I found out about this place because my friend's dad drove by and told us about it. The annual duck fest was very fun. Free admission. There were all these free samples with different ways of cooking the duck, from duck nachos, duck steak, duck wings and many more. As you entered, they give you a card and each tent would sign off the item as you try them. Lots of variety and friendly staff. They have a store where you can purchase the duck breast, duck eggs, etc and cooking classes for only $75. It was such a wonderful event. I really enjoyed it!

Recently learned about this place and I'm loving it already!! They literally have every duck thing you can think of from whole ducks, duck breasts, duck pizza, duck eggs, duck gizzards, the list just goes on! Everything is a bit cheaper and fresher than from the supermarket and more selection. The employees are also super friendly and helpful! Will definitely be coming back to get more duck in the future!!

2kg on the label but barely over 1kg even with packaging.

They have a maximum of 10 people inside at a time (according to their website) however even though we booked a specific time frame, there was pretty clearly more than 10 people inside. Unlike some other zoos we went too, there was no real path to follow. It's basically a giant square with a small square on the inside. The outline of the larger square is filled with fenced in animals, and the inner square has fenced animals as well. Although its understandable they have an admission fee for the upkeep of the animals, I feel it should have included the feed. Other zoos are free admission and only charge for feed (ie. high park) so in terms of value, this is a bit below par. Finally, I would never say the animals are aggressive, however when trying to feed the goats, one of them bit the entire feed bag and ripped it away. As I'm an adult, this is fine as I am agile and athletic, however a small child could have easily gotten injured, so perhaps some more training would suffice.

You get to choose time slot and we only got 45 mins before we had to leave which was plenty of time mind you since it was really hot. Extra $5 for a bag of feed to feed the animals. My son enjoyed looking at the animals but I wish the price was per person so I don't have to pay the same amount even if I have a smaller family.

There's also a large area for sunflowers and pumpkin patch. Kids would enjoy the maze and large bumpy slide. Market: amazing variety. I am afraid to go inside especially the baked goods area. Everything is orderly and fresh. Going to buy all my veggies here from now on. RTBF also has a CSA program where vegetables can be delivered/picked up (curbside available) until early November. The portions and variety are amazing! We're so happy to have joined. Price was also very reasonable. Everything is always so fresh and tastes amazing. Our favourite are the cherry tomatoes. I have been eating them like candy! Some CSA items have been in our fridge for over a week and still looking fresh. A weekly letter is sent to give us ideas of what to make or maybe frozen for later. One of the perks of being in the CSA bin program is that admission to the farm is complimentary and we can come back anytime! Perfect if you have kids in the family. They also give you some veggies to feed the animals. Lots of parking. You can park on the grass if the gravel lot is full. Staff are very nice and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back soon!

Just be careful because they seem to be very hungry all the time The farm is spread across a large area and it includes the animal pens, a small straw maze with slides, old tractors for riding, tube chute slide, corn maze, sunflower fields, and a small pumpkin patch where they've collected all the harvested pumpkins in one area. They have decorated straw bales and scarecrows for halloween. The farm market is very rustic. This is where you can get fresh vegetables, baked goods, pies, meat, cheese, dairy and more! I've tried a couple cookies and they were delicious. I've also tried the turkey pot pie- a little salty but the pie crust was sooo flaky! What's amazing is that they also allow pets as long as they are on leash, you poop and scoop, and that they don't scare the animals. It's a family affair!

The sunflower walk is really nice, lots of tall sunflowers and some great spots to take pictures. Last year they had art (of minions) interspersed throughout. We also went strawberry picking and they had SO many strawberries. Just rows and rows. They tasted so good too - juicy, sweet, flavourful. Definitely way better than the ones you buy on plastic cartons at the grocery store. You can either pay for one of their baskets (and you can get like a dollar back if you return it), or you can bring your own basket as long as it is labeled with how many Litres it holds. A 2L basket is $14 for you to pick and fill.

When we reached the white tent, the employee asked what we were there for since there's the sunflower walk, picking strawberries and veggies from the farm, and cutting your own bouquets of flowers. For the sunflower walk, she directed us to the hut a little further away, and we could pay there. The walk there was filled with cardboard cutouts with face holes with Toy Story characters. It's currently $5.25 per person, free for those under three years of age, and $3.25 per person if you're cutting flowers on the same day. Paying was easy with a tap of a credit card. The sunflower walk starts at the bales of hay. We saw plenty of bees on the sunflowers and there were many photo opportunities with the Minions from Despicable Me. They were painted as recreations of famous paintings.  We didn't pick our own veggies, but it was interesting to see how they're grown. Some of the veggies that we saw were Swiss chard, kale, zucchini, bell peppers, green onions, leeks, pyo beans, beets, radishes, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, and cabbage. Their farm market has these veggies for sale already picked as well as other products like honey, bouquets of flowers, and strawberries.

Now it's a good time to pick strawberries, raspberry, blueberries, peas, and corns. There are wagons to take ppl from one field to another. We got off at the strawberry field, but we don't really into the strawberry, so just took a look; then we got to the raspberry field, they looked good, but we barely eat raspberry; then we went to the Blueberry field, our destination was here. We saw another side of the field was having big blueberries, but they didn't open that side to us. And they said it was noon already, most of the big ones had been picked. I tasted a few, they were sort of big, but soured. We moved to other sides, but still the same. When we went home, most of them we made smoothies with honey. We also went to the peas field, not too many people. The peas were so sweet that we could eat them raw. But we went home to boil them with the skin, the skin was hard to eat, it was not snow peas, and too expensive when weighed with the skin. Good experience for the kids. They were happy.

The blueberries were plentiful but small and not that sweet. However the strawberries were so juicy and delicious. You pay $9 per person (6 and under are free), then after you pick, you show your receipt and they deduct what you paid. So as long as you pick at least $9 worth, there's technically no entry fee. We somehow managed to pick under and was asked if we wanted to go back and pick more but was too lazy to. There are 2 different tractors that take you - one to the blueberries. The other to the apples, sweet corn, raspberries, strawberries. There weren't many raspberries to pick, and no one else was there probably for that reason. You can bring your own baskets, otherwise they have plenty and you can pay for them. The tractor wagon ride was very long and enjoyable for kids. They have a little playground area and lots of picnic tables. We tried the apple cinnamon froyo which was one of the flavours (the other ones were rasberry and blueberry). The apple cinnamon flavour was unlike anything i have ever tasted. A bit sour, very cinnamony, and sweet. It tasted like apple pie in a froyo. Overall it was great value!
