This place is very, very busy so maybe the team here needs to review the logistics here. Parking was quite chaotic and the staff member I think who was responsible for directing traffic was simply standing there. The cafe looked delicious too, but again, the line up and wait time was a little much. Again the staff member standing by the door was doing very little, which was confusing. It was unclear where the line started. It's not all doom and gloom though. My son enjoyed picking blueberries as it was his first time doing it. The staff need to be better trained, which may help the chaos that I saw. Good for: fruit picking

What a lovely afternoon picking blueberries! Opting for the 4 litre container, it took about 1.5…read morehours to fill. As a cool down snack, I had a kid sized blueberry ice cream. Unfortunately it tasted more like cream even though it was so bluey-purple. I would come back but would definitely try to avoid using the minimal facilities. My main caveat would be the lack of washrooms and handwashing stations. Customers have access to 3 port-o-potties. That's it. I only noticed a sink on the side of the main building much later. Thank goodness for my own hand sanitizer. Considering the new-looking building, you'd think better washrooms would be available for use.

Lionel Petting Zoo is only in operation from May until October, which makes sense as it looks like…read morethe whole zoo is outdoors. They have a maximum of 10 people inside at a time (according to their website) however even though we booked a specific time frame, there was pretty clearly more than 10 people inside. Unlike some other zoos we went too, there was no real path to follow. It's basically a giant square with a small square on the inside. The outline of the larger square is filled with fenced in animals, and the inner square has fenced animals as well. Although its understandable they have an admission fee for the upkeep of the animals, I feel it should have included the feed. Other zoos are free admission and only charge for feed (ie. high park) so in terms of value, this is a bit below par. Finally, I would never say the animals are aggressive, however when trying to feed the goats, one of them bit the entire feed bag and ripped it away. As I'm an adult, this is fine as I am agile and athletic, however a small child could have easily gotten injured, so perhaps some more training would suffice.

Went mid August looking for something to do with my son. I though the admission price was kind of…read morepricey ($28 for 5 people), does not matter if you have 3 people, same price for the group and much smaller than I thought. You get to choose time slot and we only got 45 mins before we had to leave which was plenty of time mind you since it was really hot. Extra $5 for a bag of feed to feed the animals. My son enjoyed looking at the animals but I wish the price was per person so I don't have to pay the same amount even if I have a smaller family.

There's a small animal farm where you can see bunnies llamas ponies, turkeys, and donkeys. They were even some piglets! There are pony rides, wagon rides, and of course, pumpkin picking! Every spot at this farm is photo worthy! In the Boo barn, there was a small haunted house. In the food barn, there was your regular hotdogs, but there's also pumpkin curry and some delicious chili. Don't forget to pick up some hot apple cider! There's lots of outdoor seating as well as free parking. I'll definitely be back next year.

No one was checking your wristband (aka tickets) to board the wagon though-- wristbands were only checked when you exited the farm. So we essentially paid $40 extra for 4 pumpkins, as anyone could have gotten the wagon ride for free if they wanted. My kids enjoyed the witches lair and seeing the animals. My 3 year old had a quick pony ride for an extra $5, which she loved. The corn "maze" wasn't really a maze at all, and very small. They were all sold out of candy apples and pies by the time we were ready to purchase them. From what I saw, they had sausages/hot dogs, baked goods like rice crispie squares and brownies, cold drinks (pop/water), coffee and hot chocolate. Lots of opportunities for photo ops. All in all, not really impressed for the price we paid. Would be a 4-star review if it were half the price.

My best friend lives in Port Hope Canada two years ago for her birthday I bought her a gift…read morecertificate which she apparently never used. Lame. Fast Forward to my visit a couple of weeks ago. This was probably the funnest thing I did on my trip to Canada (well Duran Duran was pretty awesome too). It was hot as hell so the yoga was great because it was in the shade if you're going to do goat yoga plan on getting dirty. The goats poop on your mats and eat your hair but it's all worth it. Oh there's some super cuddly kids in there! The yoga was definitely the easiest yoga I've done because it was at your own pace we couldn't really hear the instructor so we kind of tried to follow along with people that work close to us that we watched. They asked that you bring a matt, which we didn't even think of. Luckilyish they had some spare mats and I'm glad I didn't bring my matt because they were filthy afterwards... Like with poop, dirt, and grass. There is a store and a goat Cafe. I heard so many good things about the goat Cafe but apparently they were out of everything even though we were at the beginning of the day. There were only 3 menu items available. I picked the pulled pork. It was so sweet it was inedible I took a bite and I couldn't eat anymore I actually returned it to the guy uneaten. He didn't even ask if I wanted a box, which I would have told him no it's horrible. So I don't recommend eating at the cafe at all. I did pick up a couple of cookies and goodies and they were dry and flavorless. The goat cheese was amazing!! I highly recommend picking up some goat cheese especially the gouda the gouda is good. They also have some really good grapefruit mint soda that I loved. He asked the lady what a favorite is and she says the goat fudge which I ate the other night and it was mediocre at best. On the website you can pick between yoga and a schmergel. Well if you're like me I was like what the hell is a shmurgle. It's where you walk around the farm with either goats or an alpaca pack. They also have overnight stays available we did consider it but then we thought oh no what if the goats scream... never mind. My friend never used her gift certificate because she wants to go do an alpaca shmurgle so she'll be back.

Great walking paths. Icelandic horses. Goats of course. Friendly staff…read more Alpacas, exotic chicken and baby piggy's
