A very quaint Italian restaurant. The chicken parmesan was excellent! We didn't expect two chicken breasts. The salad and bread was good also. Our waitress was friendly and checked back to make sure things were good, and they were.

This is approx 9-10oz of what was supposed to be a "16ox Cowboy steak"

When you tell the customer it's a 16oz Cowboy Steak it shouldn't fit on a hamburger/sandwich bun after you remove the bone from the side of the meat. Since the price isn't on the menu due to a daily price change of chefs choice on the cut of steak maybe the server should tell you. $41 is a bit extreme for a "16oz Cowboy steak" that without the 10oz bone fits on a sandwich bun! Not wanting to ruin my father's birthday dinner I said nothing . The light above the table in the very dark restaurant made the ambience feel like an interrogation room .. maybe turn the lights up just a little or dim the table light

I resided in Conneaut for 22 years prior to relocating 2 years ago. Have eaten here many times. We came in tonight for our 2nd wedding anniversary dinner as we were staying at Buccia winery B&B. The food was phenomenal as always! The staff is friendly! Shout out to Ms Rachel Brecht! She wasn't our server per se but as a friend of my son, it was nice to chat with her & find out her post -high school plans. Lori the owner has a great staff. My Chicken Florentine Alfredo was superb. Their house salad is excellent & the Italian Wedding soup was even better! I wish they sold it by the quart!

Stuffed peppers and cheesy garlic bread so good!

This place was so busy but they fit us I. And despite them being super busy the wait staff all were very friendly and our waitress was super attentive! The atmosphere is quaint and definitely an Italian feel! Both my husband and I had bow tie pasta cooked perfectly, steak medallions were tender and the langoustines on the Alfred Diablo were cooked perfectly as well! Biscotti's is hidden but worth seeking out!!

Grandpa Pizzi’s Place

Went on a Friday night at dinner time and was delighted to find more than enough off street parking, although on street would have been fine to me. Inside I appreciated the cozy yet updated interior, wonderful lighting, and the ease at which we were able to find a table. The small selection of beers on tap had just what we wanted - a mix of some classic standards and some of the best local craft beer around. The wine and liquor menu was impressive too and all extremely reasonably priced, as was the beer. It was hard to pick just a few things from the menu but tried the salad with the garlic dressing and oh my goodness! One of the best salads ever! I shared it with my husband and the server kindly accommodated us and brought us extra plates and tongs and everything we needed to feel settled. We each ordered a pizza and both were fantastic. We prefer hand tossed Neapolitan style pizza, of which this is not (it's more old world, thin and crispy deep dish) but it was still delicious. We appreciated the amazing pepperoni - unlike anything ever and much better than anything I've ever had, as well as the locally raised and processed sausage . On top of the food and drinks being delicious we received very kind and efficient service that really made our night! The chef checked on us and thanked us for coming in. We couldn't have asked for anything more and we'll look forward to returning soon! We're glad that there is a locally-focused and historic place like this in our region. Highly recommend!

A new generation has re-opened the restaurant to bring back the Old World pizza recipe we've been missing for several years. The interior has been updated with a brighter decor but former patrons will recognize the bar and floor plan. Service has been greatly improved being friendlier, more attentive, and quicker than the previous incarnation. My wife's gluten free pizza crust was particularly good. My favorite part of the experience was the looped video of Pizzi family home movies from more than 50 years ago. I'm not overly sentimental and did not know the family. But the video was reminiscent of my childhood and nearly brought a tear to my eye seeing weddings, Christenings, family dinners, etc. The video alone is worth the visit! Great to have Pizzi's back!

The service is also amazing. They're always so warm and kind. We have been there a few times and have had nothing but delicious meals. One time they had a bruschetta sampler that was fantastic. I wish they'd have it again. I've had the gnocchi Gorgonzola and it was good but not as flavorful as I would have liked. I much prefer the tortellini. Love the red sauce and the pasta is soft and delicious. My cousins also like the chicken Parmesan. Anything is delicious. Next time, I'm going to try something else. We were served our bread and drinks right away. The salad with creamy Parmesan dressing was delicious. It was entertaining being able to see what was going on in the open kitchen. Everyone in the restaurant was smiling and having a very good time. The staff was all very friendly and welcoming. Our food was tasty and piping hot. The portions were generous and in fact I had to take home half of my meal, which was the pasta Mille, with sausage and chicken. I got the linguine. We also made room for dessert, trying the tiramisu and the cannoli. The tiramisu is very light and creamy. The cannoli was the right balance of creamy sweet and crunchy. Both desserts were delicious, and a perfect ending to a very nice meal.

I had a table in the corner and got settled in with a book and ordered a Hugo Spritz. The cocktail was refreshing and light, and I really enjoyed it. I decided on a Cesar Salad, nothing too special there, but it was a generous size and fresh greens. I ordered a bowl of mussles, again, generous sized portion, and I liked that they had 2 preparations - garlic and white wine (always a good choice) or Diablo, and I went with the spicy tomato! The sauce was great, kind of spicy, with good crusty bread to dunk. The mussels themselves were OK, not the best quality seafood I've ever had, but still a nice dinner. And I also had the fried ravioli, which I cannot resist, ever, and dunked it in the spicy sauce. The house bread was a really nice foicaccia, with a confit garlic and butter to smear all over it. Really great. The service was excellent! She was knowledgeable about the menu, attentive, and also great at timing, kind of letting me hang out and enjoy my dinner. I'd probably go back to try some other fun menu items, and their chocolate and cocktail (and chocolate cocktail) menu is intriguing.

It's located in Millcreek Mall & you can enter from mall parking lot or from inside mall itself. Our server was friendly & efficient with nice recommendations. I loved my pasta carbonara & our guest loved her spaghetti & meatballs (two HUGE meatballs). They have a nice happy hour & I had a French martini mixed well. We loved the zucchini blossom appetizer. The large wedge salad was good. And the garlic knot bread with shaved Parmesan is a nice touch, we got an extra basket. My husband & other male guest had the linguini & clams and were not as pleased. One said it was just ok, broth weak & unflavorful and the other guest gave it a 3/10 saying clams were overcooked & chewy. Desserts were good, we had pistachio gelato and strawberry shortcake. We would return & try again if in the area.

Was a little disappointed that the server picked it up without asking us... since almost half the plate was still left. We also ordered the "Sicilian" with Chicken Pizzette. This was also a 10/10! Our favorite of the night. The artichoke, Spinach, and tomato combo created blast of flavor in your mouth. The Carbonara was a 3/10. The server mentioned it would be more creamy and saucy and we were ok with that. For us it was WAAAY to salty. Not sure what happened there. Could have been the prosciutto as mentioned by the chef, but unsure. They were gracious enough to take it off the bill. We'll be back for sure. If you're in the Erie area and craving Italian food, definitely worth checking it out especially if you're near Peach street.
