force you into self checkout. Third, self checkout stops you every two seconds to show you a video of you putting something in the bag area and it complaining you didn't scan when you did . So you have to wait for the one attendant who is busy with all the other broken self checkouts to come check you did scan and then put a code in. The only reason I give two stars is because the majority of employees try to be kind and do a good job. For example the produce section in the morning looks clean and well displayed. Today there was an employee helping a disabled person and she was so nice to everyone as she tried to help get the person through their shopping chore. I really dread going to King Soopers now. What a crap place to be for hard workers. read more

New to the area and found this nice small store that sells a lot of everything it was nice and clean fully stocked

Went shopping today. When I got to the dairy there was not a single egg. This is unacceptable from a large company like Kroger. I will start shopping elsewhere. read more

I agree with most comments this is the worst KS store and it's sad because it's the closest one to my apartment. There's constantly no carts or baskets, you have to hunt your own in the parking lot, staff could care less, in the self checkout lane the lady in front of me just left with her groceries without paying I told the employee and she didn't care and the security guy is walking around for fun I believe. read more

This store has been consistently declining for several years now. It used to be my "go to" store, but no longer. I'll shop there for a few items as it's very close to my apartment. I was there yesterday (4/15) to get some meat from the deli and discovered the traditional deli is no longer there. What I found were long counters of prepackaged deli items - no selection of meats, etc for personalized quantities; which also meant no staff person available. Wow. Just wow. The store has been recently remodeled (or rearranged), but it's still a mess. I'm shopping Safeway and Sprouts more and more even though their prices are higher. read more

This King Soopers is the pits. Like idk if this is Kroger's form of redlining but its insane how rundown and gross this place in comparison to the King Soopers Fresh Fare about 10-15 minutes away. It should honestly be illegal for companies to have such disparity in quality between stores. The parking lot is lawless, the store seemingly does not have any handbaskets only full sized carts (if you can find one). Only King Soopers I can think of that always has a security guard at the entrance but that doesn't seem to make the place feel any safer. If you have any shred of self respect you'll go anywhere else. read more

YAY for rentable Rug Doctors here @ King Soopers. It cost around $40 to rent one for 24 hours and the Customer Service desk lady was really friendly and helpful. The only downside to the Customer Service counter is that there's usually a line. The parking lot here gets super busy and traffic-y by the way so avoid this place during times like 5-6 when everyone is stopping by after work to get groceries. read more

Even though I am a great big fan of King Soopers, this location is not the best!! Lots of panhandlers and a very pervasive smell of body odors and a leafy drug. The produce looked sad and wilted and just is not conducive to a good shopping experience. Even though the prices are the same as other King Soopers, won't be coming to this one unless I have an overwhelming food emergency--which isn't going to happen!! Gave it two-stars because the cashier was very friendly and efficient. read more

I now get my prescriptions through Optimum RX and I don't have to wait in line anymore with five people ahead of me I get them delivered in the mail a 3-month supply on top of that and I now shop at Walmart I order my groceries through the app and do a curbside pickup so I don't have to deal with the crowded sloppy parking lot that this store has had for years nor do I have to pay the high prices that Kroger is charging and they want to buy Albertsons and be the top dog of everything I don't agree. read more

I will avoid this king soopers at all costs because I purchased some cheese sauce that had been expired for three months at the time of purchase. The only reason I checked is because when I opened it there was a layer of water on the top and it had a weird smell. Not to mention the horrible parking lot full of trash, and the consistently under stocked shelves. read more

This location needs to be torn down and rebuilt. They need to fire most of their employees as well. Most are rude and don't care about their jobs. I was here yesterday and heard deli employees using profanity, talking about another employee. Also the parking lot is janky AF. Panhandlers, trash everywhere. read more

When you do not close until 12 midnight & refuse a customer your deli when all things are still out that is called extremely poor customer service! How long does it take you to put a 1/2 pint of macaroni in a container at 9:10 p.m.! I wont come here again, i can say that much! read more

Worst experience ever. Cashier Fatuma, she charged me wrong so I asked her for the refund and she grabbed my receipt and started yelling at me that she didn't charged me double when receipt showed. I asked manager and over here manager the same. She told me to get money from customer service when they made a mistake. Also no apology what so ever for her employee's unacceptable behavior. This king soopers have so much bad reviews but I guess nobody care for the quality of store. Why they even open the store for? read more

Went there to buy some fresh pork baby back ribs. We found them, and then asked the butcher if he could cut them in half. He said no, he didn't want to cut through the bone. We said "well, Safeway would cut them for us". The butcher responded, "so go to Safeway". And we did. This king soopers on missippi and Havana is the worse store I have ever been in , I purchased the pizza at the deli and it was burnt and their was a bite mark on it and dirt underneath it like it had been dropped on the floor . The only good thing here is the Redbox machines. I feel like I take my life in my hands when I come here. I don't think I can say anything else. They have a good ice cream selection, but you would expect that from a grocery store. Other than, wear a bulletproof vest! The parking is crowded because it shares the small space that it has with numerous othere stores. read more

This is one of the worst ones around... Things are not as fresh, except milk which is usually really fresh... Selection is also not as good as most other king soops within driving range of here. Service is friendly. read more

Absolutely dismal place. The produce was horrifically wilted, shriveled, and rotten. Not even the prepacked stuff was fresh. The store was filthy, and it felt like I was in a run down Walmart. I didn't buy anything because it was just too gross and nothing I wanted was fresh. I give it two stars because last time I came here I don't remember having as dreadful as an experience as this time. read more

This store is possibly the worst grocery ever. The checkers will actually stand there looking bothered until you bag your own groceries. The checker today took the bags I brought when I handed them to him and put them next to me and then restacked things waiting for me to bag all of the groceries. When I asked him if he was trying to look busy while I bagged 320.00 worth of groceries he said no and I appreciate the help... I was about half done bagging... number of bags he loaded was one.. he put a loaf of bread in a bag. Meanwhile, 5 employees stood around getting paid and doing nothing. These people will never get another dime of my money. Based on the other reviews, I am not the only one disgusted with this place. Maybe if everyone shops somewhere else... they will do something about this horrible store. read more

I've purchased items at this KS for the past 20+ years, and that includes filling prescriptions at their pharmacy. Over the last year, and especially over the last 6 months, their response to call-ins has become atrocious. You get the automated "voice" which is great if you just need to type in a refill, but it's completely ineffective if you need to speak to someone working in the pharmacy department regarding a screw-up (e.g. NOT delivering filled prescriptions to the home as requested because someone keeps changing the info in their database). Also, they often won't even pick up the phone, and instead, automatically send you to their crappy recorded music! I worked with the public for 35+ years, so I know good vs bad customer service. At the moment, theirs is at the bottom... and digging. read more

I have lived in this area most of my time living in Colorado over 20yrs. The neighborhood has and is getting better but the one eyesore is this king soopers. They don't keep it stocked for the volume of shoppers. I just went in for water and 2 lemons. I couldn't find any lemons and the clerk proceeded to tell me there was a problem with citrus so much that they didn't have any oranges either. I have not seen anything on the national news about a citrus problem. I bet it's an order and stock problem. This happens way too much at this location. read more

Lexa- Cashier at Havana King Soopers on 7/17/18- 0/10 Stars (1 listed not intentional). Absolutely Rude. Dismissive. I even said thank you twice-- once for scanning my sooper card and second for ringing me up.. I even bagged my own groceries. She's apparently continuing the GENERATION of assholes who don't believe in being polite AND saying 'Thank You'. Zero Stars and she should be talked to about it. She ruined my good mood in the store. read more

I must say that compared to other king soopers branches this one was very dirty, the vegetables section was poorly maintained and the vegetables were light years from being fresh. The bakery was literally empty and it was only 5 pm. The only good thing about that place was the staff which were very polite and pleasant. I will NOT be shopping there again. read more

I don't know when this location opened, but I found myself going here after hitting up Sprouts Farmers Market across Havana. They have a decent selection as far as KIng Soopers goes, neither the best nor the worst. A nice deli section and a huge freezer area filled with cold drinks, *yay*! The store doesn't radiate "clean" like the King Soopers on Leetsdale in Glendale does, but it's not bad. Store staff was helpful and friendly, even late at night. Parking lot could use a few more lights, but that's not really KS's fault. Surprised no one else has reviewed this location yet. read more

If you've ever wanted to be panhandled repeatedly while purchasing subpar produce - this is your King Soopers!

Don't bother coming here in the mornings, the store looks like a war zone, it is impossible to navigate the isles with them full of restockers and boxes of merchandise. Only guest services and self checkout is open so you will wait in line for at least 10 minutes while a floor manager just watches the shit show instead of opening another checkout stand. read more

This place is a hot mess! First thing you notice is the security guard at the front door, followed by some of the biggest collection of deadbeat patrons. The store is kept up fairly well and my checker "Fatama" was really sweet and helpful. I would avoid this location if at all possible. read more

I hate having to shop at this location. The parking lot is incredibly poorly designed--it's always backed up to get in and out of the lot. The staff is generally rude. The prices are usually not very good unless they have an awesome random sale. I hate coming to this location. It's always a mad house. The staff has been rude to me the past two times I had to visit. This is coming from the deli department and the hot food area. They act like you are invisible then when you get their attention they start huffing and puffing. SMH. read more
