Just like other reviewer said, their price on website was just a service fee. The real price was very expensive. I was told they would try lock pick first which cost $189, and if it's not working, then they would try air-bags which costs $269 or dill which costs $320. I end up paid $320 for one knobs drill and $19 for the service fee. I felt lucky I didn't lock the second lock. The service was fine and the door was unlocked pretty quick. read more

Eric was so accommodating and professional when I called to get my home re-keyed. Our house didn't have electricity set up yet but he still worked through the dark with his head lamp, unfazed. He explained everything in layman's terms and thoroughly answered my questions. read more

Eric did excellent high quality work, at a reasonable price. I needed the locks changed out on a home I recently purchased, and Eric drove right out to me and got the job done! Excellent work, reasonable price, quick and efficient...what else can a person ask for? Eric was great! He was very informative on the phone and called throughout the day to let me know if he was running early or late to my appointment. Unfortunately, I was not there when he arrived at the house (it's my parent's house and they were there) but when I DID arrive, they were walking around the backyard, showing him their plants and giving him some to take home to his family. They REALLY liked him and said that he did a great job. read more

Scott and Dan were very easy to deal with... Had them re-key filing cabinets and put a lock on office door. really professional sorry to say can't remember the staff member that came to do locks, but really nice and got the job done right! Would definitely use them again read more

I don't normally post reviews for services, but I was so impressed that I made an exception. I called King Locksmith yesterday to re-key my new house over the weekend. the guy they sent arrived the very next day, on time and finished quite quickly. Eric was very knowledgeable, and even made suggestions about how to make my new house more secure. He also provided the extra keys I asked for at no charge. Pricing was very reasonable and services were clearly explained before and after the work was done. I highly recommend them. read more

Eric beat every time estimate from the competitors, and was cheaper, too. As a representative of Erics, he's A-okay.

Eric at King Locksmith was so great. Just moved to the Chino area and he was so friendly, and helpful. I got a quote from King Locksmith and from King Key & Lock. I will always go with King Locksmith from now on! Eric was awesome. Gave me an extremely competitive quote and the job was well done. King Key & Lock was truly a joke. The gal was horrid. It was lovely to find Eric who did not B.S. me and made sure my family and I were safe! It appears from the other reviews that these two locksmiths have somehow been mixed together. I'll pick Eric with King Locksmith and recommend him to anyone as a reliable, honest locksmith. Thanks Eric!!! read more

I called King lock smith and keys. Someone came out English was awful. Never asked for my ID. Website said 19.00 emergency and 29.00 starting rate. All he did was put springs and screws inside the key area that had came off. Came up with 282.00 total. I called the office they said just pay him 48.00. We will cancel the call. I paid him 50.00 he took my whole dead bolt off my door ran to his van and took off. I took his license plate number and have his pictures. The supervisor said he was mad and was waiting for him to calm down to bring my lock back. Today is Sunday I still don't have my lock. Don't want it now. Don't trust him nor the company No one ever called me back. Always a excuse supervisor in a meeting. Lie after lie. Reporting to the police department tomorrow with his license plate his pictures and the company phone number. Be ware don't use King lock smith and keys!!!!!! (855) 509-5492 read more

King Locksmith - This is their lock smith that stole my dead bolt off my door BEWARE!!! - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me

Found this locksmith on Yelp, and then called him after my realtor recommended the company. Eric showed up early and was very friendly. He re-keyed 12 locks within an hour, and everything worked perfectly. Thank you, Eric, for a job well done. read more

TOTAL SCAM! Do not trust at all. The website advertises a low market value for their service, but then the service guy charged me by far more than advertised. He also began to give me a discount based on my religious preference, which is subject to the company being sued. Again, the website is full od false advertising. Also, it appears that they are not even a credible company. Do not use because they are a complete scam. read more

We unfortunately contacted this company to come out to change the locks on four doors (TRO effective) and they said they would arrive in 20 min. 90 mins. later we called to check on the status and the guy said the tech would arrive in 24 min. After talking with the tech multiple times, he arrived 45 min. later. We contacted the business for a discount and the tech would not start working until we agreed to the quoted price. Since we were over a barrel and in fear we agreed to the quoted price. While the tech was working we placed two calls regarding a discount to the company and no one would contact the tech or call us back. Another call was placed and we were advised that two messages have been left for the owner. We don't foresee a resolution in the future but want to warn others. read more

This is as good as it gets when it comes to locksmiths. Eric will give you an honest opinion of the state of your locks and whether they should be changed out or just re keyed. I have referred him to many of my friends. Pricing is also fantastic, he is straight forward when you call him about how much it would be to change out your locks. Thank you Eric! read more

I thought I needed new locks turns out I only needed 1 new lock the rest were re keyed. Arrived on time with fast professional friendly service I highly recommend them! read more

5 stars all the way! Eric answered the phone himself and was very polite. He sets up a relatively small window of time to arrive - not the whole day like other service calls -and he let me know 1/2 hour before arriving so you don't have to be stuck at home waiting all day if you have local things to do. When he arrived the good manners and professionalism continued as he checked all the locks to be re-keyed. You've heard all this before but what i want you all to know about is his SECURITY DOWELS. I asked Eric to look at the locks on my sliding doors since I know that is an easy way for thieves to break-in regardless of having an alarm or cameras. They do not care since they only need a few minutes to check for valuables and personal info like ID or account info to steal. He suggested his security dowels he cuts right on the spot for sliding doors and windows. I am so glad I got them. While we were away on vacation SOMEONE ATTEMPTED TO BREAK IN BUT HIS PERFECTLY CUT SECURITY DOWELS STOPPED THEM. Eric went through everything in detail. He was quick and efficient and double checked everything for a reasonable price. I'm so happy with his work and have him in my cell in case of emergency like some other reviewers. Thanks Eric for saving me from the heartache and headaches of being robbed!!!! read more

Eric is awesome!! Great Service && attitude! Super sweet guy!

I called them when I had accidently locked my stuff in one of those "mini lockers" LA Fitness puts out for their guests...and (go figure!!) that LA Fitness didn't even have the master key! (another story). In any case Eric was quick and responsive and was standing by ready to come open the thing. In the end, after a couple days, LA Fitness finally got their key and opened it. However, I can say King Locksmith was pleasant to deal with and responded quickly, even in the evenings. read more

Eric came out and did a great job! I called yesterday asking about re-keying some locks. He was flexible with time and gave me a 2 hour window for the very next day which worked perfectly for me. He was on time, professional, and very friendly. I asked some curiosity questions, and he answered them all completely and confidently. He quoted an exact price over the phone and did exactly what I asked for. He gave me some great advice before I made my final decision on what I needed to have done. He also made some great recommendations which I will definitely give some serious thought, but he wasn't pushy at all which I really appreciated. I would not hesitate in the slightest to use Eric again and will be happy to recommend him to all my family and friends. read more
