We spoke to the gentleman who also introduced us to mead. I had never heard of it. We were able to try a few flavors and ended up buying a bottle to take home. They have a maximum of 10 people inside at a time (according to their website) however even though we booked a specific time frame, there was pretty clearly more than 10 people inside. Unlike some other zoos we went too, there was no real path to follow. It's basically a giant square with a small square on the inside. The outline of the larger square is filled with fenced in animals, and the inner square has fenced animals as well. Although its understandable they have an admission fee for the upkeep of the animals, I feel it should have included the feed. Other zoos are free admission and only charge for feed (ie. high park) so in terms of value, this is a bit below par. Finally, I would never say the animals are aggressive, however when trying to feed the goats, one of them bit the entire feed bag and ripped it away. As I'm an adult, this is fine as I am agile and athletic, however a small child could have easily gotten injured, so perhaps some more training would suffice.

They had a pot with pieces of wax corn to sample. As they explained, it tasted waxy and harder to chew. It would be an acquired taste if you are use to sweet corn. The sweet corn is very large - 10inches. The price was $10/12, $5/6 or $1.00 each. We bought 3. I had 1/2 a corn and it was filling seeing how large they were. It was tender, a little waxy and Juicy. Not bad. I am use to the supermarket corn and prices, which I know would not be the same quality but the price difference is to be considered. They also had hit peppers, small tomatoes and green peppers for sale. These also on the pricier side.

Service was on the slower side and it seemed the kitchen was in the weeds despite not being a packed house. Not sure if it's because of the ingredients but the prices are on the higher side, such as the sausage (essentially a short hotdog) with home fried for $16. Overall a good experience for the convenience of table service otherwise getting food from somewhere like Framboy and making it yourself would be a good equivalent. To be fair this is a 3.5/5 but half stars aren't possible.
