So my husband lost his key fob for our 2018 Hyundai. I called and left a message for The Key Man and got a return call back within a reasonable time from Kevin. Once I have him the info that he needed he quoted me a really good price. So I went ahead and schedule an appointment and Kevin was able to program a new key fob for me. I would definitely recommend them. read more

These guys are amazing ! I had originally contacted them awhile ago for pricing on a additional Key Fob but never got the chance to get one made. Then the other day my purse was stolen with my only Fob in it. I was so worried because I've heard how expensive this could be going through a dealer. Contacted Kevin and he was to my rescue. He was quick, polite and very helpful. Not to mention helped me jump start my car... :) Plus they have great pricing!!!! Thank you Kevin for your great service. Highly recommend read more

Eddie did a great job replacing our locks. We did not have a key for the double lock at the gate and he managed to replace it. He replaced our front door locks as well. A couple of days later, we locked ourselves out of the house... and it was after office hours, but he came by and saved the day. We truly appreciate how much he helped us. read more

The young gentleman that helped me did such a great job and copying my storage keys even shaved it down like the original key which was thinner. I useto go to homedepot or lowes just to get copies but they're not as skilled as this guy at this locksmith. It's such a shame there's so little of these type of skilled locksmiths now but I definitely will keep coming here for as long as they stay open. On top of their great customer service, he didn't seem to get upset when I accidentally tore down their display by trying to reach for a key chain that was at the top of their shelf. My short ass try to get it and down comes 4 maybe 5 racks. Lol I still felt bad . I'm so sorry.... but on that note... they have two big giant walls of key chains and ALL kinds of designed keys you can get. They even have my favorite starwars!!! Definitely refer them if you want your keys copied done right , come here! Anywhere else you will get garrrrbage!! read more

I hate writing one star reviews. But unfortunately the overall accountability and professionalism I received reflects my rating. Service member came to my property, & left a tremendously difficult to remove tire skid at the front of my home driveway. As well as a little yet annoying pothole in front of the driveway that was dug up by his work truck's hitch. I understand mistakes happen when on service calls but taking accountability to those mistakes is huge. I called the 'owner' a few days after his visit and he let me know he'd take care of the pothole. I assumed he'd stand behind his word, and allowed for a full month to get a response. I'm honestly surprised you even charged for your service that day. read more

Eddy of The Key Man rekeyed and recoded two new auto remotes for my 2010 Acura RDX in 20 minutes! Everything works perfect with my newly programmed and rekeyed car remotes that I brought in for him to do! Friendly and great service with a smile! I highly recommend using this talented team! Been using those remotes and no issues at all after one months of use! Thanks Eddy and team! Bob read more

I love to do business with Mom and Pop places. This is owned by a nice man out there trying to support a family. He did a great job, not as fast as I would like...but a job well done. He was a little bit more than his competitors...but not enough to cry about. When I was doing business with him he was redecorating his storefront, I enjoyed listening to his dreams of how he would like to improve his business. It's like a blast from the past to be in a place like this where a family man trying to make a difference one key at a time. I feel you should come in and sit for a spell enjoy the atmosphere and shop small. read more

I was locked o it of my apt at 11pm in Chino, I called since they have a 24/7 hour service and I spoke with a guy, and never introduce him self...I still don't know who I spoke to till this day. He then said they will be there with in 30minuts but to txt him the address. Which I did, but did not receive any confirmation that her received my address. I then called him back 10mins later to confirm he received my address. He then said to wait and he will tell me. He hung up. He then txt me 5mins later that he is sending me some one els because they are out of the city, but will be here another 25mins. An hr called and he never picked up any of my calls or txt back to get an update. So please don't do any business with this guy! It is not worth it!, terrible customer service and shady vibes. Terrible experience read more

Highly recommend !! Outstanding & quick service.. Very fair & reasonable prices vs 2x to 3x more on those heavily advertised ones especially car dealerships. After year's of still owning my college go-to car, didn't realize my spare one is missing . . after getting the monthly Sweep Cleaning "Cop" parking ticket.." Keys in daughters purse away for few days"...No Spare! 2 months later, realized car will get a ticket in @2 hours.. Called Chino Locksmith .. Done & saved me on paying @$50 again..Thought my daughter ( her car now) duplicated key...oh well !! I did read the more recent questionable reviews, but I personally had a very good experience. read more

Eddie is the man. Bought a new smart lock for my home. I wanted my new lock rekey to match my existing key. Called around and everyone wanted to change an arm and leg. So I gave Chino Locksmith a call spoke with Eddie he gave me a way better deal then everyone else. He came out the following day. I gave him the lock which only took him about five minutes to rekey. Then he even offered to install and help me set it up at no extra cost. Thanks Eddie. read more

I really did NOT want to post a one star review but I feel it's necessary. I found Eddie on Yelp and called him up because at the time I lost my only key to a bmw. His price was fair & reasonable but he was very fast. He was able to come out right away and I appreciate that. I paid him $280 for a new key & the key doesn't work!!!! I let him know & he said he would check it out on Friday. Never heard from him. Reached out again Monday and he said he would come out Tuesday and NOTHING. So thankfully my 3 year old who was the one who hid my key in his fire truck ending up giving the original key I lost back to me. So pretty much I paid this guy $280 for a key that DOESN'T work. Do yourself a favor and get you something that works. I know wish I would of paid more to have a key that actually WORKS!! read more

So I had this guy come out after being recommended to him. I asked if he can program/copy a key to my car which he only did one of 2 . He looked like he was having a problem program my key instead of saying so, he goes on an says that I needed to replace a part that wasn't letting my key program . To top it he sold me a spare key for $40 when he charged the person who recommended me $10 for a spare .. long story short I went to another key smith and for the same price this guy charged me ($180) I got 2 functionally working keys with no part needed . Be careful with this guy read more

Made an appointment for 530 Wednesday evening, received a text message that he was dispatching one of his employees to fulfill that appointment but it may be 630 or 7 PM instead. After many phone calls unanswered many text messages not responded to no one ever showed up to the location of the car we needed re-keying. Called another locksmith made an appointment for the following day only to find that the car had been stolen the previous night. Will NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HORRIBLE BUSINESS TO ANYONE. Thanks to the terrible business practices of Chino Locksmith, my daughters car is gone forever!!! I would give negative stars if possible. Point is an appointment was made and then delayed and then not kept and no further communication made after the delay of appointment. Just straight up ignored! read more

I appreciate their service, kindness and honesty. Looking for someone who values their customers and does not try to overcharge them? Go here. Most definitely a 5 star review! I lost my keys and couldn't find them anywhere, I called and answered right away! Eduardo was promptly at my residence the morning of our appointment. The programming for the remote key was quick and you sure aren't going to have any hangouts about being it if his mobile office has anything to say about this. So what if the remote key has no functionality? (Mine doesn't!). I just made a phone call to Eduardo to let him know and he is going to look at the fob. If it's failing he's offered to re-reprogram my fob, or replace it, free of charge. Excellent work ethic he has there! Yea, I recommend this place hands down. read more

We drove from Chino Hills to have keys made, on a Sunday, as he advertises he's open 24 hours, but apparently not in a row! He was closed! Don't advertise you're open 24 hours if you're NOT! Be honest, show "closed on Sunday". read more

Decent price for a lock out , came fairly fast and got the job done. Thank you.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, even though this is their 2nd review. I yelped/called so many lock smiths because I lost my only vehicle transponder (car key fob). Somehow through a referral, I came into contact with Steven. He drove all the way to my location, brought a brand new exact replacement and programmed it at half the price the dealer would have charged me. Honestly, Steven and Eddie who helped me literally saved me so much trouble and are such people-people versus a money-monger whose trying to get every penny from you. They will be my locksmiths from now on and I will never forget my experience and how they resolved it in such an exceptional manner. They were incredibly helpful and I am so glad I got serviced by Chino Locksmith. read more

This company is seriously the best and a lifesaver.
