I JUST learned to report terrible builders like William B Jones to the FBI, they will actually get him taken care of. WISH I KNEW! . The BBB and others are paid off. Bill Is IMPOSSIBLE to get stuff done. I've threatened to blacklist him for the DoD, and it's taking that much, just for him to move at all.... My neighbors ceiling fan, fell in 6 days into the house. Not to mintition along with her HV/AC 2 weeks later. This is just to show it's not just me, it is EVERY house on this street, it's always something. always.... My self have had poor septic system installation, drain in my front yard, no, no. Not back, front. He even paid a guy to attempt to put in a non-drilled corrugated pipe to "try and fix my door way fooding EVERY time it rained. Well he hit just a little "rock" and said it was too hard.(mind you now, im doing this over and knee+ deep, no rock . It looked like a snake in my yard (the pipe he had put in). Not to mintition a legitimate shit water pond in my yard. You sunk in it if you tried to walk in it, even bone dry. Don't even think about mowing, It would grow kneed high almost every week. Its Like walking in 2 foot of mucky nasty silt. Last year I added a total of 10 over filled truck beds of dirt just to the front, while digging the pipe out to redo. I'm still fixing HIS HANDY WORK. I forgot to mention they even came out "after I threatened lawer" and looked at our water issue. The said, I kid you not. "The last peace of concrete is angled ever just so slightly that water just pool up in my front ( at times, almost at the top of the concrete step up at the door I've also patched up sink holes from his handy work, the Right side of my house (he build it in a swamp, payed off zoning so it was no longer a "wet lands") is eroding away. when I bought the house new in 12, i'd say the vinel and the ground made a 30 degree slope, it's 2018 and yesterday I could make out 4+ (above ground), it's like the great wall now. I'm just waiting on my foundation to finally give. He is a SHIT PERSON, he BUILDS SHIT QUALTY. Karma oneday will get him for us, I just hope it's tragic, an complete accident and ungodly painful and gets plaster on the news and web for all. That's only 1 thing out of MANY. He also needs to come and fix the communal septic system. Last time I check he was Vice president of my HOA, something like that. OH YEA, he becomes a permanent ( and for some time, head) member of you HOA. So If you buy from William Bill Jones, be ready to be disappointed, get the runaround. And what else bs he comes up with until your maintenance contract runs up, and hes no longer legally obligated to help you. Fun Times, don't forget, he doen't leave or become a non-member of the HOA, only thing he cant be is president (unless maybe he dies?). YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED VOTE NO FOR WILLIAM BILL JONES CONSTRUCTION or you will pay dearly, just remember report straight to FBI (not sure what division it's called tho, but it's the FBI, they knew you were going to call). God I wish I was told that just a few years ago so stuff could be fixed. FBI has an actually case file for all contractors and keeps log of complantents, you know, because the BBB, and others can, probably are too. I'm only posting because I was hoping someone finally got this sob and was out of a business. but no :/

He will talk fast and say what he thinks he should say to seal the deal. His lack of professionalism doesn't even compare to the lack of respect he treats people with and I know first hand that he said things to me that he would of never said to a man.

Now I'm writing it here in hopes that he isn't able to scam more people in Savannah. Seems like Michael migrates around the southeast with his "construction services", taking money and failing to complete jobs. I have found complaints about him from North Carolina, Brunswick, GA, and South Carolina. This dude is a scam artist and a pathological liar. Classic sociopathic tendencies, comes off as a nice guy. Took a deposit from us and didn't even come close to completing the work. He was simply supposed to demo a kitchen (as well as do our floors, but we never got that far). He took the cabinet doors off the walls (not even the full cabinet), capped the electrical, removed the powder room vanity, and made one hole in the kitchen tile. Told me he was going to be there day in and day out and never came. He took down the wrong cabinets in our laundry room, further costing us money to replace those. Funny the only thing he ever hauled away was something we didn't want demoed. He broke some of the wall when removing the vanity in the bathroom - again, more money from us to get that repaired. Overall, he's cost us a lot of money. You can look up his name on Google and Facebook, type in Michael Britz, and see instances where he has taken money from others. He had a previous company named Mera Custom Remodeling registered in South Carolina that had multiple charges against it, ( i think 10 to be exact). He had another scam company called Seas the Day. Both companies no longer exist; they get shut down or he changes names so that people can't find a trail, like me. You can't find his name or business in the registry for the state of Georgia because he is not licensed / low - tide renovations is not a legitimate existing business in Georgia or South Carolina. I called his references. One was good, the other told me that he is a little sketchy, will require lots of handholding, but will do the work. I wanted to save money, so went with it despite someone saying he needed to be heavily managed. Couldn't find any reviews on him, but assumed he was a guy trying to start out on his own and trusted the references. Ultimately, my lesson is, never hire someone who doesn't have reviews online. Red flag. He took a $3,900 deposit from us + more in damages due to incompetence. Did about 2 hours worth of work and will not return our money.
