I am so happy I found these guys! After getting wildly different bids for wildly different scopes of work to fix my problem, it was such a relief to have Josh's no-nonsense assessment. He fixed the drain issues that had been in place for over a decade, as well as replacing all the galvanized nipples at each fixture in the house and installing a new kitchen faucet, and did it all for less than half the cost of the nearest bid. Awesome, awesome, awesome! We had a leak in an underground galvanized steel pipe between the meter and our house. Josh came and patched the lead for free so that we would have water until a more permanent fix (and didn't charge us for it). His crew then came by and replaced the pipe with copper. Even though the pipe ran under our concrete driveway, they were able to replace the pipe without breaking the concrete. We were thoroughly impressed by how friendly and professional everyone was. Although I ultimately went with someone else to replace my water heater due to scheduling conflicts, Josh was very responsive to my questions and straightforward with his pricing. When I sent him pictures of the existing water heater he was able to ask the right questions to figure out what type of water heater model I would need. I am SO THRILLED with King Plumbing! First of all, they communicated really well by Yelp messaging, email, and phone. They were prompt, helpful, and polite. They gave me an estimate that seemed a bit expensive to me for one of the things I needed done. When I asked questions, they explained to me why it was so time-consuming and I totally understood. They came and did the work while I was not home, so I have no idea how long they were at my house. They left everything so neat that it appears no one was there. I left a message on a Sunday night and Julie called the next morning to schedule an estimate. She was super helpful and accommodating, finding a time later in the evening. Josh provides very good service for a low cost. He provided the lowest estimate for the water replacement than any other company and finished the job well. We contacted him again for a problem with a leak in our house and he came in and fixed the problem as soon as he could. He guessed the problem by looking at the photos and provided the estimate but when he found it was a simpler problem, he provided a bill with lower price. He also helped prepare the bill so that we could claim the insurance for some of the job he did. Josh did a great job, listened to what we were experiencing with a kitchen drain and saved us money on the ultimate solution compared to the pre-estimate via yelp. Another plumber previously said we would have issues and our setup was not to code, but Josh figured out an easier way to correct the setup and make it legal at 1/3 the cost. He took the extra time to assess our pressure querks throughout an old house, whereas most plumbers are itching to charge and leave. King did an incredible job for us. From the start, the plumbers were knowledgeable and very attentive to what we wanted. The job was to move a frostless Faucet. They extended to line, cut off and replaced a leaking stretch of copper pipe and added a shut-off valve to turn off the water during the winter, at no extra charge. They also wrapped all the pipes and replaced other corroded clamps they saw which would have been future leaks. They were fast, very high quality, went way beyond our requirements, were very attentive to our needs and charged less than the original estimate.
