Cauliflower buffalo wings

Love king leroy, we come here whenever we visit seattle. Hours, I will say can be hit or miss unfortunately. But yeah their drinks are good and they've got Rainier on draught. The food is also very delicious, I like the nachos with pulled pork protein. They always have good music and the game or movies on.

Right in the heart of Amazon SLU, King Leroy has a trying to dive bar feel to it, except it's clean, has huge natural light windows and some interesting cocktails. Didn't try any of the food here but it looked good. Bar service is quick and attentive. One tip: it may look big but the acoustics of this place is loud, so keep that in mind.

Mold in Jell-O shot

I wish I could give zero stars, but unfortunately, that's not an option. Our visit to this restaurant was memorable for all the wrong reasons. First off, the bartender served us a tasting and literally didn't know there was alcohol in one of the drinks he gave us. Not exactly confidence-inspiring when it comes to the service. Then it got even worse: we ordered three jello shots and, incredibly, two of them arrived with actual mold on top. The third wasn't any better because instead of a jello shot, we got a ketchup packet. Yes, you read that right--a ketchup packet. Needless to say, we didn't stick around to see what else could go wrong. Proceed at your own risk if you're considering dining here!

We came to King Leroy for happy hour which ends at 6p. The wings are really good. I got my wings with the buffalo sauce and it was great. It's only 6 swings, so we also got the tater tots. The tots are decent, but not super filling - probably wouldn't order them again with just two people, but would be good to get for the table with a lot of people. Great value especially at happy hour. Quick and easy, order at the bar and they bring food to you.

Over cooked almost burnt wings .

Wings were way over cooked and half burnt. Their saving grace was the super nice cashier/ waitress/ bartender .

Tater tots with habanero honey

I went to King Leroy on a weekend evening, and every weekend there is an all day happy hour. This means that the chicken wings and tater tots (along with cauliflower wings) are half off, and I ordered the chicken wings with buffalo sauce and tater tots with habanero honey sauce. I thought the wings were nice and crispy but still retained good flavor and were juicy. The buffalo sauce seemed to have more of a vinegar flavor, so I wasn't the biggest fan of it. The tater tots were also crispy, and I enjoyed the habanero honey because it was more sweet than spicy. I really appreciated how the food came with moist towelettes. King Leroy has a very casual setting, but it's still good for conversation. You order at the bar counter and can sit down at one of the booths or barstools. There is limited booth seating, but the barstools at the counter were comfortable and had back support. It is 21+ and you're expected to show your ID at the bar counter right when you walk in.

True what they say, service isn't particularly friendly unless they know you. But otherwise, a chill spot to post up for a beer or some bar food in an otherwise very tech overrun area. You can order a burger from next door and bring it over. A+ Seattle decor.

Of all the pub style places in the area (I.e., SLU, Belltown, etc.) I have liked this one the best by a long shot. They have a diner feel with the decor like the vinyl seats and jukebox, but still modern enough. Very clean and tidy. The HH specials were also better than usual with the half priced food and several discounted drinks. Many NA cocktails too! We thought the food was well done and super reasonable with the HH prices. Lots of vegetarian options and vegan ones. The cauliflower wings were a HUGE portion like they gave me a whole head of cauliflower so definitely for sharing or hungry hungry hippos occasions. Mine was the latter so I was happy and enjoyed the honey habeñero sauce. The bartender was super friendly and helpful and checked IDs at the door, which was nice too. Also this spot is dog friendly indoors and we enjoyed greeting our fellow pooch patron on the way out. Would definitely come back!

Came in on a Friday night and learned that Old Stove Brewing gets busy for a reason! All the…read moreoutdoor tables were full when we arrived at 6, so we put our name on the list for inside and waited about 30 minutes. The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!

Outside seating is first come first serve and inside seating you have to see a hostess. We started outside and saw someone leaving and circle them like vultures. We got lucky, it was 4th of July weekend, so it was busy! We ordered pizza for the table and for my toddler. It was really good! He loves the pepperoni. My order was the salmon burger. They used a good slab of coho, nicely seasoned with a aioli. The fries were crunchy and nice. I shared with my husband and it was just right, since we had a bunch of apps at the market. We also got a round of beers. Or in my case I got their hard seltzer, which wasn't too bad, I would probably just get a light beer next time. Service was great outside! Also you get the nice breeze, they also had heaters on top. Picnic style tables and quick service!

Really nice sized brewery with lots of outdoor seating…read more Great beer selection. I just asked for the most poplar hazy and it was really good. Then went back for the second most popular as they had a few options which was nice. Everything was fine until an employee came up behind us, reached over our shoulders, took my partner's still half-full drink, and threw it away. Didn't say anything. Didn't explain why. We were so stunned in the moment, we didn't think to argue. Even the other patrons sitting next to us also looked really startled. It was only when the initial surprise wore off that one of them spoke up and said, "I think it's because your drink can't be in the can. It has to be in a glass cup." Now, I wasn't with my partner when they ordered their drink at the front counter (I don't really drink much, and I was in the bathroom at the time), so whether the situation was: A) my partner paid at the counter and took the drink (still in the can), thinking everything was a done deal or B) the employee at the front forgot to pour the drink in the apparently required glass cup before giving it to my partner ~ I have no idea ~ Whichever scenario it was, what I DON'T understand is why the employee who took the drink couldn't have explained the situation to us and offered a glass cup in the moment? Or why an employee didn't stop my partner from walking away with the drink at the very beginning when he purchased it so that it could be poured in the requisite cup? Bare minimum: why was the apparent rule not explained at any point? I tried looking for signs in the patio area that stated the rule after the fact, but I could not see any. Maybe I'm blind?? Maybe this is a Seattle thing? But if it's a Seattle thing, why did the people sitting next to us (who seemed like locals) also seem surprised by the behavior? Even if at least some of them were maybe aware of the rule, at the very least they seemed just as startled as we were to witness an employee take away a customer's ~already paid for drink~ no explanation. Disclaimer: this was back in late February-early March of 2026, so if they have since added such signs - great, perfect, love it - but I only just got around to writing this review now. 7 months later. Because I suddenly remembered and felt the need to warn others who plan on going here (especially if you're from out-of-town and they haven't added signs): make sure your drink is in a glass cup or else someone might come up behind you and throw it away.

One of the best bottle shops in the country!…read more I've had many of Bottleworks' anniversary beers in the past because they always team up with stellar breweries to make them.. but before today I have never visited the famous shop. It's smaller than I imagined it to be but every beer inside, from the draft list to the cans and the bottles are carefully curated by the staff. We grabbed a quick beer (Hill Farmstead, which is the first time I've seen this brewery for sale in the since I started this trip 6 weeks ago and Ive been through 4 states) Then we shopped for some cans, we quickly had to refrain from buying too much as the refrigerator in our van only holds so much. We ended up with a six pack and then grabbed a mystery 4 pack on the way out (mystery 4 pack was stellar). While we're shopping they opened a sour from Jester King and shared it with us. I honestly wish I lived a bit closer (Las Vegas is kinda far) because I'd be here everyday... Honestly, they have a whole cooler just for barley wine! The staff are very knowledgeable about beer and are very hospitable. Thanks for a great experience!

There are several beers and some ciders on tap from all around and all the ipa's I've tried here have been pretty decent. from there you grab your brew and have a seat at high top tables within the tap room. Again, the setting is mid-sized good for a couple groups of four and a few two person tables. Music is at a decent volume and is lit dimly making it decent for a date spot or just a place to have conversation without raised voices. Fridges line the tap room so you can mix and match beers, ciders and wines to take out which is cool. I like Bottleworks, I want to enjoy it more, but there are some issues holding me to 3 stars. The staff are...alright. Not bad, but I feel could be a little friendlier. Also they don't allow sample pours? This is a common thing at most breweries, but maybe it's because this is a tap room, but beers run a bit higher here - $8-9 a pour so that's annoying that you can't even try a couple. Lastly, they rotate things out it seems weekly. Some of the more popular options I suppose they keep but seems like a lot of turn around on the drinks so if you like something they have on tap, don't get too attached. Perhaps on subsequent visits It will improve, and I can boost the score here, but besides the decent beers and setting, it's just OK here.
