Great Italian food and the service is amazing. It's a little pricey but it's kinda romantic setting so worth it.

My family is obsessed with biscottis. We have family that lives up in Ashtabula that we go up and visit. We live in Pittsburgh. Every time we visit, we must go there. We dream of the meatballs especially. I personally don't like to eat Italian Food that often. My husband is half Italian, his mother makes excellent Italian Food and he's cheap so he never wants to pay for Italian food out. Haha we both love it there. One of the best things that my mother in law makes is meatballs. My husband has a tough time finding any meatballs that come anywhere close to measuring up. He loved these meatballs as do I. They are ginormous and ah-mazing. I like the penne pasta. My husband likes spaghetti. I also like the bruschetta chicken. It's so good. It's hard to choose what to get. I like the steak and pasta too. Gorgonzola is the best. My mom is obsessed with their salad. It's so good especially the little cherries. We always get the garlic bread which has a ton of cheese which I love. We get the stuffed peppers with sausage which are a little spicy. The sausage is so good. We haven't had a bad meal there. We had my cousin's rehearsal dinner there. The owners are always so nice and worked with my cousin to organize it. They also have their own wine which is very good. We have gotten take out there several times during covid and it still tasted as good as in the restaurant. Run here and eat as much as you can. It's amazing. You'll love it. read more

When you tell the customer it's a 16oz Cowboy Steak it shouldn't fit on a hamburger/sandwich bun after you remove the bone from the side of the meat. Since the price isn't on the menu due to a daily price change of chefs choice on the cut of steak maybe the server should tell you. $41 is a bit extreme for a "16oz Cowboy steak" that without the 10oz bone fits on a sandwich bun! I resided in Conneaut for 22 years prior to relocating 2 years ago. Have eaten here many times. We came in tonight for our 2nd wedding anniversary dinner as we were staying at Buccia winery B&B. The food was phenomenal as always! The staff is friendly! Shout out to Ms Rachel Brecht! She wasn't our server per se but as a friend of my son, it was nice to chat with her & find out her post -high school plans. Lori the owner has a great staff. I was in town visiting my family, and we all had an amazing meal at Biscotti's. The food and the staff was great.

We were very hungry and wanted something other than bar food so we decided to try Biscottis and were surprised at how good everything tasted and the service was excellent as well. . We ordered the stuffed pepper and stuffed mushrooms for appetizers. These were huge portions. The stuffed peppers were a little spicy and came with garlic bread with melted cheese. The stuffed mushrooms were large as well with cheese sauce. I had the baked cod with butter sauce. It was excellent and perfectly cooked. My husband had the chicken piccata with salad and the spicy corn which was delicious as well. We ordered too much and were to full to try dessert. very pleased and will definitely be back to try the cannolis. read more

Friends who had a fishing boat in the nearby harbor took us there, gushing with praise (possibly best perch ever tasted!). Normally nothing lives up to this hype, but Biscottis did! For appetizers - we shared the Sausage Fondue, and stuffed Portobellos. Simply wonderful - best such I've ever had. Some of us had a meatball ($4 for a giant one). Again, excellent. For entrees, we sampled the Baked Penne, their Combo (Chicken Parm, cheese ravioli, futtuccine Alfredo) - excellent, Veal Florentine and best of all - Longostino Diablo (Alfredo sauce and Cajun seasoning. I don't get florid in ratings often, but this was exquisite!). The only 'fail' was their wedding soup - coming from an Italian immigrant family, we might be overly critical, but it had croutons and rice! In light of the wonderful taste of everything else, this wasn't a big deal. Prices were lower than you'd find in a larger urban area. The service was good, but for one thing - the waitress entered our order and forgot to hit 'send'. We'd normally noticed such a long wait but we were with lifelong friends we hadn't seen in a couple years, so didn't notice! She came to us, announced they were comping our desserts, then explained and apologized. I think this is a one-off so not downgrading them for this, since they handed this so well (comped our desserts without prompting). read more

Great stuffed mushrooms for starters that were full of flavor and topped with a delectable soft cheese that was made for tastebuds Great Food menu that is sure to please even the pickiest people Really friendly staff made this an enjoyable stop. Salad was fresh and crispy and the most tasty cherries were in for a nice surprise That coupled with house dressing made for something to start off the night with. Now here is restaurant that is completely dependent upon tourist business. If you go once, your satisfied, not phenomenal, but good. a little pricy for the portions and location, but a good meal and nice cocktails. They're no windows in the dining room at all, so I guess there going for the wine cellar look, and they're plenty of artificial flower and grape vine covering the walls to distract you from the lack of any view. The menu is small and uneventful, and they never change it, so if you go more than five times, you've had pretty much had everything on the menu. I have had all three Veal dishes before, and the only difference is the pasta. You really cant tell the difference if you were blindfolded. They do some seafood dishes and up sell them for sure. They try to tell you that they do a Langoustine dish, but let me be clear, they are not Langoustine's, they are prawns, and they try to charge you appropriately. The steaks come in 8 and 10oz portions. I mean who eats that, I need like 3... and they charge you $23-22, in Conneaut Ohio...WTF..... Well lets say this, if your going through Conneaut, and you dont want pizza, your left with Biscotti's or Perkins!!? I guess Ill see you at Perkins. read more

The food was ok but they fell short on the chicken. It was very overcooked and dry. The waitress told me to put sauce on it and took six bucks off the bill. I didn't eat it. The shared salad quality has gone down... they used to give the mixed spring greens now they give iceberg lettuce. Just not the same as it was. Looking for a new place to try, we took the short drive to Conneaut OH. Located near the water but not on it, we were pleasantly greeted and shown to the back room, where we were the only diners. The main dining room was full for a Thursday and we told Lori, that we would get a drink and would like to move once a table opened in the main room. I reviewed the wine list and ordered a bottle of their only Chianti, thinking that it would be dry. It wasn't. So we asked are server, Taylor, if we could switch and order a martini and beer. She was very gracious and made it happen. We ordered the Veal Florentine and a rigatoni dish that were very satisfying. After dinner, we asked Lori if we could bring our own wine and pay a corkage fee. However, we learned that Ohio law does not allow that. Lori gave us a sample of some drier wines which were more to our liking. read more

The staff has always been pleasant. Food: Excellent. We've never had a meal that wasn't properly prepared. Portions are generous. They also have a fairly large gluten-free menu. My wife said the pasta was very good. Environment: The waiting area does not accommodate either large or multiple parties. The decor is faux Tuscan but nothing outlandish. The floor plan may seem quirky but who cares? Price: Anyone who feels the pricing is high has either never been more than 30 miles from Conneaut or frequently patronizes greasy spoons for the senior citizen discount on the Tuesday Early Bird Specials. read more

Last night I was to meet a friend at a halfway spot to have an early dinner and catch up, as it has been a lifetime since we had seen each other. Arrived at 4:30 and did not have reservations, however, I thought at this early time slot and with an empty restaurant, there would be no problem getting seated. Lori asked if we wanted to be seated at a booth or table. Told her a booth, which are very roomy for just two people and are clearly meant for 4-6. Behind the booth that We were sitting at was an empty smaller booth for 2. When we were seated we started to catch up and were not quick to order an appetizer. We have all had a dinner like this. Service was more than great because we had to keep turning the waitress away to the point of annoyance because we weren't ready and it became pushy. We were told to order quicker so that our dInners would not be pushed back behind other orders. The waitress seemed a bit anxious with each few minutes checking on us. We had ordered appetizers to start with and it came quickly. I took my first bite and Lori came over to our table and ask us if we could move to the very back of the restaurant because we were too slow and we could take our time back at the back of the restaurant. My friend and I just looked at each other and thought it was a joke at first. NO JOKE! SHOCKED!! The wait staff escorted us to the last table, which surprisingly was a table for 4. Was ROSA PARKS told to sit at the back of the bus? Conneaut, OH 2020 or Montgomery, AL 1955?? They brought our original appetizer to us with new plates. So much for my second bite. So this is why our waitress was so anxious. Both the bus boy and our waitress were overly apologetic and embarrassed. I made light of it and joked with her so she would relax. I have never left a bad review before, but I HAD to share! If Lori would like to have customers return, she has a funny way of showing it. On the way out we passed our original booth... empty.
