It does get busy at certain times of the day, but cars come in and out frequently. I first cake here to purchase some beneficial bugs a few months ago to control fungus gnats. It was $0.50/pack (so reasonable) and they're good for many different types of pests. I plan on getting way more of them when they're available. They have an online store and an Etsy shop where you can buy plants online. I haven't purchased any plants from them yet, so can't comment on the quality. But back to me saying they're the sweetest people ever. The owners of John Rose Farm had way too many apples to pick before they went bad. They posted on Instagram saying they were giving away free apples. You could pick it up from their pop-up location. I offered to pick it up there, but the owner said there would be lots of traffic going that way at that time, so she dropped it off at my house instead. Sooooo kind!!! I also know a few people who have worked with them before and said they were really nice people too. Def the kind of local businesses I love to support!

They do have portable washrooms. Food and drinks can get very pricey, but you can bring your own snacks/food. The Spokes potato snacks are yummy, filling, and amazing. You eat them guilt-free. They loved the cookies. They were fresh, delicious, and perfect. This store is clean and inviting. I was pleased to see a beer section with a decent mix of craft and mainstream brands and flavours. Part of me wanted to get ice cream sandwiches. The problem was not having them melt, so I had to pass. As usual, there are food samples. I tried some chick pea chips that had a subtle mustard flavour. I was probably standing in front of these chips longer than I should have been. Okay, so I ate about a quarter of what would be a bag of them. They were delicious and I did buy groceries here. Every spot at this farm is photo worthy! In the Boo barn, there was a small haunted house. In the food barn, there was your regular hotdogs, but there's also pumpkin curry and some delicious chili. Don't forget to pick up some hot apple cider! There's lots of outdoor seating as well as free parking. I'll definitely be back next year.

So we essentially paid $40 extra for 4 pumpkins, as anyone could have gotten the wagon ride for free if they wanted. My kids enjoyed the witches lair and seeing the animals. My 3 year old had a quick pony ride for an extra $5, which she loved. The corn "maze" wasn't really a maze at all, and very small. They were all sold out of candy apples and pies by the time we were ready to purchase them. From what I saw, they had sausages/hot dogs, baked goods like rice crispie squares and brownies, cold drinks (pop/water), coffee and hot chocolate. Lots of opportunities for photo ops.
