Jesse Jewell with Cape Fear Carpentry was a referral via our neighborhood list. We needed someone…read moreto rebuild a cabinet around a washer and dryer because the existing cabinet was too small. Jesse was very responsive to phone calls, text messages, and emails. I was not able to be at the house during the planning/measurement phase but Jesse handled this well. We quickly negotiated the scope of work, price, and timeline. He completed the job in a little under two weeks from concept drawing and estimate to final installation. Most of the cabinet work was done in his shop. He installed the cabinet in a single morning and it looked great and he kept the area clean. Jesse and his coworker were reliable, polite, and professional and I would definitely work with them again.

I wanted to love this company as I like to support local vendors, and they are friendly and helpful on initial contact; so, I feel bad writing a less than positive review. But I have an unresolved issue-- the pressure wash solution dripped onto our outdoor porch furniture and lifted the color on two cushions. I contacted them about it (the furniture is new and the fabric Sunbrella--was surprised they didn't move or ask us to). They said this has never happened before in 23 years and indicated they would come out on Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon the next week. As far as I know, no one came (that was over a week ago). I just had a company clean my indoor furniture and they examined my outdoor cushions as I was hoping they could address it... said it was a color lift from bleach solution so it's permanent. I assumed that as you can see a drip pattern along a line that apparently came from the interior of the porch where the color faded into greenish spots. The cleaning company suggested I leave this review. I'm disappointed and guess I will just flip the cushions or replace them. I understand mistakes happen, but we need to own them.

A few years ago our pressure washer died and I had to decide if I was going to spend a few hundred dollars fixing it, or if I was going to pay a professional to handle the job for me. Based on neighbor's recommendations, I gave Four Seasons Pressure Washing a call and Josh came out to discuss the scope of work and provide an estimate. Not only was his price much lower than I expected, he brought his own water supply, and he offered roof cleaning which I wasn't familiar with. I had him clean the roof and house and was amazed at the results. My dark blue roof had stains all over it before he got started and looked brand new when he was finished. I couldn't believe how effective his roof wash was. We had planned to replace the roof in the coming year or two because of the stains. Josh saved us from wasting a ton of money. He also did a fabulous job on our house and, unlike when I washed it using tons of bleach, none of our bushes died this time! All in all, I'm very grateful to have such a reputable company nearby to take care of our house & roof washing needs. I no longer waste 2 weekends a year doing a mediocre job washing our house myself, and our roof stays looking brand new. I'd highly recommend Josh and his team at Four Seasons Pressure Washing.

We wanted to match the wood downstairs, and they took the time to find the exact match from the manufacturer, which no other company (Home Depot, Lowes, or local companies) could do. The communication was great prior to the install. The guys who did the install work were wonderful. At the end, we had one very small mishap where there was a misunderstanding about the work they were going to do, and the team hopped right in and fixed it without charging us extra. It was a great experience. The one thing I would say is that this is not an "outlet", not quite sure why that is in the name-this is not a discount outlet shop. The pricing was fair and the work was excellent but it is not an outlet so do not expect discounted pricing. But for us, the quality was important and we were not looking for cheap, so glad that we chose this company.

An appointment window was made for 2 weeks after the template. DH had to follow up to determine when they would be ready. The appointment was made for 8-10 am. When no one showed by 10:30 AM I called DH. They then had to call Wilmington Granite to find out what was going on. They told them that the appointment was missed and they would try to show up the same day between two and 4 o'clock. I ran some errands outside the house and came home at 1:20. Wilmington Granite showed up at 1:30 and weren't even aware that they had an appointment that morning or in the afternoon between two and four. Customer service is everything this day and age, especially when we're all paying a lot more money for the same services. 2 gentlemen showed up, but one performed most of the work and had to keep calling his partner on the cell phone to come help. While cleaning up, they used a Clorox product on my wood cabinets, floor and quartz before I recognized what they were using. I would expect granite and quartz specialists to know these basic elements of the job. The quartz does look nice installed and this is what the 3 stars is for.
