This year I went bit early and I was expecting great blueberries as it's the third day after they opened. Unfortunately, I bought 3 buckets and went in the farm with entrance fee of $5.30, and found the blueberries quality is not good as before. There's a lot of blueberries, but with no taste, no sweetness, they were just taste like water. So I filled two of my buckets, and decided not to fill the third one as the quality was not what I expected as I know how it was before. I went to the register, asked for a refund for the third unused bucket, and they told me it's non-refundable. The on-site manager was also very rude saying if I am not taking the options that he offered(which all not fair and not matching the money I have paid for), he would ask me to leave and never welcomed back. As that threatening, my friend took the for the reschedule even she is not available to come, and I have emailed their owner, no one replied. BTW, THERE IS NO POLICY ON THEIR WEBSITE SAYING NO REFUND FOR UNFILLED BUCKET DUE TO POOR QUALITY OF THE BLUEBERRIES! Also, NO ONE TOLD YOU THERE'S NO REFUND WHEN YOU ARE PAYING FOR THE BUCKET AND ENTRANCE FEE. NO SIGNS AT THE REGISTER AS WELL.

They limit how much you can bring in, here is the list: 1 cup of baby carrots(must be orange and must be store bought) 1 cup of apple slices 1 romaine or iceberg lettuce 6 slices of bread Weekdays (Cash & Debit only): $3.00+HST/person. Children under 1 year old are free. Weekends and Holidays: Adult (over 18) $5.00+HST/person. Children $3.00+HST/person. Children under 1 year old are free. At the front they will check how much food you will be bringing in. Even if you do bring over the recommended amount they will give you a bag of how much you can bring in and package the rest for you and keep it on the side for pick up later when you leave. The workers are all really nice and friendly. There are no signs as to what to feed which animals, some people may not ask and feed the emu carrots which would cause the emu to choke. Just be aware of this. The sheep are cute they will come up over the fence just to get some food. I've seen little children stick their little hands directly into the animals mouth without them biting so you won't need to worry about being bitten. There is hand sanitizer on site to clean your hands before and after playing with the animals. Unfortunately no running water, my hands felt nasty after an uninvited cow licked me. Oh also you can host birthday parties for the kids, there is a really large farm house in the back they will decorate the place and give a juice box to each child and i believe pizza as well. They have a maximum of 10 people inside at a time (according to their website) however even though we booked a specific time frame, there was pretty clearly more than 10 people inside. Unlike some other zoos we went too, there was no real path to follow. It's basically a giant square with a small square on the inside. The outline of the larger square is filled with fenced in animals, and the inner square has fenced animals as well. Although its understandable they have an admission fee for the upkeep of the animals, I feel it should have included the feed. Other zoos are free admission and only charge for feed (ie. high park) so in terms of value, this is a bit below par. Finally, I would never say the animals are aggressive, however when trying to feed the goats, one of them bit the entire feed bag and ripped it away. As I'm an adult, this is fine as I am agile and athletic, however a small child could have easily gotten injured, so perhaps some more training would suffice.

My 3 year old had a quick pony ride for an extra $5, which she loved. The corn "maze" wasn't really a maze at all, and very small. They were all sold out of candy apples and pies by the time we were ready to purchase them. From what I saw, they had sausages/hot dogs, baked goods like rice crispie squares and brownies, cold drinks (pop/water), coffee and hot chocolate. Lots of opportunities for photo ops. All in all, not really impressed for the price we paid. Would be a 4-star review if it were half the price.

So as the name suggests, this is an Alpaca farm, mill, and shop that is open to visitors! They have 80 alpacas on site, 4 human-friendly guard dogs that are huge great pyrs that love pets, and 2 curious barn cats that wander around. You can use Google maps to navigate here but note that this address takes you to the farm house which is not open to the public. The entrance to the store and where tours start is actually at 13557 Little Lake Road which is walkable but I recommend driving here since there isn't really sidewalk to get there. There is parking available anywhere you can pull up. When we arrived, we headed up to the store to check in. The entrance to the barn is decorated with all the awards their alpacas have won over the years. We were also greeted by one of the dogs, Phil, who had just woken up from a snooze. It would turn out that all the dogs around loved getting pats which was awesome. When we got up to the shop we met Amy, the owner, who is very sweet and happy to answer any questions you have about the goings on at the farm. There are two main activities that you can do at the farm: the tour and the trek. The tours start at $10 for children aged 6-16 and is $20 for adults. The trek is $20 for everyone 11+. The combo of the tour and the trek goes for $35 and is cheaper at $25 for those aged 10-16. If you fall into the right age categories, I highly recommend doing the tour and the trek, especially if you have someone in your group that doesn't mind being the dedicated videographer of your trip. The tours take up to a maximum of 10 people at a time and run at 12pm and 2pm. If you're coming on a weekend with nice weather, I suggest calling ahead to reserve a spot. The tour is guided and takes you around the farm to the different alpaca enclosures and you get to interact with the alpacas that aren't too shy. Our guide, Liam, was able to answer any questions that we had about the animals and explained how the alpacas are taken care of and was able to tell us about the characteristics of different individuals. He also let us know that him and his assistants were available to take pictures for us as well. Now if you're like me and you want the full experience, the trek allows you to walk an alpaca during the tour! You actually walk it like a dog, on a leash. I don't know what it is about holding the leash but it feels like it directly connects you to the soul of the animal or something and it made me feel super special. You're also welcome to pet your alpaca. They give you instructions on how to properly walk and interact with your alpaca so both you and your new best friend are comfortable. A word on what to wear: dress for the weather. This is a real farm, not a petting zoo, so it can get messy. We were here on a day after it just rained so it was super muddy and on our tour we avoided one of the trails they normally take you down during the tour. Also a few of us showed up in running shoes and nicer footwear that we didn't want to get ruined and Amy was gracious enough to let us borrow the boots and shoes they had for use by the farm staff. I would definitely just wear shoes you don't mind getting dirty. Back at the shop they have different goods handmade from the Old Mill's own alpaca wool like warm weather accessories, felt animals, and even wool soaps for sale as well as some clothing items that from alpaca wool from Peru. They are also able to take custom orders that can be shipped or picked up at a later date. They accept cash, credit card, and e-transfer. If you have accessibility issues this might not be the best attraction since the store is up a set of stairs and the tour goes over terrain that is not paved.

They told me they have to do this because many of their patrons just go in and eat. Indians and Muslims galore, sitting in the fields eating the cherries while they walk out with barely any picked. One patron gave my daughter BRANCHES he had taken from the trees with cherries on them. My teens get mad going to this farm because of what they see. As for the cherrries, the sours weren't really sour tasting imo, and a lot of the trees just don't taste great. Make sure you taste every tree bc the ones with the cherries still on them, are yucky tasting. The one lady worker is nice. The other ones are just kind of meh. I would be too if I saw my farm being destroyed by people not speaking my language and not really caring about my land. We won't be going back anymore. It feels like a punch in the gut.

This was probably the funnest thing I did on my trip to Canada (well Duran Duran was pretty awesome too). It was hot as hell so the yoga was great because it was in the shade if you're going to do goat yoga plan on getting dirty. The goats poop on your mats and eat your hair but it's all worth it. Oh there's some super cuddly kids in there! The yoga was definitely the easiest yoga I've done because it was at your own pace we couldn't really hear the instructor so we kind of tried to follow along with people that work close to us that we watched. They asked that you bring a matt, which we didn't even think of. Luckilyish they had some spare mats and I'm glad I didn't bring my matt because they were filthy afterwards... Like with poop, dirt, and grass. There is a store and a goat Cafe. I heard so many good things about the goat Cafe but apparently they were out of everything even though we were at the beginning of the day. There were only 3 menu items available. I picked the pulled pork. It was so sweet it was inedible I took a bite and I couldn't eat anymore I actually returned it to the guy uneaten. He didn't even ask if I wanted a box, which I would have told him no it's horrible. So I don't recommend eating at the cafe at all. I did pick up a couple of cookies and goodies and they were dry and flavorless. The goat cheese was amazing!! I highly recommend picking up some goat cheese especially the gouda the gouda is good. They also have some really good grapefruit mint soda that I loved. He asked the lady what a favorite is and she says the goat fudge which I ate the other night and it was mediocre at best. On the website you can pick between yoga and a schmergel. Well if you're like me I was like what the hell is a shmurgle. It's where you walk around the farm with either goats or an alpaca pack. They also have overnight stays available we did consider it but then we thought oh no what if the goats scream... never mind. My friend never used her gift certificate because she wants to go do an alpaca shmurgle so she'll be back.

What an absolute delight! I came here to pick my own cherries. They have a nice farm with many…read moresweet and sour cherry trees. On the weekend I was here (in July) there were still lots of cherries for the picking. If you don't want to pick your own, they have some pre-picked as well. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly, and prices were reasonable. This was another fun activity to do in the Twenty Valley besides tasting wine!! I can't wait to do it again next year.

They have plenty of cherry and sour cherry trees and you can easily walk around the orchard and pick your own cherries/sour cherries. They open up at 8am sharp and if you get there early enough, you'll be able to pick 7litres in less than an hour. The owners are very friendly. You can also sign up for their newsletter and get discount. I recommend keeping your baskets and bring them back with you every year.
