Went all around town looking for a Locksmith that can duplicate a small key for my personal vending machine at home and nobody could do it. Very disappointed!!! What happened to Chino Lock and Security? I was overcharged based on what I was quoted. Chino Lock and Security may have made a few bucks on my service call - but they lost a customer. Not only will I never use them again but I plan to tell everyone I know to use another locksmith. I have used Chino Lock and Security on my previous two residential properties going back 20+ years, and was always very pleased. Now the work is janky and the field techs aren't pleasant - one visit is all it took: I'm done with Chino Lock and Security. Seems like I'm not the only one based on my reviewing these Yelp postings. This place used to be good. Not sure if they changed management. I had a key made (about $3.25) for a mailbox about 3 months ago. It didn't work. I returned a few weeks later and told the shop attended who agreed to make me a new key if I had my receipt, which I did not. So I passed and took a small loss, not a big deal on my loss. Anyway, I thought I'd give them another try and went to get a key made for a coin operated machine. I handed the shop attendant my key to be copied. He couldn't match the key but in the attempt he damaged my original key by slightly bending it and make a cut to it. read more

Regarding HOA Keys - The Association paid a lot of money to have their locks keyed with Primus keys. We informed them we needed additional keys. Their response was that they needed to order the blanks. We call weekly. It has taken almost two months to get the key blanks. They send over their guy to cut the keys. He asks us for a copy of our key. We do not have one in the office as we had to give the last one out. This was explained before. He doesn't have the information in the office anymore to cut the key. We had to get the key back from our vendor for them to cut. We did the next day. We call them and ask to come down to have them cut the key. Adriana responds No! Unbelievable. read more

I looked up a local place and got connected with an employee, I'm pretty sure his name is Steven. He followed up quick and was professional and efficient. I called last night to see about getting a copy of a broken truck key made. Its not a chipped key. The lady on the phone was very polite and told me they can do it as long as its a straight break. Which it is... When i went in this morning. Without really looking at it or even trying the guy told me he couldnt do it and I would have to rekey the ignition. $120 to change it... I drove over to B&B on central and they were able to cut it with no problem. Key works great. The man at the shop had to call someone to find out about the ignition key. Im not sure he was the locksmith. Had someone with more knowledge been there. Its possible this review would have been better. read more

What the heck happened to this place? I used them all the way back in the 90s. I one time got my keys locked in the car and the guy came out and had it open quickly with no damage. I went and got all my keys there. Over the past year, it has been nothing but disappointments. All the old staff is gone, and there is one big dufus there that can't seem to do anything without asking the middle-aged woman there how to do it. She is always gabbing on the phone. I went in to get some GM keys made and the guys says that the GM key blanks are "rare" and "we don't order them once they are out". Funny, been getting my GM keys there and at B and B for years. I hate when I see old standards that you can rely on just go steadily downhill. What the heck is going on here? Did they sell out? I just go down the street to B and B. When I tell them these stories, they said, "yeah, we hear that alot". A real shame. read more

I have not used the services of this company. I'm writing because one of their drivers is extremely aggressive: Tailgating (very, very close), cutting drivers off, no turn signals, weaving in and out of traffic. I called the company and spoke with the receptionist and expressed my concerns. She didn't seem to care. Just got an "okie dokie" as a response. I would have given them 0 stars if possible for not caring about how their drivers handle themselves, represent the company, and the general well being and safety of the community they serve. read more

Worst customer service. I scheduled a time at 430 pm. They never showed up. Called them back and they acted like my phone wasn't answered. I'm sitting next to my phone the whole time. I rescheduled for 530pm. I had to call them twice at 520 and 530 to find out what the he'll they're doing. No answer.
