I shared it with my husband and the server kindly accommodated us and brought us extra plates and tongs and everything we needed to feel settled. We each ordered a pizza and both were fantastic. We prefer hand tossed Neapolitan style pizza, of which this is not (it's more old world, thin and crispy deep dish) but it was still delicious. We appreciated the amazing pepperoni - unlike anything ever and much better than anything I've ever had, as well as the locally raised and processed sausage . A new generation has re-opened the restaurant to bring back the Old World pizza recipe we've been missing for several years. The interior has been updated with a brighter decor but former patrons will recognize the bar and floor plan. Service has been greatly improved being friendlier, more attentive, and quicker than the previous incarnation. My wife's gluten free pizza crust was particularly good. My favorite part of the experience was the looped video of Pizzi family home movies from more than 50 years ago. I'm not overly sentimental and did not know the family. But the video was reminiscent of my childhood and nearly brought a tear to my eye seeing weddings, Christenings, family dinners, etc. The video alone is worth the visit! Great to have Pizzi's back!
