I celebrated my 50th birthday at King David Restaurant in March of 2026, and we all had an amazing experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to make my special day memorable and comfortable for all my guests. Everything was well organized, beautifully presented, and handled with great care. My family and friends truly enjoyed the celebration, and I'm very grateful to the King David team for making my birthday so special. Highly recommend this restaurant for family events, celebrations, and gatherings. Thank you for a wonderful and unforgettable evening! read more

Excellent service, delicious food, gorgeous place and nicest and caring people. I did bar-mitzvah for my son in this restaurant in 2006 and I keep coming back for my family events during these 18 years. I have celebrated couple anniversaries and my daughter's bat-mitzvah here. We have always great experience and lovely memories of the events. I am very grateful to Albert and Artur for their personal engagement in any events, for the great, personal concern. I felt like in the family. read more

Surrounded by some of the most glamorously dressed Bukharian Jewish ladies in all of the tri state areas combined, the food of course had to be as equally fabulous and so it was! Was not here for their usual a la carte menu but still I think everything usually on their menu came out! And this preggo chick was very happy to oblige to sit and eat everything. Appetizer course alone was 2 hours long. Everything from smoked fishes to a crazy variety of salads, to sushi, to pickles, olives and pickled veggies, to meat pelmenis, skewers of grilled meats, Prime rib, to endless desserts....and I mean endless.... Everything was deliciously prepared, beautifully presented and to top it off, the service was fantastic. Only pet peeve was the parking situation. Omg please get a valet service in place! Getting out of their parking lot took over an hour! read more

Amazing service, food, ambiance and extremely easy to deal with for events! Highly recommend!

Let's get it straight. This is not a walk-in type of restaurant. However, it is good for hosting events. I was invited to the birthday celebration of about 80 people by one of my friends and I must say that the service was great. The food was tasty and it kept coming. The band was amazing and overall we had fun. There is a dance floor to shake off the dinner as well. The only thing is that the restaurant is too far from the city. read more

Celebrated the engagement of my close friend here last night. The room was crafted in purple and silver. Ambiance and service excellent. The dance floor was huge! Sushi and meat were yum! This place is a great go to for a party! read more

Ever since I went to a luncheon here, several years ago, I have wanted to host a party at the King David. My daughter and future son in law gave me that opportunity, when we decided to have an engagement party there! The wedding will be in Israel later in the winter and not everyone from the USA will be going so it was important to have an affair with the importance to detail of a wedding, but the more light hearted feel of a celebration. The idea was to have an open house, cocktail party feel for 200 people. Also, certain of our guests had medical dietary restrictions! Nadia Cohen and crew far exceeded our expectations ( and the bride is an events planner)! The red & gold linens and balloons, the sparkling Kedem toasting table and DJ Naser made this a party one which will not be forgotten!! read more

My favorite place to go whenever I am in NY EVER. Whenever I have a date, and she lives near here and we go here, there is only one word to describe how she feels: impressed. This place is a gorgeous banquet hall, but when there's no party, the hall is used for anyone who wants to come in and eat some delicious food. There is a small sushi restaurant area in the basement, which is amazingly gorgeous and the sushi is the best kosher sushi I ever had in my life, wow. I love the staff, the prices are incredibly cheap, and my dates love the place. Highly recommended! read more

It is one of the best Kosher restaurants in New York for any family occasion. I personally use them for over 10 years. Delicious cuisine and a very welcoming atmosphere. You can even customize the menu for your occasion. Very well decorated interior. Exceptional customer service. Great location in the heart of Forest Hills with available parking. Highly recommend this restaurant. They truly deserve 5 stars. read more

I've been to a lot of restaurants in queens that cater to the Russian Jewish community, but my Go-To restaurant is definitely King David! There food is amazing and the amount of service you receive from the friendly staff makes you feel at home. I've worked with Arthur and Nadia and unlike most catering halls, they were there for every step of my event (Small Bat Mitzvah which in my family means only 175 people, lol). Whatever was discussed was provided, plus exceptional entertainment which was included in the price. I'm glad to have options, but King David is my first choice for all my party needs. read more

The best place to do your events and party's they have the best food and service and music always very kind caring loving manager !

I had my son's bris it left a sour taste in my mouth. The only good thing at the restaurant was the sushi, everything else was subpar or disgusting. They didn't tell us that they booked two parties in one day so they were rushed us two hours in advance. We signed up for party from 12 to 5 but s 3 o'clock our tables were already cleared. The manager is a total b**** , she kept clearing the table I kept going to the owner and telling him that we had to 5 o'clock. Needless to say that they cleared out my guests by 4. The owner thinks he's being slick and clever by having the manager do his dirty work and then he blames her. We would never go there again or have any type of event. Half of my guests myself included left the restaurant with an upset stomach I was throwing up for 24 hours after I left the restaurant. All I can say you get what you pay for and be aware that you will not have a happy event at and after this place. read more

We have attended this restaurant many times previously but this is the first time that we decided to host our own event at this venue. All I can say is that it exceeded all of our expectations in all aspects. The food was top notch and most importantly fresh and tasty. The manager Nadia is so attentive, knowledgeable and full of ideas. She is a great party planner that is easy to work with and is with you from start to finish ensuring every detail is captured and is done at its best!! Highly recommend this venue for any occasion. read more

Me and my boyfriend had the exact same experience as one of the other posters. We walked in and were made aware that we did not belong by rude looks. It was deliberate shunning. We live very close by and would love to have a nice welcoming restaurant near us. If that is what you are looking for, do not go to King David. This restaurant is a poor reflection of our neighborhood. read more

I have nothing but stellar things to say about King David and its next door sushi bar. The owner arranged for three special rolls to come to our table, one of which was an amazing tempura roll, the others had lightly broiled salmon skin. The presentation was stupendous, with sweet sauce and spicy mayo, diced mango and pineapple, and the rolls were delectable. The hot sake that accompanied the rolls was smooth and had great body. The waitress was most accommodating, and service was spot-on, with attention to detail. The beef negimaki was made from rib eye steak, and was juicy and delectable, followed by a crispy orange chicken dish with a delectable sweet sauce and orange zest. The flavors were spot-on, the prices were very reasonable, and the restaurant itself was absolutely gorgeous. I look forward to coming back very soon. read more

This place was amazing ! Every dish was amazing! Especially the sushi and the lamb! I want to go back very soon!

I know my wife and I owe a lot of thank you's for making our sons David's barmitzvah a very memorable one. First and foremost we would like to thank Nadia Cohen and Benjamin for making all this happen in lovely place King David Glatt Kosher Restaurant which by the way the greatest place to celebrate any events and/or occasions. Nadia Cohen, Benjamin and all your crew, thank you so much for seeing through all major and minor details of having our celebration go smooth, beautiful & most important a delicious event, including all the waiters/waitresses for an excellent and superb service. Speaking of beautiful, we extend our great appreciation to Elegant Flowers & Gifts (Sergey & Natasha). This was truly the most beautiful, elegant, detail oriented decoration ever seen by all my guests. Some, if not all of my guest words were: "wow, unbelievable, incredible, beautiful & outstanding" decorations. Same reaction goes to Lestis Bakery, thank you, for making an incredible barmitzvah cake. The party would not be this much fun and exciting without Nasyr Mukhamedov, Teona, Douglas, Yohan and the one and only DJ Yura Jacobs. Thank you all for giving us all 100% into our celebration event. Speaking of giving 100%, we would also like to thank entertainment group "Aria Entertainmnet". Alex you and crew did an amazing job with keeping all of us entertained and dancing none stop, not to mention beautiful costumes. Also extending our many thanks to Tia @ TG Entertainment for working with our kids on their number that everyone is still talking about. Speaking of kids, many thanks to Platinum NYC Events for all the games and entertainment for our entire younger crowd. Another very important appreciation goes to Arthur Video (Yura Matatov & his crew), for catching all the greatest moment throughout David's barmitzvah celebration and making a cool clip. Many thanks to Inna @ Spectrum Salon for making my wife look even prettier with hair and makeup. Special thanks to Arsen Mondrion Limo for making my boys and I look incredible in tuxedos in such a short time. Thank you Roma Nektalov & Gabriel Isakov for teaching our son his parsha and making sure he was ready. Thank you Beit Ilyahu for hosting our son's barmitzvah and Rabbi Tabibov for always being there for us. Thank you Ephraim @ New Life Catering for great breakfast arrangement. And lastly, we would like to thank all the guests that where there with us celebrating this great event in our lives. May we always be together and celebrate only happy occasions. Last night we have greeted new 2017 year at this restaurant and I had to share my experience. It was a masquerade ball which I will never forget. The decor was very beautiful, it was colorful with a lot of detail and thought. I had around 50 people attending and I was very worried but when I got there my hear was at ease. The tables were full of variety of different salads and appetizers. Everything was on point and organized, seats were as were on the floor plan. Nadya the manager was very helpful and accommodating through out the entire process. The food was absolutely amazing and delicious. There was at least 7 different entries. Service was great all waiters and waitresses were very friendly and very accommodating. Music was to die for. Everyone had an amazing time, everyone was dancing non stop. We greeted new years as one family. The musicians were all absolutely amazing and kept crowd on their feet all night. Overall experience was amazing and definitely will come back to this place again and again. read more
